Openthe sandwich toaster by undoing the
lockingcliponthehandleandraisingthe
upperhalfofthetoasterwiththe handle.
Beforeusingyoursandwichtoaster for the first
time,wash and dry the cooking plates. The
appliancemustbefullyclosedandfastenedfor
pre-heatingandcooking.
Prepareyour sandwich in advance.Forbest
resultslightlybutterthebread on the OUTSIDE;
donotcutthebreadinhalfbeforecookingyour
sandwich.
Donotuselow-fatspread products for
greasingsandwich plates or spreading onbread,
astheyarenotsuitableforthesepurposes.For
bestresults use vegetable oil or butter.
1Plugthetoasterintothemainssocketand
switchon.The red light will glow indicating
itis switched on.
2Whenthe orange light goes out this
showsthatthesandwichtoasterisheatedup
readyforuse.Pleasenotethatthislightwill
cycleon/offduring use.
3Nowopen the toaster andplacethe
sandwicheson the hot plates.
REMEMBER THE TOASTER PLATES
ARE VERY HOT.
Whenusing for the first timeyou may
noticea fine smoke haze being emitted from
theunit, this is due tothe‘bake in’ of some
ofthecomponentsandisnotharmful.
4To close the sandwich toaster squeeze the
twofront handles together,click the locking
clipinto position squeezing the bread slice.
Ensure it is firmly closed.
5Thesandwiches willtakeapproximately
5-7minutes to cook. However,this time
shouldbeusedasaguideonly,as cooking
timeswill vary depending ontypeofbread,
ingredientsand personalpreference.

100g/4ozmild cheddar thinly sliced

Combinetuna andmayonnaise.Season (to
taste)with salt and pepper.Spoon mixture onto 2
slicesof bread and spread out evenly.Divide the
cheesebetween the twoandcoverwith the
remainingslicesofbread. Place into sandwich
toaster, close lid and toast for approx 5-7 minutes.

Saltand pepper
50g/2ozmozzarella,grated

Mixtogethertomatoesand oregano,season
withsalt and herb pepper.Divide between2
slicesof bread, sprinkle over the mozzarellaand
coverwithremaining slices of bread. Place into
sandwichtoaster.Close the lid andtoast for

Vegetarian delight
