1.OverheatingwillseriouslydamagetheCPUandsystem.Alwaysmake
surethecoolingfancanworkproperlytoprotecttheCPUfromoverheating.
2.Makesurethatyouapplyan evenlayerofheatsinkpaste(orthermal tape)
between theCPUand the heatsinktoenhanceheatdissipation.
3.Whilereplacing theCPU,always turnoff the powersupplyorunplugthe
powersupply spowercordfromthegroundedoutletfirsttoensurethe
safetyofCPU.
The mainboardsupports Intel Dempsey/Woodcrest/Clovertown/Harpertown
processorsinSocket LGA771.When youareinstalling theCPU, makesurethe
CPUhasaheatsinkandacoolingfanattachedonthetoptoprevent
overheating. Ifyoudonothavetheheatsinkandcoolingfan,contactyourdealerto
purchaseand install thembeforeturning onthecomputer.
