2Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromagnetische
Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Niederspannungsricht-
linie 73/23/EWG.
Beachten Sie unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
●Bei einerAussenmontage ist ein wetterfester Netzanschluss
vorgeschrieben. Der Anschluss darf deshalb nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
●Die in dem Gerät entstehende Wärme wird durch einen Lüfter
nachaußen geblasen. Decken Sie darum die Lüftungsschlitze
des Gehäuses nicht mit irgendwelchen Gegenständen ab.
●Stecken Sie nichts durch die Lüftungsschlitze! Dabei kann
es zu einem elektrischen Schlag kommen.
●Während des Betriebs wird der Scheinwerfer sehr heiß. Das
Gerät nicht berühren — Verbrennungsgefahr!
Keine leichtentzündlichen Objekte in der Nähe plazieren —
Brandgefahr!
Achtung! Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-
nung (230V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie selbst Ein-
griffe im Gerät vor. Durch unsachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht
die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages. Au3erdem erlischt
beim Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher Garantieanspruch.

●Schützen Sie den Scheinwerfer vor zu großer Kälte und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich
- 20°C bis +60°C).
●Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und trennen Sie es
sofort von der Netzspannung, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netzanschluss-
leitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Verdacht auf ei-
nen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in eine
Fachwerkstatt.
●Eine beschädigte Netzanschlussleitung darf nur durch den
Hersteller oder eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt ersetzt wer-
den.
●Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der
Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker an.
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, wei-
ches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig montiert,
falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine
Garantie für das Gerät und keine Haftung für daraus resultie-
rende Sach- oder Personenschäden übernommen werden.
●Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen wer-
den, übergeben Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Infrarot-Scheinwerfer ist speziell für den Einsatz in Video-
Überwachungsanlagen konzipiert. Er schaltet sich beim Un-
terschreiten der Umgebungshelligkeit von 10Lux automa-
tisch ein und bei entsprechend ansteigender Helligkeit wieder
aus. Der Einsatz kann im Innen- und bedingt im Außenbe-
reich erfolgen (Schutzart IP33 = regengeschützt bis zu einem
Einfallwinkel von 60° abweichend von der Senkrechten). Der
IR-Scheinwerfer ist durch die Lüftungsschlitze auf der Unter-
seite nicht rundum spritzwassergeschützt!
Als Überwachungskamera muss eine infrarotlichttaugliche
Schwarzweiß-CCD-Kamera verwendet werden (Lichtempfind-
lichkeit min. 0,5Lux). Farbkameras sind nicht für Infrarotlicht-

beleuchtung geeignet. Der Öffnungswinkel des Kameraobjek-
tivs sollte nicht größer als der Abstrahlwinkel des Scheinwer-
fers (max. 65°) sein. Anderenfalls erscheinen die Bildränder
dunkel. Beim Außeneinsatz wird für die Kamera ein Auto-Iris-
Objektiv mit einer Lichtstärke von 1:1,4 empfohlen.
4Installation
Bei derAuswahl des Montageplatzes folgende Punkte beach-
ten:
a. Beim Außeneinsatz wird eine Montage an regengeschütz-
ter Stelle empfohlen (z.B. unter einem Dachvorsprung).
Die Scheinwerferhalterung (5) immer auf eine waage-
rechte Fläche montieren. Es darf kein Wasser durch die
Lüftungsschlitze (3) gelangen!
b. Es wird eine Montagehöhe von ca. 3 bis 4m empfohlen.
Eine höhere Montage ergibt eine schlechtere Ausleuch-
tung.
c. Ist an der Kamera ein Bewegungsmelder angeschlossen,
sollte die Kamera ca. 3m vom IR-Scheinwerfer montiert
werden. Durch das Infrarotlicht angelockte Insekten kön-
nen so keinen Fehlalarm auslösen.
1) Den Scheinwerfer von der Halterung abschrauben, und
die Halterung an geeigneter Stelle montieren. Ansch-
ließend den Scheinwerfer wieder an die Halterung schrau-
ben.Warnung: Nur die Originalschrauben verwenden. Es
liegen zwei Ersatzschrauben bei. Längere Schrauben
können mit netzspannungsführenden Teilen in Be-
rührung kommen und dadurch zu einem lebensge-
fährlichen elektrischen Schlag führen!
2) Den Scheinwerfer und die Kamera auf den gewünschten
Überwachungsbereich ausrichten. Nach dem Einstellen
der Scheinwerferneigung die Montageschrauben (4) an-
ziehen.
3) Den Scheinwerfer an das 230-V-Netz anschließen. Bei ei-
ner Außenmontage ist ein wetterfester Netzanschluss vor-
geschrieben. Der Anschluss darf deshalb nur durch Fach-
personal erfolgen.

5Funktionstest
Das vom Scheinwerfer abgestrahlte Licht liegt im Infrarot-
bereich (Wellenlänge 850nm) und kann deshalb vom mensch-
lichenAuge nicht wahrgenommen werden. Im Betrieb ist ledig-
lich ein rötliches Glimmen der einzelnen LEDs sichtbar. In
ruhiger Umgebung ist außerdem der interne Lüfter zu hören.
1) Der Scheinwerfer muss mit der Netzspannung verbunden
sein.
2) Zum Funktionstest bei Tageslicht den Lichtsensor (2) ab-
decken (z.B. mit schwarzem Karton, die Verdunklung
durch eine Fingerkuppe ist nicht immer ausreichend).
3) Nach der Einschaltverzögerung von wenigen Sekunden
sollte der Scheinwerfer einschalten:
— das Umschaltgeräusch vom Relais ist zu hören
— das Lüftergeräusch ist hören
— die LEDs glimmen rötlich
4) Bei ausreichender Dunkelheit ist die Funktion am besten
über die Kamera zu testen.

2Safety Notes
This unit corresponds to the directive for electromagnetic
compatibility 89/336/EEC and the low voltage directive
73/23/EEC.
Please observe the following items in any case:
●For outside mounting a weatherproof mains connection is
compulsory. The connection must only be carried out by
authorized, skilled personnel.
●The heat being generated in the unit is blown by a fan to the
outside. Therefore, the vents of the case must not be
covered with any objects.
●Do not insert or drop anything into the vents! This could re-
sult in electric shock.
●During operation the floodlight becomes very hot. Do not
touch the unit — danger of burning!
Do not place any objects near it — fire hazard!
●Protect the floodlight against too much cold and heat (ad-
missible ambient temperature range
- 20°C up to +60 °C).
●Do not set the power supply unit into operation, and imme-
diately disconnect it from the mains voltage if:

Leave servicing to skilled personnel only. Inexpert handling
may cause an electric shock hazard. In any case the unit
must be repaired by skilled personnel.

1. damage at the unit or mains cable can be seen,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar acci-
dent,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by authorized, skilled
personnel.
●Adamaged mains cable must only be replaced by the
manufacturer or authorized personnel.
●Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the mains plug
from the mains socket, always seize the plug.
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means chemi-
cals or water.
●No guarantee for the unit and no liability for resulting da-
mage to property or resulting personal injuries will be ac-
cepted if the unit is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is not mounted or operated correctly or not re-
paired in an expert way.
●If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to
a local recycling plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
●Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appli-
ance may not correspond with the coloured markings iden-
tifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be
connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked
with the letter E or by the earth symbol , or coloured
green or green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured
black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with the letter Lor coloured
red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.

3Applications
The infrared floodlight has especially been designed for video
monitoring systems. It switches on automatically if the am-
bient brightness drops below 10lux and switches off if the
brightness increases correspondingly. It can be used indoors
and in a restricted way outdoors (safety class IP 33 = rain-pro-
tected up to an angle of incidence of 60° deviating from the
vertical). Due to the vents at the bottom side the IR floodlight
is not all-round splashproof!
Ablack and white CCD camera suitable for infrared must be
used as monitoring camera (sensitivity min. 0.5lux). Colour
cameras are not suitable for infrared light illumination. The
opening angle of the camera lens should not be larger than the
radiation angle of the floodlight (max. 65°). Otherwise the ed-
ges of the picture appear darkened. For outdoor applications
an automatic iris lens with an aperture of 1:1.4 is recom-
mended for the camera.
4Mounting
When choosing the mounting place please observe the
following items:
a. For outdoor applications mounting in a rain-protected
place is recommended (e.g. below a projecting part of a
roof). Always mount the floodlight bracket (5) to a horizon-
tal area. It must be secured that no water is able to pene-
trate through the vents (3)!
b. A mounting height of approx. 3 to 4m is recommended.
Higher mounting results in a poorer illumination.
c. If a motion detector is connected to the camera, the ca-
mera should be mounted approx. 3m from the IR flood-
light. Thus, insects attracted by the infrared light cannot
trigger a false alarm.
1) Screw off the floodlight from the bracket, and mount the
bracket to a suitable place. Then screw the floodlight to the
bracket again.
Warning: Only use the original screws. Two replace-
ment screws are included in the delivery. Longer
screws can get into contact with mains voltage carry-
ing parts and thus lead to a lethal electrical stroke!
2) Align the floodlight and the camera to the desired monitor-

ing range. After adjusting the floodlight inclination, tighten
the mounting screws (4).
3) Connect the floodlight to the 230V mains. For outside
mounting a weatherproof mains connection is compulsory.
Therefore, the connection must only be carried out by
autorized, skilled personnel.
5Functional Test
The light radiated by the floodlight is within the infrared range
(wavelength 850nm) and can therefore not be perceived by
the human eye. During operation only a reddish glowing of
the individual LEDs is visible. In quiet surroundings the inter-
nal fan can additionally be heard.
1) The floodlight must be connected to the mains voltage.
2) For the functional test with daylight, cover the light sensor
(2) – e.g. by black carton, darkening by a finger tip is not
always sufficient.
3) After the switch-on delay of a few seconds the floodlight
should switch on:
— the switching noise of the relay can be heard
— the fan noise can be heard
— the LEDs glow in reddish colour
4) With sufficient darkness the function can best be tested via
the camera.

2Conseils d’utilisation
Cet appareil répond à la norme 89/336/CEE relative à la
compatibilité électromagnétique et à la norme 73/23/CEE
portant sur les appareils à basse tension.
Respectez scrupuleusement les points suivants :
●Pour une installation en extérieur, veillez à effectuer un
branchement résistant aux intempéries. Le branchement
ne doit être effectué que par un technicien habilité.
●La chaleur dégagée par l’appareil doit être correctement
évacuée. Les ouïes de ventilation ne doivent en aucun cas
être obturées.
●Ne faites rien tomber dans les ouïes de ventilation, vous
pourriez vous électrocuter !
●Pendant son fonctionnement, le projecteur est très chaud.
Ne le touchez jamais, vous pourriez vous brûler !
Ne placez jamais aucun objet à proximité du projecteur.
Risque d’incendie !
Attention !
Cet appareil est alimenté par une tension en 230V~. Ne tou-
chez jamais l’intérieur de l’appareil car, en cas de mauvaise
manipulation, vous pourriez subir une décharge électrique
mortelle. Faites plutôt appel à un spécialiste. En outre, l’ou-
verture de l’appareil rend tout droit à la garantie caduque.

●Protégez le projecteur des froids importants et de la chaleur
(température de ambiante
- 20°C à +60 °C).
●Ne le faites jamais fonctionner et débranchez-le immédia-
tement lorsque :
1. des dommages sur l’appareil ou le cordon secteur appa-
raissent,
2. après une chute…, il y a un doute sur l’état de l’appareil,
3. des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.
Dans tous les cas, les dommages doivent être réparés par
un technicien spécialisé.
●Tout cordon secteur endommagé ne doit être remplacé que
par le constructeur ou un technicien habilité.
●Ne débranchez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le cordon sec-
teur ; retirez toujours le cordon secteur en tirant la prise.
●Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez un chiffon sec et souple, en
aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages
matériels ou corporels résultants si l’appareil est utilisé
dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il
n’est pas correctement monté, utilisé ou n’est pas réparé
par une personne habilitée, en outre, la garantie devien-
drait caduque.
●Lorsque l’appareil est définitivement retiré du service, vous
devez le déposer dans une usine de recyclage adaptée
pour contribuer à son élimination non polluante.
3Possibilités d’utilisation
Le projecteur infrarouge est spécialement conçu pour une uti-
lisation dans des centrales de surveillance : il s’allume auto-
matiquement lorsque la luminosité ambiante est inférieure à
10 Lux et s’éteint lorsque cette dernière augmente. Il peut être
utilisé en intérieur ou en extérieur sous certaines conditions
(classe de protection IP 33 = protection contre la pluie jusqu’à
un angle de 60° par rapport à la verticale). Le projecteur in-
frarouge n’est pas protégé contre les éclaboussures dans
sa totalité à cause de la présence sur la face inférieure des
ouïes de ventilation.
Vous pouvez utiliser une caméra CCD noir et blanc sensi-
ble aux infrarouges (sensibilité minimale 0,5Lux). Les

caméras couleur ne sont pas adaptées à un éclairage infra-
rouge. L’angle d’ouverture du l’objectif de la caméra ne doit
pas être supérieur à l’angle du projecteur (65° max.). Sinon
les bords de l’image sont noirs. Pour une utilisation en ex-
térieur, nous vous recommandons un objectif à obturation
électronique 1: 1,4 pour la caméra.
4Installation
Lors du choix du lieu de montage, veillez à respecter les points
suivants :
a. Pour une utilisation en extérieur, nous vous recomman-
dons une installation dans un endroit protégé de la pluie
(par exemple, sous une avancée de toit). Montez le sup-
port (5) toujours sur une surface plane. Assurez-vous que
les ouïes de ventilation (3) ne reçoivent d’eau !
b. Nous recommandons une hauteur de montage de 3 à 4m.
Si le projecteur est monté plus haut, l’éclairage sera de
moins bonne qualité.
c. Si un détecteur de mouvements est relié à la caméra, cette
dernière doit être montée à 3 mètres environ du projecteur.
Ainsi, les insectes attirés par la lumière infrarouge du pro-
jecteur ne pourront pas déclencher de fausses alarmes.
1) Dévissez le projecteur du support, placez ce dernier à l’en-
droit voulu puis revissez le projecteur sur le support.
Attention : Utilisez uniquement les vis d’origine. 2 vis
de rechange sont livrées. Des vis plus longues peuvent
entrer en contact avec des éléments porteurs de ten-
sion et ainsi conduire à une électrocution !
2) Dirigez le projecteur et la caméra vers la zone de surveil-
lance voulue. Aprés ajuster l’inclinaison du projecteur,
vissez ensuite les vis (4).
3) Reliez le projecteur au secteur 230V. Pour un montage en
extérieur, un câble secteur résistant aux intempéries est
recommandé. Le branchement ne doit être effectué que
par un technicien habilité.

5Test de fonctionnement
La lumière dégagée par le projecteur est dans la plage des in-
frarouges (longueur d’ondes 850 nm) et ne peut donc pas être
saisie par l’œil humain. Pendant le fonctionnement du projec-
teur, seules les LEDs émettent une lumière rouge. Dans un
environnement calme, le ventilateur interne est audible.
1) Reliez le projecteur à une tension.
2) Pour effectuer le test de fonctionnement avec la lumière du
jour, couvrez le capteur (2) par exemple avec un carton
noir (une obturation par les doigts n’est pas suffisante).
3) Après la temporisation d’allumage de quelques secondes,
le projecteur doit s’allumer :
— le bruit de commutation du relais est audible
— le bruit du ventilateur est audible
— les LEDs émettent une lumière rouge
4) Lorsque la pénombre est suffisante, le fonctionnement
peut être testé de manière optimale via la caméra.

Durante l’uso si devono osservare assolutamente i seguenti
punti:
●In caso di montaggio all’esterno è richiesto un collega-
mento rete resistente alle intemperie che deve essere ese-
guito solo da personale specializzato.
●Dev’essere garantita la libera circolazione dell’aria per dissi-
pare il calore che viene prodotto all’interno dell’apparecchio.
Non coprire in nessun modo le fessure di ventilazione.
●Non inserire oggetti nelle fessure di ventilazione e non farci
cadere niente. Altrimenti si potrebbe provocare una scarica
elettrica.
Attenzione!
Quest’apparecchio funziona con tensione di rete di 230V~.
Non intervenire mai al suo interno; la manipolazione scor-
retta può provocare delle scariche pericolose. Se l’appa-
recchio viene aperto, cessa ogni diritto di garanzia. Per l’as-
sistenza, rivolgersi all’esperto.

●Durante il funzionamento, il faro si riscalda moltissimo. Non
toccare il faro — pericolo di bruciature!
Non tenere nelle vicinanze oggetti infiammabili — pericolo
di incendio!
●Proteggere l’apparecchio dal freddo e dal caldo eccessivo
(temperatura d’impiego ammessa da
- 20°C a +60 °C).
●Non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio e staccare subito la
spina rete se:
1. l’apparecchio o il cavo rete presentano dei danni visibili;
2. dopo una caduta o dopo eventi simili sussiste il sospetto
di un difetto;
3. l’apparecchio non funziona correttamente.
Per la riparazione rivolgersi sempre ad una officina compe-
tente.
●Il cavo rete, se danneggiato, deve essere sostituito solo dal
costruttore o da un laboratorio autorizzato.
●Staccare il cavo rete afferrando la spina, senza tirare il cavo.
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto; non
impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
●Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio sbagliato, d’im-
piego scorretto o di riparazione non a regola d’arte non si
assume nessuna garanzia per l’apparecchio e nessuna re-
sponsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone
o a cose.
●Se si desidera eliminare l’apparecchio definitivamente,
consegnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per
il riciclaggio.
3Possibilità d’impiego
Il faro a raggi infrarossi è stato realizzato per l’impiego in im-
pianti di sorveglianza con videocamere. Si accende automati-
camente quando la luce ambiente cala sotto i 10 lux, e si riac-
cende con aumento della luminosità. Il faro può essere
utilizzato sia all’esterno che in interni (grado di protezione
IP33 = protetto contro la pioggia fino ad un’angolatura di ca-
duta di 60°). Per via delle fessure di ventilazione sul lato infe-
riore, il faro non è protetto completamente contro gli
spruzzi d’acqua!

Come videocamera di sorveglianza si deve impiegare una
videocamera b/n CCD adatta alla luce IR (sensibilità min.
0,5lux). Le videocamere a colore non sono adatte per luce ai
raggi IR. L’angolo di apertura dell’obiettivo non dovrebbe es-
sere maggiore dell’angolo di diffusione del faro (max. 65°),
altrimenti i bordi dell’immagine rimangono bui. Per l’impiego
all’esterno si consiglia un obiettivo con diaframma automatico
con luminosità 1: 1,4 per la videocamera.
4Installazione
Nella scelta del punto di montaggio occorre osservare i se-
guenti punti:
a. In caso di montaggio all’esterno è consigliabile il montag-
gio in un punto protetto dalla pioggia (p.es. sotto la
sporgenza del tetto). Montare il supporto (5) sempre su
una superficie orizzontale. Dev’essere escluso che l’acqua
penetri nelle fessure di ventilazione (3)!
b. Per il montaggio si consiglia l’altezza di 3 a 4 metri. In caso
di montaggio ad altezza maggiore, la resa diminuisce.
c. Se la videocamera è collegata con un sensore di movi-
mento, dovrebbe essere montata a circa 3 m dal faro per
evitare che gli insetti, attirati dalla luce IR, provochino un
allarme.
1) Togliere il faro dal suo supporto e montare il supporto in un
punto adeguato. Quindi rimettere il faro nella sua sede.
Attenzione: Usare solo le viti originali. Sono in dota-
zione due viti si scorta. Le viti più lunghe possono toc-
care parti sotto tensione e provocare una scossa
elettrica pericolosa!
2) Orientare il faro e la videocamera verso il campo da sor-
vegliare. Dopo aver regolato l’inclinazione del faro strin-
gere le viti di montaggio (4).
3) Collegare il faro con la rete 230V. In caso di montaggio
all’esterno è obbligatorio un collegamento resistente alle
intemperie. Perciò, il collegamento può essere eseguito
solo da personale specializzato.

5Test di funzionamento
La luce diffusa dal faro è a raggi infrarossi (lunghezza d’onda
850nm) e quindi non viene percepita dall’occhio umano. Du-
rante il funzionamento si vede solo una luce rossastra dei sin-
goli led. In ambienti silenziosi si sente anche il rumore del
ventilatore interno.
1) Il faro dev’essere collegato con la tensione di rete.
2) Per eseguire il test di funzionamento con la luce diurna co-
prire il sensore ottico (2) – p.es. con un cartone nero; non
è sempre sufficiente coprirlo con il dito.
3) Dopo il ritardo di inserzione di pochi secondi, il faro do-
vrebbe accendersi:
— si sente il rumore di commutazione del relè
— il sente il rumore del ventilatore
— i led emettono una luce rossastra
4) Nel buio è preferibile testare il funzionamento con la vi-
deocamera.

2Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Het toestel is in overeenstemming met EU-Richtlijn 89/336/
EEG voor elektromagnetische compatibiliteit en 73/23/EEG
voor toestellen op laagspanning.
Let eveneens op het volgende:
●Bij een buitenmontage is een weerbestendige aansluiting
op het electriciteitsnet verplicht. De aansluiting moet bijge-
volg door een vakman uitgevoerd te worden.
●De warmte die in het toestel ontstaat, wordt door een venti-
lator naar buiten geblazen. Dek de ventilatieopeningen van
de behuizing niet af met een of ander voorwerp.
●Steek niets in de ventilatieopeningen! Hierbij bestaat het
gevaar op een elektrische schok.
●Tijdens het gebruik wordt de schijnwerper zeer warm. Raak
het toestel niet aan — kans op brandwonden!
Let op!
De netspanning (230V~) waarmee het toestel gevoed wordt
is levensgevaarlijk! Open het toestel daarom niet, want door
onzorgvuldige ingrepen loopt u het risico van een elektrische
schok. Bovendien vervalt elke garantie bij het eigenhandig
openen van het toestel.
