Pleaseinstall thesoftwaresinaccordance withoursuggested
sequence:
1.InterVideoInstantON(Optional)
2.WindowsXPOperatingSystem
3.DriversunderWindowsXP
4.SystemControlManager(SCM)underWindowsXP
5.InterVideoHomeTheater
Inyourpackage you will find anInterVideoInstantONinstallation
CD. It isabootablediscforuserstoinstall InstantONtotheir
system.ThisLinux-basedapplication allowsyou tooperateyour
MEGAIII inA/VmodewithoutbootingintoMicrosoft’sWindows
XPoperatingsystem.To install theapplication,pleasemake sure
touseacompletelyemptyHDDorausedHDDwithatleast210MB
free space (non-partitionedspace).
Warning!
1.WindowsXPoperatingsystemmustbeinstalledprior
toothersoftwareinstallation (ExceptInstantON).
2.ThesystemisnotcompatiblewithanyVGAcard.The
InstantONapplication will stop respondingifaVGA
cardisinstalled.

Installation
You canchoosetoinstall theInstantONtoanemptyHDD ora
non-emptyHDD withatleast210MBnon-partitionedspace.
Option 1.Install toanemptyand non-partitionedHDD
1.Turnoff thesystembeforeinsertingtheinstallation CDin
theCD/DVD-ROMdrive.
2.Turnon thesystemand thesystemwill bootfromthe
installation CD. Make suretospecifyCD/DVD-ROMas
yourfirstbootdevice.
Option 2.Install toanon-emptyHDD
1.Pleasemake suretoleave atleast300MBfree space (non-
partitionedspace).
2.Turnoff thesystembeforeinsertingtheinstallation CDin
theCD/DVD-ROMdrive.Make suretospecifyCD/DVD-
ROMasyourfirstbootdevice.
3.Turnon thesystemand thesystemwill bootfromthe
installation CD.
4.Followtheon-screeninstructionstocompletetheinstallation.
Howtospecifyyourbootpriority:
a.Poweron thesystemand press Deletetoenterthe
BIOSSetup duringthePOSTprocess.
b.Pointto[AdvancedBIOSFeatures]and press Enter.
c.Set[FirstBootDevice]to[CD-ROM].
d.Finally,select[Save &Exit Setup]and press Enter
tosave theparametersand exit BIOS.

2. InstallingWindowsXP
To install theWindowsXPOperatingSystem,you canuseacom-
pletelyemptyorausedHDD. However,if you choosetousea
non-emptyHDD, pleaseremembertodeletetheoriginalpartition
tableinHDD and reserve atleast250MBnon-partitionedspace.
Installation
PleaserefertoyourMicrosoft User’sManualforWindowsXPOS
installation.
Warning:Backup yourusedHDD incasedataloss may
occurduringtheWindowsXPinstallation.

1.Turnoff all runningapplicationsbeforeyou install drivers
underWindowsXP.
2. InserttheattachedCDintotheCD/DVD-ROMdrive.
3.Whenyou see thefollowingDriversSetup Window, click
thedriver(e.g.Wireless Driver)tobeinstalledtoyoursystem.
