Always
1. Always position the heater in accordance
with the instructions.
2. Alwaysmakesuretheelectricalsocketis
accessible and located adjacent to, but not
above the heater.
3. Alwaysuseareguardwhenchildren,
animalsandinrmpersonscancomeinto
contact with the heater. Pay attention! The
air outlet gets hot during operation.
4. AlwaysturntheapplianceOFFandunplug
it from the mains wall outlet when it is not in
use, when moving the appliance from one
location to another and before cleaning.

1. Never leave the appliance unattended when
it is in use. Never leave children unsupervised
inaroomwheretheheaterisONand
unguarded.
2. Never obstruct or cover the air outlet or force
items into the heater openings, this could
causeoverheatingandconsequentriskof
re.Neverinsertorallowforeignobjects
to enter the air outlet as this may cause
damage to the appliance.
3. Never position or use the heater in the
immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub,
shower, washbowls, swimming pool etc.
4. Neveruseaerosolsorsteamcleanersonor
around the heater.
5. Neverusethefanheaterinroomswith
explosivegasorwhileusingammable
solvents, varnish or glue.
6. Never route the power supply cord under
carpet etc.
7. Never use the heater to dry clothes, etc.
8. Never operate the appliance with a
damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction
orifitisnotworkingnormally,droppedor
damaged in any way.
9. Never let the power cord hang over the edge
of a table or counter or let it touch any hot
surfaces.
10. Never move the appliance by pulling the
cord.
11. Never immerse the product in water or any
other liquid for any reasons.
12. Never use accessories that are not
recommended or supplied by the
manufacturer.
Position Instructions
This heater must be placed on a hard, level, heat
resistantsurface.Whenpositioning,pleasekeep
the following points in mind:
• The heater requires no installation. It should
be used solely as a portable appliance. The
heater must always be used and stored in an
upright position.
• This heater must not be located immediately
below an electrical outlet.
• The heater MUST only directly be plugged in
toaxedDomesticPoweroutlet,DONOT
use in conjunction with Extension cords ,
PowerBoardsorDoubleAdaptors,asthese
can overheat when overloaded.
• Donotusetheapplianceinroomslessthan
4m2areas.
• Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects
atleast100cminfrontand50cmbehindthe
heater.Donothanganythingonorinfrontof
the fan heater.
• Never position the heater close to curtains
or combustible materials such as furniture,
cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains
etc. Keep the appliance at least 100cm
(1m) from walls and any other combustible
materials.
• Never position or use the heater in the
immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub,
washbowls, swimming pool etc. where the
likelihoodofimmersionorsplashingcould
occur.
• Keep hearthrugs and other soft furnishings
away from the front of the heater. They could
obstructthefreeowofhotairanddamage
both soft furnishings and heater.

Cautions:
Donotoperatetheapplianceonaninclined
place.Donotmovetheappliancewhilethe
appliance is switched on.
Inordertoavoidahazardduetoinadvertent
resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance
must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or connected
to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off
by the utility.
This heater is hot when in use or directly after use.
Toavoidburns,donotletbareskintouchhot
surfaces. Keep combustible materials such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtainswellawayfromtheheater.Donotdrape
laundry or any other items over the heater.
At the end of the product’s serviceable life it
should be disposed of carefully and safely in
accordance with local authority regulations.

Oscillation
1. Press the “TURN” button to turn the oscillation
function‘On’.
2. Press the “TURN” button again to turn the
oscillationfunction‘Off’.
Tip over switch
ThisHeaterwillonlyworkonarmstablesurface.
IftheHeaterisnot100%stableandinanupright
position (vertical), the unit will switch off until
placed in the correct position.
When operating the heater for the rst time
or after a period of prolonged storage it
is normal for the heater to emit a burning
smell, fumes and a little smoke around the
Heating elements and Ceramic mounting
lugs. It requires only a few minutes of
(“Burn In”) time for the smell, fumes and
smoke to disappear and this “Burn In”
time should ideally be conducted in a well
ventilated area before moving the heater
to its intended position for ongoing use.

Battery Replacing (For Remote

1. Theremotecontrolrequiresone“CR2025”
type 3-volt lithium battery (included). If the
operation of the remote control becomes
unsatisfactory, replace with a new 3-volt
lithium battery.
2. Place the remote control with the control
buttons facing downward.
3. Loosenthecoverscrew,Pressthelockingarm
of the battery cover and pull out the tray.

Congratulations on the purchase of your new
OscillatingRadiantHeater.
Before using your new heater, it is important that
you read and follow the instructions in this Use
andCarebooklet,evenifyoufeelthatyouare
quitefamiliarwiththisappliance.Findaplace
tokeepthisbooklethandyforfuturereference.
Attention is drawn to section dealing with
‘IMPORTANTSAFEGUARDS.’
This appliance has been designed to operate
from a standard domestic power outlet. It is not
intended for industrial or commercial use.
Operation
Whenoperatedforthersttime,theunitmay
emit an unpleasant burning type smell. This is
normal, and will disappear after a short period
of use.
1. Carefully remove the heater from the plastic
bag and carton.Place the heater on a level
surfaceinastableuprightposition.Make
certainthepowerswitchisinthe“OFF”
position.
2. Unwind the power cord and plug your radiant
heaterintoasocketoutlet.Ensurethatthe
voltageonthespecicationsplateisthe
same as in your home.
3. Turnthepowerswitch(locatedattheback
oftheheater)‘On’.Theheaterisinstandby
mode.
4. Turntheheater‘On’bypressingtheON/OFF
button on. The heater will begin to operate in
Low heating.
Pressthe“L/H”buttontoactivateLowheating
/Highheating.
5. Afteruse,Toturntheheater‘Off’pressthe
ON/OFFbutton.Turntheswitchoffatthe
backoftheunit,pulloutthepowercord.
Allow to cool before putting away.
Timer function
The timer allows you to set the length of time
from 1-6 hours. To use the timer,
Press “Timer” button to set the timer. Each press
of the button increases the time set by 1 hour,
you need to auto power off the heater(up to
6hours),thedisplaywillshinningtonishthe
setting.

4. Placeonenew3VCR2025batteryintothe
battery tray with the positive “+” side facing
up,observingthepolaritymarkings.Ifthe
battery is placed incorrectly, the remote
controlwillnotwork.CAUTION:Thereis
danger of malfunction if the battery is
replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type of battery.
5. Insertthebatteryholderintothebattery
compartment and ensure it is secured.
tighten the cover screw.
WARNINGS:
1. Please remove the battery if the unit will
not be used for a long period of time.
Use only the specied size and type of
battery.
2. Keep coin-sized button batteries and
devices out of sight and out of reach of
children.
3. Examine devices and make sure the
battery compartment is secure.
4. Dispose of used button batteries
immediately. Flat batteries can still be
dangerous.
5. If you suspect a child has swallowed
a button battery, immediately go to a
hospital emergency room.
6. Tellothersabouttheriskassociatedwith
buttonbatteriesandhowtokeeptheir
children safe.
Care and Cleaning
Always ensure the appliance has
cooled completely before cleaning and
maintenance.
• Always switch off the appliance and unplug
itfromtheelectricalsocketandwaitforitto
cool down before cleaning. Ensure that the
unitiscoolenoughtoworkon.
• Avoidcontactwithheatsurface/parts.
• Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan
heater. Keep the fan heater clean.
• Never spray with liquids or submerge the
appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Cleantheairinlet/outletgrillesfrequently.
Donotallowanyobjectstoenterairinletor
outletasthismaycauseelectricshock,reor
damage to the heater.
• Donotuseharshchemicalsorsolventsto
clean this product and avoid using abrasive
cleaning agents. Use a slightly dampened,
lint-free cloth to clean this appliance.
• Store the appliance in its original box to
protect it from dust in a dry place if it will not
be used for a long period of time.
Warning: NEVER immerses the unit, power
cord and plug in water or any liquid while
cleaning and never allow water to drip into
the appliance.
