MOTION Wi-Fi Mini bridge

The MOTION Wi-Fi Mini bridge is the heart of your automated blinds network at home.
The bridge unlocks endless possibilities to operate blinds with the MOTION app.
Cloud connections with leading smart home applications enable voice control and a
variety of smart automation options.

Safety
WARNING: Important safety instructions. Follow all
instructions, since incorrect installation can lead to
severe injury.
Do not let children play with the blind and/or
remote control.
Take care that the blind can move freely and is
not blocked by any objects.
Do not paint the device.
Keep the device dry.
Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough
handling can break internal circuit boards.
Cleaning
Follow these general rules when cleaning the
outside of the device and its components:
Use a damp, soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting
moisture in openings.
Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, or
abrasives.
Service & Support
Do not perform repairs yourself. Do not attempt to
open the device or disassemble it. You run the risk
of electric shock and voiding the limited warranty.
No user-serviceable parts are inside.
Warranty Service
First follow the advice in this manual. If the product
appears to be damaged or does not function prop-
erly, go to your local dealer for instructions on how
to obtain warranty service.
Recycle
This marking indicates that this product should
not be disposed with other household wastes
throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled
waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote
the sustainable reuse of material resources. To
return your used device, please use the return and
collection systems or contact the retailer where the
product was purchased. They can take this product
for environmental safe recycling.

2. CONNECT THE BRIDGE TO A WI-FI NETWORK
Connect the bridge to a Wi-Fi network
An active internet connection is required to add the MOTION Mini bridge to your home Wi-Fi network.
Choose a location for the MOTION mini bridge in your home. Connect your smartphone or tablet to
your home Wi-Fi network to check the strength of the Wi-Fi signal at this location.
To avoid interference please make sure the MOTION bridge is located at least one meter away from
any other Wi-Fi devices, including your router.
Note: this item only works on a 2,4GHz Wifi network, not on a 5GHz WiFi network.
Please consult the manual of your router for settings.

Before adding a blind to the MOTION mini bridge, the end positions of the blind must be programmed
with a remote control.

Shortly press the program button on the blind. (Please see the manual of your motor to see
where the program button is located.) The blind will start stepping, indicating that program
mode is activated. Press the ‘pair’ button to connect the blind with your bridge.

Blind is not responding
Motor battery is empty Charge the motor. See the manual of your

Radio interference / shielding Make sure that the bridge/antenna of the
motor is out of the way from metal objects
The distance from the bridge to
the motor is too far Move the bridge closer to the blind
The bridge is turned off Power the bridge
Can not pair your bridge
Wrong password Start the setup wizard again and use the right password. The password is case
sensitive
Router does not give an IP
address to the bridge
Press and hold the reset button for 10
seconds. The center LED indicator will be
RED. Retry to add the bridge
Bridge is trying to connect with
5GHz .
Please consult the manual of your router to
temporarily turn off your 5GHz in the router
settings.

Veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING: Belangrijke veiligheids-
instructies. Volg alle instructies; onjuiste installatie
kan tot ernstig letsel leiden.
Laat kinderen niet met de raambekleding en/of
afstandsbediening spelen.
Zorg dat de raambekleding vrij kan bewegen en
niet door objecten wordt geblokkeerd.
Verf niet over het apparaat.
Houd het apparaat droog.
Laat het apparaat niet vallen en stoot en schud
er niet mee. Ruwe omgang kan de printplaten
beschadigen.
Reiniging
Volg deze algemene regels voor het reinigen van
de buitenkant en componenten van het apparaat:
Gebruik een vochtige, zachte, pluisvrije doek.
Voorkom dat er vocht in de openingen komt.
Gebruik geen spuitbussen, oplosmiddelen,
alcohol of schuurmiddelen.
Service en ondersteuning
Voer niet zelf reparaties uit. Probeer het apparaat
niet te openen of demonteren. U loopt het risico
op elektrische schokken. Ook kan de garantie
vervallen. Er zijn geen onderdelen waaraan de
gebruiker onderhoud kan uitvoeren.
Garantie
Volg eerst het advies in deze handleiding. Ga naar
uw lokale dealer voor instructies over hoe u service
op grond van de garantie kunt ontvangen als het
product defect lijkt of niet goed werkt.
Recycle
Dit icoon geeft aan dat dit product niet samen met
andere huishoudelijke apparaten mag worden
weggegooid in de EU. Om mogelijke schade aan
het milieu of de menselijke gezondheid te
voorkomen, moet het op verantwoorde wijze
worden gerecycled om duurzaam hergebruik van
materiële hulpbronnen te bevorderen. Om uw
gebruikte apparaat te retourneren, gebruikt u het
retour- en verzamelsysteem of neemt u contact
op met de retailer waar het product is gekocht. Zij

Verbind de bridge met een Wi-Fi netwerk
Een werkende internetverbinding is vereist om de MOTION Mini bridge toe te voegen aan je Wi-Fi
netwerk. Kies een locatie in je huis voor de MOTION Mini bridge. Verbind je smartphone of tablet
met je Wi-Fi netwerk om de sterkte van het signaal op deze locatie te controleren. Zorg ervoor dat
de MOTION Mini bridge ten minste één meter van andere draadloze apparaten, inclusief je router, is
verwijderd om storing te voorkomen.
Opmerking: dit item werkt alleen op een 2,4 GHz wifi-netwerk, niet op een 5 GHz WiFi-netwerk.
Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw router voor instellingen.

Klik op 'Add Bridge'
en volg de stappen in
de installatiewizard
om de bridge te instal-
leren.
Kies 'Edit' in de
rechterbovenhoek van
je scherm en open
'Instelling'.
Klik op je locatie
(MyHouse) om de
MOTION bridge toe
te voegen aan deze
locatie.
Er kunnen 5 verschil-
lende locaties worden
toegevoegd aan de
MOTION Blinds app.
Per locatie kunnen
er 3 bridges worden
toegevoegd.
2. VERBIND DE BRIDGE MET EEN WI-FI NETWERK

Voordat de raambekleding aan de MOTION Mini Bridge kan worden toegevoegd, moeten eerst de
eindposities van de raambekleding zijn ingesteld met een afstandsbediening.

Druk kort op de programmeerknop van de raambekleding. (Zie de handleiding van je motor
om te zien waar de programmeerknop zit.) Het rolgordijn maakt korte, draaiende bewegin-
gen, dit betekent dat de programmeermodus is geactiveerd. Druk op de 'pair' knop om de
raambekleding met de bridge te koppelen.
