1.0.0 Einleitung
• Diese Bedienungsanleitung muss dem Bediener jederzeit zur Verfügung stehen.
• Diese Betriebsanleitung soll es Ihnen erleichtern:
- den MULTIPICK KRONOS kennenzulernen,
- den MULTIPICK KRONOS bestimmungsgemäß zu verwenden,
- den MULTIPICK KRONOS optimal zu nutzen.
• Diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durchlesen!
Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise um den MULTIPICK KRONOS:
- sicher und
- sachgerecht zu betreiben.
• Ihre Beachtung ist die Gewähr für:
- die Sicherheit des Bedieners
- die Vermeidung von Gefahrenzuständen.
- den einwandfreien Betrieb des MULTIPICK KRONOS.
• Für Schäden und Betriebsstörungen, die sich aus der Nichtbeachtung dieser
Bedienungsanleitung ergeben, übernehmen wir keine Haftung.
1.1.0 Gewährleistung
Es gelten die Gewährleistungsbestimmungen, gemäß unseren allgemeinen
Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB), in der zum Zeitpunkt der Lieferung gültigen
Fassung.
1.2.0 Haftungsausschluss
• Eine Nutzung des MULTIPICK KRONOS ohne Sachkunde
bzw. Schulung / Einweisung ist nicht sinnvoll.
• Die Firma Multipick übernimmt keinerlei Haftung
für Schäden und Kosten, die durch unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch entstehen.
• Die Benutzung des MULTIPICK KRONOS ist ausschließlich
für den gewerblichen und legalen Gebrauch gestattet.

2.0.0 Sicherheit - Unfallverhütung
2.1.0 Warnhinweise und besondere Angaben
In der Betriebsanleitung werden die folgenden Benennungen für
Sicherheitshinweise und Angaben benutzt:
Situation. Bei Nichtbeachten des Hinweises
können leichte Verletzungen die Folge sein.
Besondere Ge- und Verbote zur
Schadensverhütung.
Besondere Angaben hinsichtlich der
wirtschaftlichen Verwendung sowie wichtige
Zusatzinformationen.
Bezeichnet eine unmittelbar drohende
Gefahr. Bei Nichtbeachten des Hinweises
drohen Tod oder schwerste Verletzungen.
Bezeichnet eine möglicherweise gefährliche
Situation. Bei Nichtbeachten des Hinweises
können schwere Verletzungen die Folge sein.
2.2.0 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
• Der MULTIPICK KRONOS darf nur zum Öffnen von Schließzylindern verwendet
werden. Eine andere oder darüber hinaus gehende Verwendung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß! Für hieraus resultierende Schäden haftet der Hersteller/
Lieferer nicht. Das Risiko trägt allein der Anwender.
• Bevor der MULTIPICK KRONOS außerhalb des oben beschriebenen Einsatzbe
reiches eingesetzt wird, ist der Kundendienst der Fa. Multipick zurate
zu ziehen, da sonst die Gewährleistung entfällt.
• Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört auch das Beachten
der Bedienungsanleitung.
• Der MULTIPICK KRONOS darf nur von hierfür geschulten Personen bedient,
gewartet und instand gesetzt werden.
• Der MULTIPICK KRONOS darf nur mit Originalzubehör der Fa. Multipick
genutzt werden.

2.4.0 Gefahrenquellen - Unfallverhütung
Im eingeschalteten Zustand nicht in die beweglichen Teile fassen. Hier besteht
Verletzungsgefahr! Der MULTIPICK KRONOS ist nach dem Stand der Technik
und den anerkannten sicherheitstechnischen Regeln gebaut. Die Beachtung
der einschlägigen Arbeitsschutz- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften wird
vorausgesetzt.
2.4.1 Verhalten in Notfallsituationen
Durch Loslassen des Bedienknopfes wird jede Bewegung sofort
abgestoppt.
2.5.0 Lärmemission
Der A-bewertete äquivalente Dauerschalldruckpegel liegt unter 70 dB(A).

3.2.1 Akku laden
• Der MULTIPICK KRONOS wird mit einem geschützten
Lithium Ionen Akku geliefert.
• Sobald die Motordrehzahl merklich nachlässt, den Akku
sofort durch einen voll geladenen Akku ersetzen.
• Akku niemals ganz entladen. Dies würde den Akku zerstören.
Um ein optimales Ladeergebnis zu erhalten, laden Sie immer
nur einen Akku im mitgelieferten Ladegerät auf.
• NIEMALS das Gerät unbeaufsichtigt und für Kinder
erreichbar ablegen.
• NIEMALS Sicherheitseinrichtungen entfernen oder durch
Veränderung außer Betrieb setzen.
• Der Betrieb des MULTIPICK KRONOS mit technischen
Mängeln ist verboten.
• Stets die Originalersatzteile der Fa. Multipick
verwenden. Nur sie entsprechen den festgelegten
technischen Anforderungen.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich geschützte LI Ionen-Akkus.
2.3.0 Sachwidrige Verwendung
• Verwendung des Produktes ohne Instruktionen
• Verwendung außerhalb der Einsatzgrenzen (legalen Gebrauch etc.)
• Öffnen des MUTLIPCIK KRONOS
• Bewusst fahrlässiges oder leichtsinniges Hantieren mit dem Produkt
• Verletzung Dritter

4.0.0 CE-Zeichen
Der MULTIPICK KRONOS wird in Übereinstimmung mit den derzeit
gültigen EG-Richtlinien gebaut und mit dem CE-Zeichen versehen.
Die beigefügte Konformitätserklärung verliert Ihre Gültigkeit, wenn
der MULTIPICK KRONOS ohne unsere Zustimmung umgebaut oder
verändert werden.

5.2.0 Garantie und Gewährleistung
Die Garantie des MULTIPICK KRONOS beträgt zwei Jahre ab Kaufdatum
6.0.0 Bedienung des MULTIPICK KRONOS
6.1.0 Akku einsetzen
Zum Einsetzen des Akkus schrauben Sie den Schraubdeckel ab. Nun können
Sie den Akku einsetzen. Achten Sie dabei auf den + und – Pol. Der Pluspol muss
dabei nach vorne gerichtet sein. Der Schraubdeckel ist der Minuspol.
Zum Einsetzen des Akkus (2) gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:
1. Schraubdeckel mit Batteriekontakt (1) abschrauben.
2. Li-Ionen Akku (2) einsetzen.
3. Schraubdeckel (1) wieder aufschrauben, fertig.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich geschützte LI Ionen-Akkus.
• Verwenden Sie keine Akkus, die Beschädigungen
(Deformationen) aufweisen.

Achten Sie sorgfältig darauf, dass Sie den Akku von
seiner Polung her richtig herum einlegen.

6.2.0 Einsetzen der Pick-Nadel
Öffnen Sie mit dem mitgelieferten Inbusschlüssel die Klemmschraube (7).
Setzen Sie die Picknadel (4) in den entstehenden Spalt (5) zwischen Halter (8)
und Klemmstück (6) ein und schieben Sie die Picknadel bis zum Anschlag.
Ziehen Sie die Klemmschraube (7) mit dem Inbusschlüssel so an, dass ein fester
Sitz der Nadel gewährleistet ist.
Nun ist der MULTIPICK KRONOS einsatzbereit.
6.3.0 Arbeiten mit dem MULTIPICK KRONOS

Zum Einschalten des Multipick Kronos betätigen Sie den Drucktaster auf der
Oberseite des Geräts. Sobald Sie den Drucktaster (10) loslassen, wird der Kronos
ausgeschaltet.
6.3.2 Einstellen der Amplitude
Mit der Justierschraube (9) an der Oberseite des Geräts können Sie während des
Arbeitsbetriebes den Amplitudenausschlag in einem Bereich von 1 – 4 mm
einstellen. Durch die Druckfeder an der Justierschraube wird die eingestellte
Position gehalten.

Drehregler (9) nach links (gegen Uhrzeigersinn) drehen:
- Amplitude wird erhöht
Drehregler (9) nach rechts (im Uhrzeigersinn) drehen:
-Amplitude wird verringert
6.3.3 Betrieb
Die maximale Laufzeit im Dauerbetrieb sollte 10 Minuten nicht überschreiten.
Eine starke Erwärmung des Motors und des Gehäuse ist möglich. Bei einem
Blockieren der E-Pick-Nadel im Zylinder oder zu starker Belastung, ist der Betrieb
kurzzeitig einzustellen. Es besteht die Gefahr, dass der Motor überlastet wird
und elektronische Bauteile beschädigt werden. Weiterhin kann es dazu kommen,
dass auch der Akku überlastet wird. Durch den Schutzmechanismus im Akku wird
dieser geschützt. Die Folge ist ein Aussetzen des Motors und das Gerät kann für
einen Zeitraum von ca. 2 bis 4 Sek. nicht betrieben werden. Es dürfen ausschließ-
lich nur geschützte Akkus für den Betrieb des E-Picks verwendet werden.
Um einen sicheren Betreib zu gewährleisten, sollten nur die E-Pick-Nadeln aus
unserem Haus verwendet werden. Der Wechsel der E-Pick-Nadeln darf nur im
ausgeschalteten Zustand durchgeführt werden. Hierzu sollte der Akku heraus-
genommen werden, um ein versehentliches einschalten zu vermeiden.
6.4.0 Pege Ihres Geräts
Ihr Gerät wurde mit großer Sorgfalt entworfen und hergestellt und sollte auch mit
Sorgfalt behandelt werden. Die folgenden Empfehlungen sollen Ihnen helfen, Ihre
Garantie- und Gewährleistungsansprüche zu wahren.
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät trocken auf. In Niederschlägen,
Feuchtigkeit und allen Arten von Flüssigkeiten und Nässe
können Mineralien enthalten sein, die elektronische
Schaltkreise korrodieren lassen.
• Wenn das Gerät nass wird, entnehmen Sie den Akku und
lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig trocknen, bevor Sie den
Akku erneut einsetzen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in staubigen oder schmutzigen
Umgebungen, oder bewahren Sie es dort auf. Bewegliche Teile
und elektronischen Komponenten können beschädigt werden.
6.5.0 Aufbewahrung und sorgfältiger Umgang
• Setzen Sie den MULTIPICK KRONOS niemals extrem hohen
oder niederen Temperaturen aus.
• Große Temperaturunterschiede können dazu führen, dass sich
im Inneren des Gerätes Kondenswasser bildet. Dies kann zu
Korrosion und Schäden an der Elektronik führen.
• Vermeiden Sie Fallen lassen des Gerätes. Stöße, Schläge und
sonstige Erschütterungen können zu Schäden an der
Elektronik, oder an mechanischen Teilen führen.
• Reinigen Sie den MULTIPICK KRONOS nur mit einem
sauberen, trockenen und weichen Tuch.
• Die Verwendung von Reinigungsmitteln kann zur
Beschädigung der Oberäche des MULTIPICK KRONOS führen.
• Hohe Temperaturen, wie z. B. durch starke Sonneneinstrahlung
oder Lagerung in der Nähe von heißen Quellen, können zur
Beschädigung der Elektronik, bis hin zur Explosionsgefahr
führen.

7.0.0 Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den
normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden.
Für sichere und umweltschonende Entsorgung von Akkus,
Batterien, Betriebs- und Hilfsstoffen sowie Austauschteilen sorgen.
Durch die Abgabe bei der zuständigen Entsorgungsstelle leisten
Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Schutze unserer Umwelt.
Das Urheberrecht an dieser Dokumentation verbleibt bei uns. Die

• These instructions have to be available for the user at any time.
• These instructions should facilitate:
- getting to know then MULTIPICK KRONOS,
- using the MULTIPICK KRONOS according to regulations,
- using the MULTIPICK KRONOS in an optimal way.
• Please read these instructions carefully!
They contain important indications to use MULTIPICK KRONOS:
- safely and
- appropriately.
• Their observation is warranty for:
- user’s safety
- prevention of dangerous situations
- perfect operation of MULTIPICK KRONOS.
• We assume no liability for damages and malfunctions resulting from non-obser-
vation of these instructions.
1.1.0 Warranty
Warranty regulations apply according to our General Terms and Conditions
(GTC), in the at delivery valid version.

2.0.0 Safety – Accident prevention
2.1.0 Warnings and special indications
In the instructions we use the following appellations for

2.2.0 Use according to regulations
• MULTIPICK KRONOS is only to be used for cylinder lock opening.
Any other and beyond use is not according to regulations!
The producer/distributor declines responsibility for any here from
resulting damages. Only the user bears the risk.
• Before using MULTIPICK KRONOS beyond the described the range of
application, the Multipick customer service has to be consulted since otherwise
warranty is inapplicable.
• Use according to regulations includes observation of instructions.
• MULTIPICK KRONOS is to be used, serviced and repaired by trained persons
only.
• MULTIPICK KRONOS is to be used with original pieces of Multipick only.
On incorrect operation or misuse there is risk of
damage for: - material assets - the efcient work of

2.4.0 Safety hazards – Accident prevention
MULTIPICK KRONOS has been constructed according to state of art and the
approved regulations of technical safety. Observation of the industrial safety and
accident prevention rules is taken for granted. Do not touch mobile parts while
product is running. There is danger of injuries!
2.4.1 Behaviour in emergency situations
By releasing the control button all movement will stop.
2.5.0 Noise emission
The equivalent A-weighted continuous sound level is under 70 dB (A).

• As soon as motor rotation is ceases noticeably, immediately
replace battery with fully loaded one.
• Never drain battery completely. This would destroy the battery.
In order to obtain an optimal charging result, always charge a
battery with the included charger.

4.0.0 CE-mark
MULTIPICK KRONOS is constructed in accordance with the currently
valid EC Directives and is branded with the CE-mark. The included
conformity declaration loses validity if MULTIPICK KRONOS is
converted or modied without our approval.

5.2.0 Warranty
Warranty for MULTIPICK KRONOS is two years from purchase date.
6.0.0 Using MULTIPICK KRONOS
6.1.0 Place battery
To place the battery you unscrew the screw cap. Now you may place the battery.
Take care of + and – pole. The positive pole must show inside the device. The
screw cap is the negative pole.
To place the battery (2) please proceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the screw cap with the battery contact (1).
2. Insert the Li-Ion battery (2).
3. Screw on the screw cap (1), ready.
• Use only protected LI-Ion (Lithium-Ion) batteries.
• Do not use batteries which show damages (deformations).

6.2.0 Place pick needle
Open the clamp screw (7) with the included Allen key.
Place the pick needle (4) into the resulting gap (5) between holder (8)
and clamp (6) and push the pick needle all the way to the stop.
Tighten the clamp screw (7) with the Allen key so that a rm hold of the
needle is ensured.
Now MULTIPICK KRONOS is operational.
6.3.0 Work with MULTIPICK KRONOS
6.3.1 Switch On and Off MULTIPICK KRONOS

To switch on the Multipick Kronos you activate the push button on top of the
device. As soon as you release the push button (10), Kronos turns off.
6.3.2 Adjust the amplitude
With the adjustment screw (9) on top of the device you may adjust the amplitude
deexion in a range of 1 – 4 mm while operating. Thanks to the pressure spring
the adjustment screw is held at the adjusted position.

Turn the rotary button (9) to the left (anti-clockwise):
- Amplitude increases
Turn the rotary button (9) to the right (clockwise):
-Amplitude decreases
6.3.3 Operation
The maximal continuous running time should not exceed 10 minutes.
A strong heating of the motor and the housing is possible. If the pick needle gets
stuck inside the cylinder or on strong charge, the operation has to be stopped.
The motor risks to get surcharged and electronic parts may be damaged. Further-
more it may happen that the battery gets surcharged. Thanks to the protection
mechanism in the battery, it is protected. The motor would stop and the device
would not be operational for about 2 to 4 seconds. Only protected batteries should
be used for operating the electric pick gun.
To ensure a safe operation, only pick needles from Multipick should be used. The
pick needles are only to be replaced while the device is switched off. The battery
should be removed to avoid accidental switch on.
6.4.0 Care of device
Your device has been designed and manufactured with great care and should

• Keep the device in dry area. Precipitations, humidity and all
kinds of liquids and wetness may contain minerals which make
electronic circuit corrode.
• If the device gets wet, remove the battery and leave the device
to dry completely before reinserting the battery.
• Do not use the device in dusty or dirty environments, or store it
there. Mobile parts and electronic components may be
damaged.
6.5.0 Storage and careful manipulation
• Never expose MULTIPICK KRONOS to extremely high or low
temperatures. High temperatures, such as strong insolation or
storage next to hot sources, may damage the electronic or
even risk explosion.
• Important differences of temperature may cause development
of condensation inside the device. This may cause corrosion
and damages in the electronic.
• Avoid dropping the device. Impacts, blows and other
concussions may cause damages in the electronic or to
mechanical parts.
• Clean MULTIPICK KRONOS only with a clean, dry and
soft cloth.
• Using cleanser may cause damages to the surface of the
MULTIPICK KRONOS.

This product is not to be disposed of with the normal
household garbage.
Ensure safe and environmentally friendly disposal of batteries,
accumulators, production and other auxiliary material.
By dropping at the proper disposal site you contribute to protection
to our environment.
