IMPORTANT - STORE TRAY ON FLAT
Prior to installation, the shower tray must be checked thoroughly for defects. In the unlikely event that the product
has a defect, it must not be installed and should be returned to the supplier who will provide a replacement, if
necessary.
Checks should include, but not limited to, the following:
 Ensure that the colour and fi nish of the shower tray is acceptable
 Ensure that the product is not cracked or chipped.
 Ensure that there is no twisting or distortions of the product.
 Ensure that the shower tray suitably drains water when levelled.
 Ensure that the shower tray is the correct size by checking lengths with a measuring tape.
The manufacturer will not be held responsible for the costs of removal or replacement of a shower tray or
any other costs incurred as a result of the shower tray having a defect if said defect was identifi able prior
to installation.
INSTALLATION OF THE SHOWER TRAY WILL BE TREATED AS
ACCEPTANCE OF QUALITY.
CHECKING FOR TWISTS
Place the shower tray on a fl at level surface.
Using a spirit level, ensure that all outer edges
of the shower tray are fl at and level as per
fi gure 1.
If any of the levels cannot be corrected when
embedding the shower tray, then it may be
twisted or distorted. If this is the case, then the
shower tray must not be installed and should be
returned to the retailer for replacement.

Note that this shower tray is suitable for installation on both wooden and
concrete floors. If fitting to a wooden floor, it is recommended that the base
be made from marine ply as it resists delamination under humid conditions.
1. For the perfect installation of the shower tray, it is necessary to create a
completely level surface. Use a 12 or 15mm notched trowel with flexible tile
adhesive. Spread the flexible tile adhesive evenly on the floor area as per
figure 2.
2. Settle the shower tray into final position and tap level as per figure 3. Allow
the flexible tile adhesive to set before applying any further weight to the
shower tray.
3. Now that the shower tray is in final position, place the waste cover grid on
the tray.
4. Before proceeding any further, the shower tray must be checked for proper
drainage with good water volume poured onto all tray areas. If the shower tray
fails to drain water suitably, then double check that it is level. If the tray is level
and still fails to drain water, then it may be faulty or there may be a blockage
in the drainage pipe. In the unlikely event that the tray is faulty, the installation
must be halted and the shower tray returned to the supplier for replacement.
Tiles / panelling / shower doors / screens or any other fixtures relating
to the shower area must not be fitted if the shower tray has a fault.
• Clean regularly with a PH Neutral Detergent, rinse well with water until there is no residue from detergent & dry.
• To remove any residue simply wipe with a clean cloth and PH Neutral Detergent, rinse well with water.
• Avoid the use of scouring sponges as well as alcohol, acid or abrasive cleaners.
