Precautions
This manual contains important information about safety instructions and regular use, so please in order to avoid accidents read it carefully before use of the unit.
Do not store the unit in wet, dirty or hightemperature place (above 40 C). On summer do not leave it in a car with closed windows.
Do not hit or beat the player. Pay special attention not to shake the TFT-display, because it could do damage to the screen, or it could cause false displaying.
Choose an adequate volume. Decrease the volume or turnoff the player, if you recognise buzzing in the ears.
The duration of the battery may vary depending on the conditions of usage, the manufacturer, the date of production.
Do not disconnect the player while formatting, uploading or downloading is in progress, since it could couse program error.
We shall not be responsible for any data lass arising from damage, repair of the unit or any other reason. Please use the unit accordingto instructions of this manual.
The player is charged when it is connected to an USB-port of a working computer even if the player is turned off.
Do not dismantle the player at discretion, and do not use alcohol, thinner or benzol for cleaning the case ofthe player.
Do not use the player on such places where the use of electronical units is forbidden, i.e. on airplane.
In order to avoid traffic accidents please do not use the player during driving or walking.
Before charging please turn off the MP3 player, failing to do so the player could break down.
The player should be charged in the following conditions:
A. The battery icon indicates low voltage.
B. Amessage appears warning that the battery goes flat.
C. There is no reaction to key presses.

Preparation before Use
Appearance
Key Function
1. M: menu；Short press: pop up the menu/confirm(enter or back to a higher level); Long press: return to the main interface.
2. : select the previous option or file. Long press it to fast rewind.
3. : select the next option or file. Long press it to fast forward.
4. : play/pause; sometimes it is also used as returnkey (returningfrom sub menu to the previous menu).
5. [VOL+] / [VOL-]: adjust volume, increase /decrease the volume
Power On/Off
Slide the switch to left/right to turn on/off the player.
When the idle time reaches the power-off time set by the user, the player will be powered off automatically.
Note: this function is ineffective when the player is connected to PC.
Low Power
Pleaand then enter standby status automatically, charge it instead because the battery is low.
Charger current specification recommended: 400-500mA.
Expansion Card
Insert the card to the slot on the upside of the player.

Connect to PC
Connect the player to PC with the supplied USB cable in any status; PC will prompt and enter U-disk status. You can copy files between the player and PC.
Press M to exist from U-disk status and enter the main menu.
Music
Select Music and press M to enter the music main menu. The systemwill stay on the interface that the player exited from last time.
Music Playing Interface
1. Press to switch between play and pause; press / for the previous or the next file, and long press them for fast rewind and forward.
2. The player supports LRC viewing. In playing status, long press M to enter lyric displaying interface if there is lyric, and press it again to exit.
3. Adjusting volume:press [VOL-] or [VOL+] to decrease/increase the volume one step, while hold [VOL-] or [VOL+] button will decrease/increase continuously.
Menu 1. Press M in music stopping status, the system will enter menu 1, which includes local folder, card folder (if any), delete file, delete all and exit.
2. Press M in music playing status, the system will enter menu 2, which includes Repeat, Equalizer, SRS WOW, Replay mode and Exit.
Long press M, it will enter lyric displaying interface if there is lyric for the now playing file.
3. Press / to choose the and press M to enter it. Press to exit and long press M to return to the main menu of the player.
4. The system will automatically return to music playing interface if there is no operation in 8s with the menu or its sub menu pop up.
5. Breakpoints playback supported. It willresume playing fromwhere it stopped last time.

Local folder: it lists all the files in local folder. Press M to enter its submenu s as
default.
Delete file: delete the current file. Press M to enter the file list, and press it again to pop up delete menu, press / tochoose delete it or not, press M to confirm and back to upper level.
Delete all: delete all the files under the current folder.

1. Replay Mode
a) Select Replay Mode; the systemreturns to playing interface, shows on the top left, indicating the system is ready for replay now. At the same time, Aflickers, indicating A is
the start point, and Press to set current time as start point, that is, point A; then B starts flickering and it is the end point. Press again to set it as the end point.AB replay set
finishes.
b) The system will start replay according to the set Replay Times and Repeat Intervals.

time, the system starts recording. The recording time is 10% longer than the set replay time. After the record ends, the icon will change to , therefore, the system starts
repeating Follow & Replay Follow & Recordaccording to the set repeat time. During the whole process, you can press to returnto the replay mode.
d) When the system has finished follow and replay, you can press to enter Contrast Replay, the icon for it is . After the replay, the icon changes to , which means it is
playing the one recorded just now; therefore, the system Replay playing follow reading record. During this process, press ,the system will return to Follow,
and press to start a new replay mode setting.
e) Press M to exist fromReplay interface and return to music playing interface.
2. Replay Times: press and to set the time: 1-10, the default is 5. Press M to return to playing interface.
3. Replay Interval: set the interval time between two replay, 1－10s, the default is 1s.
Movie
1. Press M and enter the following interface, you can refer to the music playing interface for the illustration of this interface. And press M to begin playing videos.
2. Support breakpoint playing.
Menu
Press M to pop up the menu during stopping interface, which includes: Local folder, Card folder, Delete file, Delete All, Repeat and exit. Functions and operation are the same as that of
Music.
Record
Select Record and press M to enter the recording interface.
Recording Interface
1. Press to start/pause/continue recording.
2. Long press to save the recording and be ready for thenext recording.
3. Long press M, the system will save the current recording and exit to the main interface.
4. The recording file will be automatically saved to <Music-Record>.

Press M to pop up the menu, which includes: Local folder, Card folder, RECtype, Record form, AVR mode, AVR level, AVR delay and exit.
Notes:
a) In pause status, if low battery, the system will automatically save the recording and return to the record interface.
b) The S
Local folder: to see and choose where to keep the current recording file.
REC type: wav. Bit rate: 32K/64K/128K/256K.
Record from: to choose recording sources, audio input and microphone.
AVR mode: normal and AVR mode. AVR mode can be sonic control, when the volume of the recording source becomes faint and has been kept that situation for some time, the system will
automatically pause recording until the volume returns to the threshold for recordingagain.
AVR Level: to adjust sensitivity towards recording voice source. The larger the number is, the less sensitive the recording system is. The default is 5.
AVR delay: to adjust mute time: 1-10s. e.g. 10 means the systemwill stoThe default is 3 sec.

Radio Interface
1. Manual search: press / for station tuning. Long press / to search the previous/next station automatically; press / again to stop auto search.
2. Breakpoint Play: the stations can be saved after exiting from radio; user can listen to the station played last time when re-entering it.
Menu
Press M to pop up the menu, which includes Save, Record, Delete Channel, and Delete All, Auto Search, Normal Band, Japan Band and Exit.
Save: Save current station.
Record: After selecting record, the system switches to recording interface and prepares for recording. The followingrecord operations are the same with those of record application.
Delete Channel: Delete current station from saved station programs.
Delete All: Delete all the saved station.
Auto Search
Select it, and press Mto return to FM interface to start searchingstations. Once a station is searched, the systemsaves it automatically and numbers it as CH01, which will show on the
interface. After playing CH01 for 5 seconds, the system continues searching the next stations, numbering and saving themin sequence. After the whole band has been searched, press Mto
stop searching and press to switch between the saved stations. Automatic searching stops after 20 channels are searched; in case of less than 20 channels being searched, the system
will try another time and stop searching after twice. The second search threshold is lowered than the first time automatically.

Japan Band: Band range: 76MHz ~ 90MHZ

When browsing the pictures, presses M to pop up the menu, which includes Local folder, Card folder, Play Set, Delete File and Delete All.
1. Play Set:
a) Manual: play / to view the previous or the next picture.
b) Auto: press / to adjust the play interval of auto play（2-10s, press M to confirm.
Setup
1. System time: press Vol to switch between year, month, day, hour, minute and second, press / to adjust the value, and press M to save your setting.
2. LCD set:
Backlight Time: if no operation in the set time, the backlight willturn off, range 0～30s; Step: 3s. Note: the function of Backlight Off will be shielded for some functions, such asvideo
playing, picture auto-playing, E-book reading, USB connection interface or lyric displaying.
3. Language:
Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Czech, Danish, Polish, Russian, Turkish,
Hungarian, Romanian, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Indonesian and Greek.
4. Power off:
Off time: set off time in case of no operation, range: 0-200s; Step: 10s. The Off Time is not effective when the systemis in USB mode, playing video, FM Radio, recording, Photo and
E-book auto-playing.
Sleep time: set sleep time in case of no operation. Range: 0-120m, Step: 10m. The Sleep time is not effective only in USB mode.
5. Online mode:
Multiply Driver: display normal disk and encrypted disk when connecting to PC
Normal Only: just display normal disk when connecting to PC.
Encrypted Only: just display encrypted disk when connecting to PC
Card Only: just display card when connecting to PC.
6. Memory info: show the total capacity and percentage that has beentaken of the main disk and SDcard. Press / to switch the memory information between main disk and SD
card.
7. Format Device: Format main disk and card.
8. Firmware version: show version information of the firmware.
9. Firmware upgrade:
This player provides with firmware upgrading tool to upgrade or repair the firmware in the player.
1) Download the latest firmware.
2) her movable disks are connected to the PC at the same time.
3) Run this tool. If the firmware in the player is in good condition, the tool will shift to firmware upgrading mode; it display
version etc in the box on the upper left corner of thS to select the firmware file to be upgraded. After the firmware
file detected to be correct by the tool, it displays the information of the selected firmware such as version etc in the box on the upper right corner of the tool interface. Now
l change to firmware restoration mode. The version

On file list interface, press M to enter menu 1, which includes Local folder, Card folder, Playback Set, DeleteFile, Delete all and Exit. The function and operation are the same as those
of photo application.
On the text reading interface, press Mand the option includes Bookmark Select, Bookmark Delete, Bookmark Add and Exit. Please refer to <Music-Bookmark> for the function and
operation of other menu options.

Formatting and Encrypting Partition
Player Formatting
1. Install media player managing tool on computer. After the installation, Disk management tool can be found through Start —Programs —Media Player Managing Tool on computer.
2. Connect computer with media player, select Format through Start —Programs —Media Player Managing Tool —Disk managing tool on computer.
3 Select the disk to be formatted from the field for Driver; input the new name of the disk in Driver label (just for Windows XP). Formatting types for selection are Fast, Complete or
Low-level. Then click Start to format.
Encrypted Partition of Player
1 Connect computer with media player, select Partition and Encrypt through Start —Programs —Media Player Managing Tool —Disk managing tool on computer.
2 Drag the slid bar under Set encrypted disk size to set the size of the encrypted disk with mouse. After setting, select Set user name or password, under which to fill in user name and
password. Click Start to divide the disk.
3 For opening encrypted disk on computer, correct user name and password are needed.
