2. Additional neutral wire is required on certain load types and 2-Way
switching congurations.
3. The cable length between the two end point products must not exceed
40m, and the minimum cable size of 0.75mm².
4. When an Elements Electronic Dimmer is used as a 2-Waycontrolling device, both
device must be of the same type. Do not mix dierent dimmer types i.e. leading

For neutral connection to the Dimmer, refer to the specications for load types
that require a Neutral connection. If these loads are used without a Neutral
connection, the dimmer and lamp may not operate correctly.
For Mounting Boxes, the minimum depth required is 35mm. When using 2.5mm²
cables the minimum box depth required is 40mm.
Note:
When carrying out insulation resistance testing, rst disconnect the product.
Failing to do this could damage the product and couldalso give spurious
insulation readings.
Note:
Upon attaching new frontplate, the indication on the product may show erratic
operation i.e. rapid ashing. This is normal as the product is adapting the new
frontplate. This process may take up to 20 seconds.
Note:
In a single lamp installation it is recommended to connect neutral to the
electronic dimmer.

Troubleshooting
Unable to t frontplates to module
Please check if you are tting the correct frontplate to the correct module. The
frontplate must match the module exactly,e.g. 1 Gang Electronic Dimmer Frontplate
will only t a 1 Gang Electronic Dimmer Module. Please refer to the instructions for
tting and removing frontplates on page-3.
Connected Lamp does not turn ON or DIM
Firstly check the lamps have not expired.
Check connections and wiring to the device to ensure it has been
installed correctly.
Check the circuit, by inspecting other devices on the same circuit, to
ensure there is power input to the device.
Ring indicator ashes once every 3 seconds
This is indication of an overload. The Electronic Dimmer will resume normal
operation once the overload is removed,by switching o and on.
If you are facing a problem not listed here, please contact the MK technical team.
(Contact details are listed on the last page)
Notes:
1. Do not use loads of dierent types on the same circuit.
2. Not suitable for use with any other load type.
3. *Neutral connection is required. It is recommended toconnec t neutralwhenever possible to
extend the load handling capability of the dimmer.
