mainboardusestwoCPUsocketscalledSocket604foreasyCPUinstallation. You
caninstallSINGLEorDUALCPUsontheboardtomeetyourownneeds.Keepthe
following pointsin mind beforeinstalling CPU(s):
1.If SINGLE CPUisintended,alwaysinstalltheCPUonthe CPU1 socket.
2. Toinstall DUAL CPUsonthe board,you mustuse thesametypeofCPUs
runningatthesameFSBfrequency.
Whenyouareinstalling theCPU, make suretheCPUhasaHeatSinkand
acooling fanattachedon thetop topreventoverheating. If youdonotfind the
HeatSinkand cooling fan,contactyourdealertopurchaseand install thembefore
turning onthecomputer.

Overheating will seriouslydamagethe CPUand system,always make
surethe coolingfancanworkproperlytoprotecttheCPUfrom
overheating.
The systemtemperatureneedstoremain under45°C.
Wehighlyrecommend thatthe directionofinletairshouldfollowthe
directionindicatedaboveforbettercoolingeffect.
Replacing theCPU
Whilereplacing the CPU,always turnoff the SSIpowersupplyor
unplug thepowersupply’spowercordfromgroundedoutletfirstto
ensurethe safetyofCPU.
