Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung vor dem Betrieb gründ-
lich durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nach-
lesen auf.
Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Decken-Einbaulautsprecher sind für die Be-
schallung mit kleinen Leistungen konzipiert. Sie sind
für Sprache und Hintergrundmusik geeignet. Der EDL-
82/WS ist speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen
konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten und die
Serie SPE-82 speziell für Audio-Anlagen, die mit 4-Ω-
Lautsprechern betrieben werden.
Wichtige Hinweise für den sicheren Einbau
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
GDer Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
GVerwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder
Wasser.
GWird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie
für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.
Für den EDL-82/WS unbedingt zusätzlich die folgen-
den Warnhinweise beachten:
Installation
1) Einen Montageausschnitt mit einem Durchmesser
von 92 mm aussägen. Folgende Einbautiefe muss
verfügbar sein: EDL-82 = 98 mm; SPE-82 = 57 mm.
2) Die Anschlüsse zur Audio-Anlage herstellen. Den
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Spannung bis 100 V an der Anschluss-
leitung an.
Die Installation darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf eine richtige Anpassung der Leistung.
Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlossenen
Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht über-
schreiten. Eine falsche Anpassung führt zur Zerstö-
rung des ELA-Verstärkers!
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
Lautsprecher EDL-82/WS über den Transformator-
eingang anschließen: Die schwarze Ader und eine
der anderen farbigen Adern, die der gewünschten
Nennbelastung durch den Lautsprecher entspricht,
mit dem Ausgang des ELA-Verstärkers verbinden.
3) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern dar-
auf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt
werden (schwarze Ader = Minuspol).
4) Die Montagefedern nach oben bis zum Anschlag
biegen und in dieser Position festhalten.
Achtung, Verletzungsgefahr – die gespannten
Federn gut festhalten!
5) Die Federn in den Montageausschnitt einsetzen,
und den Lautsprecher vorsichtig in den Ausschnitt
gleiten lassen, bis er bündig anliegt.

Ceiling Mount Speakers
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to operating the speaker and keep them for later
use.
Applications
These ceiling mount speakers are designed for PA
applications of small power. They are suitable for
speech and background music. The EDL-82/WS is
especially designed for the use in PA systems operat-
ing with 100 V technique, and the series SPE-82 espe-
cially for audio system operated with 4 Ω speakers.
Important Notes for the Safe Installation
The speaker corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with .
GThe speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water.
GNo guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the speaker is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not expertly
mounted or correctly connected, or if it is over-
loaded.
For the EDL-82/WS it is imperative to observe addi-
tionally the following warnings:
Installation
1) Saw out a mounting hole with a diameter of 92 mm.
The following mounting depth must be available:
EDL-82 = 98 mm; SPE-82 = 57 mm.
2) Make the connections to the audio system. In case
of the EDL-82/WS connect the speaker via the
transformer input: Connect the black core and one
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
or a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a voltage of up to 100 V at
the connection cable.
The installation must be made by
skilled personnel only.
Observe the correct power matching. The total power
of all speakers connected must not exceed the ampli-
fier power. An incorrect power matching will destroy
the PA amplifier!

the desired rated power by the speaker, to the out-
put of the PA amplifier.
3) With the connection of several speakers observe
that all speakers are polarized in the same way
(black core = negative pole).
4) Bend the mounting springs upward up to the stop
and keep them in this position.
Attention, hazard of injury – firmly hold the
springs bended!
5) Insert the springs into the mounting cutout and let
the speaker slide carefully into the cutout for a flush
fitting.

Possibilités dʼutilisation
Ces haut-parleurs de plafond PA sont conçus pour des
sonorisations de petites puissances et bien adaptés
pour la musique dʼambiance et les discours. Le
EDL-82/WS est spécialement développée pour une
installation dans des systèmes de sonorisation PA,
fonctionnant en ligne 100 V ; la série SPE-82 est spé-
cialement conçue pour les installations audio fonction-
nant avec des haut-parleurs en 4 Ω.
Conseils de sécurité
Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives néces-
saires de lʼUnion Européenne et porte donc le sym-
bole .
GLe haut-parleur nʼest conçu que pour une utilisation
en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de projections
dʼeau, des éclaboussures, dʼune humidité dʼair éle-
vée et de la chaleur (plage de température de fonc-
tionnement autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).
GPour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec
et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou dʼeau.
GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le haut-
parleur est utilisé dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas correctement ins-
tallé ou branché, ou sʼil y a surcharge ; en outre, la
garantie deviendrait caduque.
Pour le EDL-82/WS, respectez supplémentairement
les notes dʼavertissement suivants :
Montage
1) Découpez dans le plafond un trou de diamètre
92 mm. La profondeur de montage suivante doit être
disponible : EDL-82 = 98 mm ; SPE-82 = 57 mm.
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une ten-
sion de contact dangereuse jusquʼà
100 V est présente au câble de bran-
chement. Seul un personnel qualifié
peut effectuer lʼinstallation !
Veillez à respecter lʼadaptation correcte de la puis-
sance. La somme des puissances de tous les haut-
parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de
lʼamplificateur. Une adaptation incorrecte peut en-
dommager lʼamplificateur Public Adress.
Lorsque le haut-parleur est définitivement
retiré du service, vous devez le déposer dans
une usine de recyclage adaptée pour contri-
buer à son élimination non polluante.
2) Effectuez les branchements à lʼinstallation audio.
Pour le EDL-82/WS, reliez le haut-parleur via lʼen-
trée transformateur : connectez le conducteur noir
et un conducteur dʼune autre couleur, correspon-
dant à la puissance nominale par le haut-parleur, à
la sortie de lʼamplificateur PA.
3) Lorsque plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés,
veillez à ce que les haut-parleurs aient tous la
même polarité (conducteur noir = pôle moins).
4) Pliez les ressorts de montage vers le haut et main-
tenez-les dans cette position.
Attention : danger de blessures, maintenez les
ressorts pliés fermement !
5) Insérez les ressorts dans le trou de montage et
faites glisser, avec précaution, le haut-parleur jus-
quʼà ce quʼil soit au même niveau.

Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti istru-
zioni prima della messa in funzione e di conservarle
per un uso futuro.
Possibilità dʼimpiego
Questi altoparlanti per il montaggio in soffitti sono stati
realizzati per la sonorizzazione a bassa potenza.
Sono adatti per la voce e per la musica di sottofondo.
La EDL-82/WS è prevista specialmente per lʼimpiego
in impianti PA con uscita audio 100 V, mentre la serie
SPE-82 è adatta per impianti audio che lavorano con
altoparlanti di 4 Ω.
Avvertenze di sicurezza
Lʼaltoparlante è conforme a tutte le direttive richieste
dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .
GLʼaltoparlante è previsto solo per lʼuso allʼinterno di
locali. Proteggerlo dallʼacqua gocciolante e dagli
spruzzi dʼacqua, da alta umidità dellʼaria e dal calore
(temperatura dʼimpiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
GPer la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;
non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o
acqua.
GNel caso dʼuso improprio, di montaggio sbagliato, di
collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico dellʼaltopar-
lante, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose
e non si assume nessuna garanzia per lʼaltopar-
lante.
Per la EDL-82/WS si devono rispettare assolutamente
le seguenti avvertenze:
Installazione
1) Praticare unʼapertura con un diametro di 92 mm. La
profondità utile deve essere: 98 mm per EDL-82 e
57 mm per SPE-82.
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, al cavo
di collegamento è presente una
tensione pericolosa fino a 100 V.
Lʼinstallazione deve essere fatta
solo da personale qualificato.
Fare attenzione al corretto adattamento della po-
tenza. La somma delle potenze di tutti gli altoparlanti
collegati non deve superare la potenza dellʼamplifi-
catore. Lʼadattamento errato provoca la distruzione
dellʼamplificatore PA!
Se si desidera eliminare lʼaltoparlante defini-
tivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento
ad unʼistituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
2) Eseguire i collegamenti con lʼimpianto audio. Nella
EDL-82/WS eseguire il collegamento attraverso
lʼingresso del trasformatore: collegare il conduttore
nero e uno degli altri conduttori colorati, a seconda
della potenza desiderata per lʼaltoparlante, con lʼu-
scita dellʼamplificatore PA.
3) Se si collegano più altoparlanti fare attenzione che
la polarità sia uguale per tutti (conduttore nero =
negativo).
4) Spingere le molle di sostegno in alto fino allʼarresto
e tenerle ferme.
Attenzione a non farsi male – tener ben ferme le
molle tese!
5) Inserire le molle nellʼapertura di montaggio e spin-
gere lʼaltoparlante delicatamente in alto finché si
trova a livello del soffitto.
