When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Ensure the appliance is used on a firm, flat surface.
3. Avoid touching moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing as well as
spatulas and other utensils away from chopper blades during
operation, to prevent personal injury or damage to the appliance.
4. Unplug from electrical outlet when not in use, before putting on
or taking off parts, and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp plug and
pull it from electrical outlet. Never pull the cord.
5. Remove detachable shaft from the blender before washing the
blades or shaft.
6. Do not let any cord hang over the edge of the a table or counter.
Do not let cord contact hot surface, including stovetop.
7. Children do not understand the dangers associated with operating
electrical appliances. Never allow children to use this appliance.
8. Make sure the appliance is off, the motor has stopped completely,
and the appliance is unplugged from outlet before putting on or
taking off attachments, and before cleaning.
9. To reduce the risk of injury, never leave cutting blade on base
without first putting bowl properly in place.
10. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended
purpose as described in manual.
11. Do not use outdoors. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats.
12. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
13. When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or
make small quantities at a time to reduce spillage.
14. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
15. Be certain cover is securely locked in place before operating the

appliance.
16. When using extremely heavy loads, the appliance should not be
operated for more than 20 seconds at a time.
17. Do not use the blending shaft uninterrupted for longer than 25
seconds. Using the blending shaft without water uninterrupted
for longer than 25 seconds will lead to overheating of inner
bearing, which will cause deformation or melt of plastic parts.
18. Do not operate the appliance for longer than 1 minute at a time
as this can cause overheating. Allow to cool for at least 1 minute
between each use. Operating the blending shaft with water
continuously for longer than 1 minute will lead to overheating of
inner bearing, which will cause deformation or melt of plastic
parts. Overworking will also lead to overheating of the motor.
19. Never mix dry, thick or heavy mixtures for more than 15 seconds.
Stop operation and stir the ingredients before continuing. Allow
the motor to rest for 1 minute between each use.

OPERATING YOUR HAND BLENDER
1. To use the stick blender, insert the motor part into the blender
shaft and turn until it clicks into the lock position.
2. To use the chopper, insert the motor into the top of the chopper
attachment and turn to the lock position. Only then, press the
switch to begin.

EN CARE AND CLEANING
1. Remove the blending shaft from the motor body. Wipe the motor
body and top of the cover with a damp sponge or cloth. Dry it
immediately and thoroughly.
2. Do not use abrasive cleaners which could scratch the surface.
3. To clean the blending shaft, wash by hand in hot water using
mild detergent .Be mindful of the permanently mounted razor
sharp edges.
4. To simplify cleaning, rinse the prep bowl, cover, and blade
immediately after use, so that food will not dry onto them.
5. Wipe the underside of the chopper cover with a sponge or damp
cloth to remove any food.
6. Do not submerge the cover in water or put it in the dishwasher.
7. Avoid leaving the blades in soapy water where it could disappear
from sight.
8. Prep bowl blade is dishwasher safe, and the sharp blade can be
placed in the basket. Unload the dishwasher carefully to avoid
contact with the sharp blade.
9. Blades are extremely sharp - always handle with care.
Any other service should be performed by an authorized service
representative.

ou l’arbre du mélangeur-plongeur.
6. Ne pas laisser le cordon pendre d’une table ou d’un comptoir.
Ne pas laisser le cordon entrer en contact avec des surfaces
chaudes, y compris une cuisinière.
7. Les enfants ne peuvent comprendre les dangers liés à l’utilisation
d’appareils électriques. Ne jamais laisser un enfant utiliser cet ap
pareil.
8. S’assurer que l’appareil est éteint, que le moteur est entièrement
arrêté et que l’appareil est débranché de la prise électrique avant
d’ajouter ou d’enlever des pièces et avant de le nettoyer.
9. Pour réduire les risques de blessures, ne jamais laisser les lames
montées sur la base sans d’abord installer le bol adéquatement.
