The mainboard supports IntelPentium4Prescott processor.The mainboard usesaCPUsocket
called LGA775.When you are installing theCPU, makesure toinstallthe cooler toprevent
overheating. If you donothavetheCPUcooler,contactyour dealer topurchaseandinstallthem
before turning on the computer.

LGA775 CPUand CoolerInstallation
When you are installing the CPU,makesure the CPUhasacooler attached onthe top toprevent
overheating.If you do nothavethe cooler,contact your dealer topurchaseand install them
before turning on the computer.Meanwhile,do notforgettoapplysomesilicon heattransfer
compound on CPUbeforeinstallingthe cooler for better heat dispersion.
Followthe stepsbelowtoinstallthe CPU&coolercorrectly.Wronginstallation will causethe
damageof your CPU& mainboard.
IntroductiontoLGA775 CPU
The pin-pad sideofLGA775CPU.The surfaceof LGA775 CPU.
Remember toapplysomesilicone heat transfer compound onitfor better heatdispersion.
1.The CPUsockethasaplasticcapon ittoprotectthe contactfromdamage.
Before you haveinstalledtheCPU, always cover ittoprotectthesocketpin.
2.Removethe cap fromlever hinge side.
3.The pinsofsocket reveal.
4.Open the loadlever.
5.Liftthe loadlever up and open theload plate.
6.AfterconfirmingtheCPUdirectionforcorrectmating,putdowntheCPUin
the sockethousingframe.Besuretograspontheedge oftheCPUbase.Notethatthe
alignmentkeys are matched.
7.Visuallyinspectifthe CPUisseated well intothe socket.Ifnot,takeoutthe
CPUwithpure verticalmotion andreinstall.
8.Cover the load plateontothe package.
9.Pressdownthe load lever lightlyontothe load plate,and then secure the
lever withthe hookunder retentiontab.
10.Align the holesonthemainboard withthe cooler. Pushdownthe cooler until
its four clips get wedged intothe holes ofthe mainboard.
11.Pressthe four hooksdowntofasten thecooler.Then rotatethe locking
switch(refer tothe correctdirectionmarkedon it)tolock the hooks.
12.Turn over the mainboard toconfirmthatthe clip-endsare
correctlyinserted.

The mainboard providestwo184-pinunbuffered DDR 266/DDR333 / DDR400 DDR SDRAM,
and supports thememory sizeupto2GB.Tooperateproperly, atleastone DIMM modulemust
be installed.
Install at leastone DIMM moduleon the slots.Memory modulescanbe installedon theslots in
anyorder.You can installeither single- or double-sided modulestomeet your ownneeds.
Installing DDR Modules
1.The DDR DIMM hasonlyone notchon the center ofmodule.The modulewill onlyfitinthe
right orientation.
2.InserttheDIMM memory modulevertically intothe DIMM slot.Then pushit inuntilthe
golden finger on the memory moduleisdeeplyinserted inthesocket.
3.The plasticclipat eachside ofthe DIMM slot will automaticallyclose.
PowerSupply
The mainboard supportsATXpower supplyforthe power system.Before inserting thepower
supplyconnector,alwaysmakesure that all components areinstalledproperlytoensure thatno
damagewill be caused.A300Worabovepower supplyissuggested.

Thisconnector allows you toconnecttoan ATXpower supply.To
connecttothe ATXpowersupply,makesure the plug ofthe power
supplyis inserted intheproper orientation and the pins are aligned.
