26 pages-per-minute (34 page-per-minute monochrome)

The MFX-C3400 from Muratec delivers exceptional 11" x 17" color
printing, robust color copying, high-speed faxing and intuitive digital
document delivery to e-mail addresses, PC folders and USB flash drives,
all within the footprint of a traditional letter/legal multifunction device.

Robust Color Copying
• Experience the performance of a traditional A3 color copier
in an MFP that can easily be installed within the workgroup
• 50-sheet reversing automatic document feeder (RADF)
efficiently captures two-sided, multi-page documents
• 11" x 17" platen glass enables the seamless copying of carbon
papers, bound documents, photos, coated identification cards
and other media that is not suitable for the RADF
• Flexible paper options can be installed to handle a variety of
output requirements
Digital Document Delivery
• Easily deliver color documents to e-mail addresses, PC folders
and FTP sites
• Documents can be delivered in PDF, TIFF, JPEG and XPS file
formats*
• On-the-go users can conveniently scan documents to a
portable USB flash drive
• Intuitive QWERTY keypad enables the customization of scan
file names, e-mail text messages, e-mail addresses and more

50-sheet reversing automatic
document feeder enables the
copying, faxing and scanning of multi-
page, two-sided originals without having
to break them into multiple sets. Also
supports mixed original copying.
The 11" x 17" platen glass
seamlessly captures documents that are
not appropriate for the RADF including
carbon forms, coated identification cards,
bound originals, photos and more.
LCD Panel – The 5.8" backlit LCD
enables users to quickly navigate menus and
perform job operations without spending
hours studying a user’s guide or having to
perform multiple key-op training sessions.

E-mail
• Deliver documents directly to an e-mail inbox to reduce paper consumption
• Utilize the intuitive QWERTY keypad to customize the file name (document being scanned),
subject line (the subject that will appear in the e-mail inbox) and text message (body of the
e-mail). Templates can also be created to seamlessly add e-mail signatures and privacy policies
to outgoing e-mail transmissions.
• Manually enter e-mail addresses using the QWERTY keypad or select a location from the e-mail
address book. The address book can contain up to 500 e-mail contacts.

• Deliver documents directly to a PC folder to create digital archives
• Utilize the intuitive QWERTY keypad to customize the file name (document being scanned)
• Deliver documents to a PC folder at the touch of a button utilizing shortcuts. Up to 50
shortcuts can be registered.

• 33.6 Kbps fax modem transmits documents at up to 3 seconds-per-page
• Store up to 500 fax numbers in the address book for instant recall
• Manually dial fax numbers using the intuitive keypad on the control panel
• Quickly send documents from a PC using the fax driver
• Route inbound fax documents to an e-mail address to reduce paper consumption, increase
document security and receive critical communication when out-of-the-office
• Generate a confirmation report to show whether a fax transmission was successful.
USB
• Quickly and securely digitize documents, without a PC, by capturing
images directly onto a USB flash drive via the front-mounted USB port.
The MFX-C3400 enables your workgroup to electronically capture hard copy documents and
deliver them to e-mail addresses, network locations, fax terminals and USB drives.
40-GB Hard Drive:
• Secure printing – Enables users to suppress document printing until a password has been entered on the control panel.
• 256-Bit Encryption – Enables secure transmission of documents from the PC to the MFP.
• Job Timeout – If a secure print job has not been printed within a set amount of time (as selected by the administrator)
the hard drive will automatically erase the job from memory.
• Secure Erase – Complete removal of a printed document from the hard drive after printing. The MFX-C3400 hard drive
can completely erase all traces of the print job.
