hasaplasticcaponittoprotectthe
contactfromdamage.Beforeinstall-
ing theCPU,alwayscoverittopro-
tectthesocketpins.)
3. Raisetheloadleveruptoitsfull extent.
4. Opentheloadplate.
2. Removetheplasticcapfromtheload
plate.The pinsof thesocketreveal.
5. Afterconfirming theCPUdirection(indicatedbelowwithredcircles)forcorrect
mating, putdowntheCPUin thesockethousing frame. Besuretograsponthe
edgeof theCPUbase.Notethatthealignmentkeysarematched.
6. Visuallyinspect ifthe CPUisseatedwellintothesocket.If not, takeout the CPU
withpureverticalmotionand reinstall.
