cooling air.

operate the generator
in any enclosed or

flow of the air is
restricted.Iftheairflow
is restricted it will
cause serious damage to the generator or engine and
may cause injury to people.The generator engine gives
off DEADLY carbon monoxide gas.

ALWAYS makesure generator isproperlygrounded.

NEVER usegaspiping as an electrical ground.

DO NOT place hands or fingers inside generator engine
compartmentwhenengineis running.

ALWAYS makesuregeneratorinstallationis accordancewith
national and local electrical codes

ALWAYS have a qualified electrician perform the generator
wiringinstallation.

NEVER powercablesor cords
lay in wate

stand in water
while AC power fromthe generator
isbeingtransfer to a load.

NEVER use a defective or frayed power cable. Check the
cableforcutsin the insulation.

NEVERuseaextensioncordthatisfrayedordamagedwhere
theinsulationhas been cut.

ALWAYS make certain that proper extension cord has been

The electrical voltage required to operate the generator can
cause severe injury or even death through physical contact
with live circuits.
Turn all circuit breakers OFF before
performing maintenance on the generator.

NEVER touch the hot exhaust
manifold, muffler or cylinder. Allow
these parts to cool before servicing
