USING THE APPLIANCE
Before using the appliance make sure the heating plate socket and the thermostat plug are dry.
1. Install the grease drip tray (9) on the appliance stand (8).
2. Put the heating plate with the thermostat socket on the appliance stand.
3. Grease the heating plate with edible fat.
4. If necessary, place the glass lid on the appliance stand and close it.
5. Insert the thermostat plug into the socket on the heating plate. Make sure the thermostat
knob is set to position “0”.
6. Plug in the appliance.
7. Set the thermostat knob (7) in suitable position (between 1 and 5). Thermostat red light (10)
comes on. The light goes out when the grill heats up to suitable temperature.
8. Holding the grip (2) open the glass lid (3) and place the products you want to grill on the
heating plate.
9. Close the lid.
10.At closing and opening the lid you should watch out for the steam coming from the appli-
ance, which is a natural effect of heat treatment.
11. During grilling the thermostat indicating lamp (10) will sequence - the thermostat will main-
tain suitable temperature.
12.Grease rendered from dish will drip onto the tray.
13.After grilling, turn the thermostat knob (7) to position “0”, unplug the appliance and leave
it to to cool down completely. Once the appliance has cooled down, empty the grease drip
tray.
NOTE! Allow the appliance to cool before disassembling.
Time of grilling depends on type of products you want to process. You can prepare meat, fish, shashlik, vegeta-
bles etc. Do not use metal cutlery since it can damage heating plates.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning (and after grilling), pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance
to cool down completely.
2. To protect against electrical shock do not clean the thermostat with water or immerse it in
other liquids. Clean the thermostat using smooth damp cloth.
3. Thoroughly wash the heating plate using damp cloth or towel. In case of larger contamina-
tion, remove the plate from the appliance and wash it under running water with some wash-
ing-up liquid. Be careful not to scratch the plate surface. After cleaning and reassembling the
plate allow it to dry completely.
4. Carefully empty the drip try.
5. Clean the drip tray and the glass lid using damp cloth or wash it in hot water with detergent
or in a dishwasher, after removing it from the appliance.
6. Wash the outside of the grill using damp cloth.
NOTE! To protect against electrical shock do not place wet plate in the appliance.
NOTE! Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids. Do not wipe the plate with acute, abrasive
cloths or sponges, as this can damage the heating surfaces!
