Installation Guide
1For safety, make sure to turn the
power supply o in the installation area.
2Remove your current thermostat to
be able to see the wiring. Locate the C
(also known as COM) and W (also known
as NO) wires, these are the control wires.
You will need these wires for momit
Smart Thermostat to work. If you don’t
have these wires, you will have to install
them. Once you have done this, proceed
with the installation.

4
3Open momit Smart Thermostat. To do
so, insert the tip of a flathead screwdriver
into the openings found at the bottom.
4Gently press the openings while
prying. Make a hinge movement to finish
opening the thermostat case without
forcing the connection pins.
5Remove the back plate, you will see
several openings in which the fixings of
the thermostat to the wall will go.

5
6Position the back plate on the wall.
Make sure that none of the labels fall out
when attaching the wall plate. Insert the
screws and tighten them up. Now you
can begin to connect the wires.
7Below you can find the wiring
diagram for heat and cooling systems.
The heating system diagram shows the
connection between thermostat and
heating system (C and W to T1 and T2).
The cooling system diagram shows the
connection between cooling system,
Dry Contact and thermostat. The
thermostat and Dry Contact connect
through the C2 and Y terminals, while
the Dry Contact connects to the cooling
system through the cables that were
connected to your previous thermostat.
This will vary depending on the cooling
system brand.
Both systems connect to the power
supply through L and N.

6
8Introduce the existing wires through
the hole in the center of the back plate.
9Using a screwdriver put the wires
in proper position, taking the marks
inside the plate into consideration. It is
important that the exposed wires are
pushed back close to the wall opening
and are as tight as possible.
10 Now you can close momit Smart
Thermostat. To close the plates properly,
place the top and bottom parts and
then press gently until the tabs at the
bottom of the plates make a
clicking sound. This means it has been
wedged in properly.
11Now you can turn the power supply
back on and continue with the momit
Smart Thermostat setup.

7
The first time you connect your momit Smart
Thermostat, a series of screens will appear,
which will take you through the initial device
setup.
