This manual, to be used by the MV Agusta authorised workshops has been realised with the
purpose of assisting authorised personnel in maintenan e and repairs operations of the
motor y le. The knowledge of te hni al data herein noted, determines the omplete profes-
sional training of the te hni ian.
With purpose of making the reading of this manual immediately omprehensible, the para-
graphs have been aligned with detailed illustrations that highlight the argument dealt with.
Useful advi e
To prevent any problems and to rea h an ex ellent final result, MV Agusta re ommends
keeping to the following guidelines:
- In the ase of an eventual repair, evaluate the lient’s impressions who states that there
is an abnormal fun tioning of the motor y le and to formulate the right questions to
larify the symptoms of the problem.
- Clearly diagnose the ause of the abnormality. The basi fundamental theories an be
absorbed by reading this manual that must ne essarily be integrated to the personal
experien e and the parti ipation of training ourses that are periodi ally organised by
MV Agusta.
- Rationally plan the repair to avoid sla k periods, e.g. the olle tion of spare parts, the
preparation of tools and equipment, et .
- To rea h the part to be repaired limiting the work to the essential operations.
With regards to this, a valid help would be to onsult this manual with regards to the
sequen es of removal demonstrated in this manual.
