Selalu lepaskan steker dari stop kontak sebelum memasang atau melepaskan aksesoris.
MENGHUBUNGKAN PENGHISAP DEBU / VACUUM CLEANER
1. Memasang Kantong Debu (Dust Bag)
Jika penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner akan digunakan untuk membersihkan debu, maka filter
debu harus dipasang terlebih dahulu dengan cara sebagai berikut :
a. Buka Filter kain dan bersihkan dari debu.
b. Lepaskan motor housing dengan menarik penjepit ke atas, lalu turunkan motor housing serta
letakkan pada tempat yang rata. Pasang filter debu ke Air Inlet Holder.
c. Setelah filter debu terpasang, pasang kembali motor housing pada body dan kencangkan
dengan menekan penjepit ke bawah.
2. Memasang atau melepaskan Pipa Fleksibel
Memasang:
PERHATIAN :
-Jika penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner digunakan untuk membersihkan benda cair maka
kantong debu tidak perlu dipasang/digunakan.
-Ganti Nozzle dangan Nozzle Water/Air.

Hubungkan pipa fleksibel ke dalam lubang masuknya udara /Air Inlet. Lalu tekan sampai
terdengar bunyi “klik”.
Melepaskan:
Lepaskan steker dari stop kontak sebelum melepaskan pipa fleksibel dari lubang masuknya
udara. Tekan tombol Hose Grip pada pipa fleksibel kemudian tarik untuk dilepaskan.
3. Memasang dan menyambung pipa tambahan dan aksesoris
a. Memasang pipa tambahan ke pegangan tangan.
b. Menyambung pipa tambahan.
c. Memasang sikat lantai ke pipa tambahan.
d. Menggunakan Sikat Lantai
Digunakan untuk membersihkan pada karpet atau lantai kayu.

1. Sebelum penggunaan, tarik/urai keluar kabel listrik seperlunya dan hubungkan steker ke stop
kontak.
2. Tekan tombol ON/OFF untuk menyalakan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner.
3. Atur daya hisap sesuai kebutuhan dengan cara menggeser tombol pengatur
daya hisap. Kemudian arah nozzle ke bagian yang akan dibersihkan.
4. Penggunaan sikat (Nozzle)
- Floor/Lantai /Karpet
Tekan tombol “sikat karpet” untuk membersihkan karpet
Tekan tombol “sikat lantai” untuk membersihkan lantai atau permukaan
yang keras.
- Dust/Debu
Digunakan untuk membersihkan furniture, blind, buku, kap lampu dan
rak. Kepala sikat bisa berputar sehingga memudahkan dalam pengoperasian.
- Gap/Celah
Digunakan untuk membersihkan celah, pojok/sudut, radiator, dan celah antara bantalan sofa.
- Water/Air digunakan untuk air atau benda cair.
5. Untuk penggunaan menyerap air atau cairan , pastikan filter motor/cylinder terlindungi dan
lepaskan kantong debu. Indikator bola tidak akan bekerja ketika cairan penuh didalam unit.
Buanglah cairan ketika cairan sudah penuh dan matikan power sebelumnya. Jika unit terjatuh
haruslah diperiksa terlebih dahulu sebelum digunakan untuk memastikan tidak ada air masuk ke
dalam unit.
6. Jika selesai digunakan matikan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner dengan menekan
tombol ON/OFF, kemudian gulung kembali kabel listrik.
Bagian 3 : Cara Penggunaan
Bagian 4 : Pemeliharaan

Selalu lepaskan steker dari stop kontak sebelum melakukan perawatan pada penghisap debu /
vacuum cleaner.
1. Mengeluarkan kotoran dari penampung debu/dust bag.
a. Setelah melepaskan pipa fleksibel, tarik penjepit ke atas untuk melepas motor housing.
b. Angkat motor housing dari body dan letakan pada tempat yang rata.
c. Lepaskan kantong debu dengan menarik bag collar dari air inlet holder, kemudian keluarkan
kantong debu dari body.
d. Lepaskan plastic holder dari bagian ujung kantong debu, kemudian keluarkan debu dan
bersihkan kantong debu.
e. Jika kantong debu sudah sangat kotor bersihkan dengan air dan
deterjen (khusus kantong debu dari bahan kain). Tepuk-tepuk
kantong debu didalam air deterjen lalu bilas dan angkat serta
keringkan ditempat yang teduh. Kantong debu tidak boleh diperas
karena dapat merusak struktur bahan kantong debu tersebut.
f. Pasang kembali plastic holder pada ujung kantong debu. Pasang kembali kantong debu pada
body jika penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner akan digunakan lagi untuk membersihkan debu
atau dilipat/dirapikan jika akan disimpan.
2. Membersihkan filter cylinder.
a. Lepaskan filter cylinder dengan memutar holder berlawanan arah
jarum jam.
b. Jika filter cylinder sudah sangat kotor, bersihkan dengan air atau
deterjen. Tepuk-tepuk filter cylinder didalam air deterjen lalu bilas
dan angkat serta keringkan ditempat yang teduh. Filter cylinder
tidak boleh diperas karena dapat merusak struktur bahan filter cylinder tersebut.
c. Jika filter cilynder sudah kering pasang kembali filter cylinder pada motor housing dan pasang
holder dengan memutarnya searah jarum jam.
3. Jangan menggunakan bubuk pengkilap, bubuk deterjen, bensin, acid, thinner, minyak atau
air panas untuk membersihkan seluruh bagian pada unit.
Bagian 5 : Tindakan Pencegahan
Jika kantong debu dan filter cylinder telah rusak, lakukan penggantian agar fungsi penyaringan
tetap maksimal.
- Jangan mengoperasikan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner tanpa dilengkapi dengan
penampung debu, jika penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner digunakan untuk membersihkan
debu.
- Jangan gunakan kantong debu, jika penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner digunakan untuk
membersihkan benda cair.

Tindakan-tindakan dasar pencegahan harus selalu diperhatikan ketika Anda menggunakan
penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner ini :
-Bacalah seluruh petunjuk yang ada dengan seksama dan perhatikan ilustrasi gambar-gambar
yang ada sebelum mengoperasikannya.
-Periksalah apakah voltase yang tertera pada penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner sesuai dengan
voltase di rumah Anda. Jika tidak sesuai, hubungi Service Center MODENA untuk keterangan
lebih lanjut.
-Jangan meninggalkan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner dalam keadaan terhubung dengan
listrik. Selalu mencabut kabel listrik dari stop kontak di dinding jika tidak digunakan.
-Untuk mencegah terjadinya resiko tersengat listrik, jangan menggunakan di luar rumah atau
di tempat terbuka dan jangan meletakkan/mencelupkan kabel listrik atau steker ke dalam air atau
cairan lainnya.
-Pengawasan yang ketat diperlukan jika penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner ini digunakan dekat
dengan anak-anak.
-Jangan mengoperasikan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner apabila kabel listrik atau stekernya
rusak, tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya, penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner terjatuh atau
mengalami kerusakan karena sesuatu hal. Bawalah ke Service Center kami untuk dilakukan
pemeriksaan & pengujian, pengaturan kembali fungsi eletrikal atau mekanikal serta perbaikan
seperlunya.
-Penggunaan perlengkapan/peralatan tambahan yang tidak direkomendasi dan disediakan oleh
produsen dapat menimbulkan terjadinya kebakaran, resiko tersengat listrik/korsleting dan
kerusakan pada penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner Anda.
-Diperlukan perhatian khusus jika digunakan pada anak tangga.
-Jika lubang untuk udara masuk, mulut pipa, atau pipa Teleskopik tersumbat, penghisap debu /
vacuum cleaner harus dimatikan segera. Angkatlah benda yang menghalangi sebelum
menyalakan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner kembali.
-Jangan mengoperasikan penghisap debu / vacuum cleaner terlalu dekat
dengan alat-alat pemanas seperti kompor, puntung rokok, dsb.
-Sebelum Anda menghubungkan steker ke stop kontak di dinding,
pastikan tangan Anda kering.
-Sebelum Anda memulai menggunakan penghisap debu / vacuum
cleaner, angkatlah benda yang besar atau tajam pada lantai untuk
mencegah kerusakan pada filter.
-Jika Anda ingin mencabut steker dari stop kontak di dinding, cabutlah
pada bagian steker dan bukan pada kabelnya. Jika terjadi kerusakan,
kedua kabel dan steker harus diperbaiki oleh teknisi yang berkualifikasi.

bila terjadi gangguan pengoperasian :

CONNECTING THE VACUUM CLEANER
1. Installing Dust Bag
Before using the vacuum cleaner to remove dust, install the dust bag as follows:
a. Open the dust bag and clean it, then install the plastic holder at the opening end of the
dust bag.
b. Remove the motor housing by pulling the clasp upwards. Demount the motor housing and put
it down on an even surface. Install the dust bag by pressing the end of the Bag Collar to the
Air Inlet Holder.
d. After the dust bag is properly installed, mount the motor housing onto the body and secure it
by pushing the clasp downwards.
Part 2 : Installation
ATTENTION:
-Do not forget to always remove the plug from the socket before installing or
removing accessories.
-Dust bag is not needed if the vacuum cleaner is to be used on liquid
substance.
-In that case, change the nozzle with the water vacuum nozzle.

2. Installing or Removing Flexible Pipe
Installing :
Connect the flexible pipe to the air inlet until it clicks.
Removing:
Unplug the power cord from the outlet before releasing the flexible pipe from the air inlet.
Press the Hose Grip button on the flexible pipe and pull to release.

1. Before usage, pull / detangle the power cord as necessary and connect the power
cord head to the outlet.
2. Press button ON/OFF to start the unit.
3. The vacuum power can be arranged according to needs by
turning the vacuum power button according to needs. Use the
nozzle on the part to be cleaned.
4. Usage of nozzle
- Floor /Carpet
Press the “carpet” button to clean the carpet. Press the “floor
brush” button to clean the floor or hard surface.
- Dust
Used to clear the furniture, blind, book, lampshade and shelf.
The brush nozzle can rotate to ease operations.
- Gap
Used to clean the gap, corner, radiator and space between the cushions.

- Water/used for water or liquid substance.
5. To use absorb water or liquid, make sure the motor filter cylinder is secured to the motor
housing and remove the dust bag. Indicator ball will not work when full of liquid inside the unit.
Dispose of the liquid when the fluid is full and switch off the power before. If the unit falls
should be inspected before use to make sure no water gets into the unit.
6. After usage, turn off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF button and reroll
the power cord.
Always unplug the power cord from the outlet before performing maintenance on the
vacuum cleaner.
1.Remove the dust from the dust bag
a. After releasing the flexible pipe, pull the clasp upwards to take off the motor housing.
b. Remove the motor housing from the body and put it on an even
surface.
c. Release the dust bag by pulling the collar bag from the air inlet
holder and clean the dust bag.
d. If the dust bag is very dirty, clean the water and detergent
(specifically dust bag made of cloth).
e. Tap the dust bag while submerging it in the detergent water then
rinse and lift it and dry it under a shelter. Do not squeeze the bag
to avoid compromising the dust bag material’s integrity.
f. Reattach the plastic holder at the end of the dust bag. Reinstall the dust bag on the
body if the vacuum cleaner is to be used to clean the dust or folded and stored.
2. Cleaning the cylindrical filter
a. Clean the cylindrical filter by rotating the holder
counterclockwise.
b. If the cylindrical filter is very dirty, clean with water or
detergent. Tap the cylindrical filter while submerging it in the
detergent water then rinse and lift it and dry it under a
shelter. Do not squeeze the cylindrical filter to avoid
compromising the material’s integrity.
c. When the cylindrical filter has dried out completely, reinstall
the cylindrical filter on the motor housing and install the holder by rotating it
clockwise.
3. Do not use shining powder, detergent powder, gasoline, acid, thinner, oil or hot
water to

the efficiency of filtering function.”
- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner without dust bag if the vacuum cleaner is
used to vacuum dust.
- Do not use the dust bag if the vacuum cleaner is used to vacuum liquid
substances.

Perform the following preventive measures before operating the vacuum cleaner :
-Read all instructions thoroughly and pay attention to the illustrations before operating the
vacuum cleaners.
-Check the voltage specifications on the vacuum cleaner, does it match the voltage in your
house. If it doesn’t match, contact the MODENA Service Center for further information.
-Do not leave the vacuum cleaner while still connected to power. Always unplug the power cord
from the wall outlet if the vacuum cleaner is not used.
-To avoid electric shock, do not use the vacuum cleaner outside the house or out in the open
and do not put / submerge the power cord or outlet in the water or liquid substance.
-Tight supervision is required if vacuum cleaner is used around children.
-Do not operate the vacuum cleaner if the power cord or outlet is damaged, dysfunctional, taking
fall damage or broken. Take it to our Service Center for inspection & testing, rearrangement of
electrical or mechanical functions and necessary repairs.
-Usage of additional equipments or tools without recommendations and supplied by the
manufacture may result in fire, electric shock / shortage and damage to the vacuum cleaner.
-Special attention is required for use on stairs.
-If the air inlet, pipe nozzle or telescopic pipe is obstructed, immediately deactivate the vacuum
cleaner and clear the obstruction before restarting it.
-Do not operate vacuum cleaner close to heat sources such as stove,
cigarette buds, etc.
-Make sure you plug the power cord to the wall outlet with dry hands.
-Remove large or sharp objects on the floor before using the vacuum
cleaner to avoid damages to the filter.
-If you wish to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, pull the cord
head, not the cord. Damaged cord and plug must be repaired by a
qualified technician.
