Beforeyouhaveinstalled theCPU,alwayscoverittoprotectthesocket
pin.
2.Removethecap fromleverhingeside.
3.The pinsofsocketreveal.
4.Open theloadlever.
5.Lift theloadleverupandopen theloadplate.
6.AfterconfirmingtheCPUdirection forcorrectmating,putdowntheCPUin
thesocket housingframe. Besuretograspontheedgeof theCPUbase.
Notethatthealignmentkeysarematched.
7.VisuallyinspectiftheCPUisseated well intothesocket. Ifnot, takeout
theCPUwithpureverticalmotionandreinstall.
8.Covertheloadplateontothepackage.
9.Press downtheloadleverlightlyontotheloadplate,andthen securethe
leverwiththehookunderretentiontab.
10.Align theholeson themainboardwiththecooler.Pushdownthecooler
until itsfourclipsgetwedged intotheholesofthemainboard.
11.Press thefourhooksdowntofastenthecooler.Then rotatethelocking
switch(refertothecorrectdirectionmarked on it)tolockthehooks.
12.Turnoverthemainboardtoconfirmthattheclip-endsarecorrectlyinserted.

Installing DDRIIModules
The memorymodulehasonlyonenotchonthecenterofmodule.Themodulewillonlyfitin the
rightorientation.
1. InserttheDIMMmemorymoduleverticallyintotheDIMMslot.Then pushitinuntilthegolden
fingeron thememorymoduleisdeeplyinserted inthesocket.
2. The plasticclipat eachsideoftheDIMMslot willautomaticallyclose.
Power Supply
The mainboardsupportsATXpowersupplyforthepowersystem.Beforeinsertingthepower
supplyconnector, alwaysmakesurethatallcomponentsareinstalled properlytoensurethatno
