own, unless constant supervision is
provided.

Warning: Do not place the heater on LONG
PILE CARPET OR FLOKATI RUGS. Use a heat
board if necessary.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, keep
textiles, curtains, or any other flammable
material a minimum distance of 1 m from
the air outlet.

1. Always position the heater in accordance with
the instructions.

accessible and located adjacent to, but not
above the heater.

animalsandinrmpersonscancomeinto

of a table or counter or let it touch any hot
surfaces.

other liquid for any reasons.

manufacturer.
Position Instructions
This heater must be placed on a hard, level, heat
resistantsurface.Whenpositioning,pleasekeep
the following points in mind:
• The heater requires no installation. It should
be used solely as a portable appliance. The
heater must always be used and stored in an
upright position.
• This heater must not be located immediately
below an electrical outlet.
• The heater MUST only directly be plugged in
toaxedDomesticPoweroutlet,DONOTuse
in conjunction with Extension cords , Power
BoardsorDoubleAdaptors,asthesecan
overheat when overloaded.
• Donotusetheapplianceinroomslessthan
4m2areas.
• Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects
atleast100cminfrontand50cmbehindthe
heater.Donothanganythingonorinfrontof
the heater.
• Neverpositiontheheaterclosetocurtains
or combustible materials such as furniture,
cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains
etc. Keep the appliance at least 100cm
(1m) from walls and any other combustible
materials.
• Neverpositionorusetheheaterinthe
immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub,
washbowls, swimming pool etc. where the
likelihoodofimmersionorsplashingcould
occur.
• Keep hearthrugs and other soft furnishings
away from the front of the heater. They could
obstruct the free flow of hot air and damage
both soft furnishings and heater.

Cautions:
Donotoperatetheapplianceonaninclined
place.Donotmovetheappliancewhilethe
appliance is switched on.
Inordertoavoidahazardduetoinadvertent
reseingofthethermalcutout,thisappliance
must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or connected to
acircuitthatisregularlyswitchedonandoby
the utility.
This heater is hot when in use or directly after
use.Toavoidburns,donotletbareskintouchhot
surfaces. Keep combustible materials such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtainswellawayfromtheheater.Donotdrape
laundry or any
other items over the heater.
At the end of the product’s serviceable life it
should be disposed of carefully and safely in
accordance with local authority regulations.

Before using your new heater, it is important that
you read and follow the instructions in this Use
andCarebooklet,evenifyoufeelthatyouare
quitefamiliarwiththisappliance.Findaplace
tokeepthisbooklethandyforfuturereference.
Aentionisdrawntosectiondealingwith
‘IMPORTANTSAFEGUARDS.’
This appliance has been designed to operate
from a standard domestic power outlet. It is not
intended for industrial or commercial use.
Assembly
Assemble the body frame and the base plate
together following the steps below:
Removethebuerflynutsfromthelowerpartof
the body frame.
Insert the power cord through the slot placed in
middle part of the base plate and then assemble
the body frame to the base plate.
Secure the body frame to the base plate using the
twobuerflynutspreviouslyremoved.Insertthe
power cord through the suitable slots and then
secure it using the clamp.

Thisheaterisedwithasafetytip-overswitch,
whichautomaticallyturnstheunitowhenit
is tilted or tipped over. Always ensure that the
heater is placed on flat, solid ground before
operating.
When operating the heater for the rst
time or after a period of prolonged storage
it is normal for the heater to emit a burning
smell, fumes and a lile smoke around the
Heating elements and Ceramic mounting
lugs. It requires only a few minutes of
(“Burn In”) time for the smell, fumes and
smoke to disappear and this “Burn In”
time should ideally be conducted in a well
ventilated area before moving the heater
to its intended position for ongoing use.

Operation
• Whenoperatingtheheaterforthersttime

Note: The heater can only be operated with
the primary Power /400W Switch pushed
to the ON (I) position, other switching
just the switches to (I) will not switch on
respective heating elements & Turn switch.

CareandCleaning
• Before cleaning, ensure that the heater is
switchedintheopositionandisunplugged
fromthesocket.
• Cleantheexteriorsurfacesoftheheaterwith
a dry, soft cloth.
• Neveruseanyformofdetergentsorsolvents
to clean the heater.
• Neverspraywithliquidsorsubmergeinliquids
or water.
• DONOTaempttocleantheinteriorofthe
heater.
• DONOTATTEMPTTOOPENTHECASEOFTHIS
HEATER at any time. There are no consumer
serviceable parts inside this unit.
• Whentheheaterisstoredduringtheo
season, neatly wind the power cord around
the base of the heater to prevent any damage
to the power cord.
Note: If the cordset of the appliance
becomes damaged discontinue use.
Disposal
Donotdisposeofpackagingortheproduct
throughyourhouseholdwaste!Theproductand
packagingaremadefromrecyclablematerials
(plastics, metals, paper).
If the product is no longer suitable for use dispose
of it in an environmentally friendly manner in
accordance with your local council.
