This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children SHALL NOT play with the appliance.
Children of less than 3 years old should be kept away
from the appliance unless continually supervised
Children aged between 3 years and 8 years shall only
switch on/ off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and that they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged between 3 years and 8 years shall not
plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform
user maintenance.
CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.
This appliance must not be exposed to dripping or
splashing water.
CAUTION: To avoid hazard due to inadvertent
resetting of the thermal cut out, this towel rail must not
be powered via an external switch, such as a timer.

DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged cord.
DO NOT allow the heater to come into contact with
flammable material for example curtains or furniture.
Disconnect this appliance before any repairs, cleaning
or maintenance is carried out upon it.
This heater should not be located directly below a
power socket.
DO NOT operate this appliance if the front cover is not
correctly positioned on the unit.
DO NOT use the appliance in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, shower or a swimming pool.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
WARNING: the cable outlet must be controlled by a
double pole isolation switch with a contact separation
of at least 3mm in all poles. When located within a
bathroom the switch must be a pullcord; if located
outside the bathroom it should be adjacent to the
entrance. The appliance must be located in a position
that does not allow any person to touch it.

When installed in a bathroom, the Towel rail
must be at least 600mm away from the bath or
shower area. The Towel Rail should always be
fixed to the wall at least 600mm above the floor
level.
Place the Towel Rail face down on a flat
surface, and loosely assemble each fixing
point into the nuts located on the reverse of
the towel rail using the spacer bar and bolt
as shown in Figure 2.
Tighten each fixing and then offer up the
Towel Rail to the wall and mark off the fixing
holes for the holes on each fixing point,
taking care to make the rail squarely aligned
on the wall.
Drill and plug the wall suitable for the
supplied plugs/screws.
Screw each fixing point to the wall (see
Figure 2).
Fit the rail with the assembled spacer bars
onto the wall-mounted fixing points (as in
Figure 2). Tighten the spacer bar to the wall
fixing using the hexagonal screw with the
tool provided (see Figure 3).
Connect the electrical wires of this appliance to a fused spur according to
the following colour code – Blue: Neutral, Brown: Live – in accordance with
NECEIC wiring regulations, with a minimum cable size of 1mm2.
NB. If no fused spur is nearby consult a suitably qualified electrician.

1. Start-up
After you connect the power supply you will be asked to set the time:
Press + / - to adjust the hour 00:00-23:00.
Press OK-boost to confirm hour setting and move to minute setting 00:00-00:59.
Press OK-boost to confirm minute setting and move to day of week setting 1-7.
(1 Monday, 2 Tuesday, 3 Wednesday, 4 Thursday, 5 Friday, 6 Saturday, 7 Sunday)
Press OK-boost to confirm.
Once set the controller will automatically enter Standby mode.
Press Standby to turn the heater on.
2. Selecting the Mode (OK-boost button)
Press OK-boost to toggle between the modes:
Comfort / Eco / Program mode or Frost Protection .
Notes:
In case of power failure, the unit will only retain the set
temperatures and operating mode. When the unit is turned
back on, the clock will need to be reset.

3. Boost mode
For all other working modes except program mode, press and hold the
OK-boost button for 3 seconds to activate or inactivate the boost mode.
bSt1: The unit will heat to 29C for ONE hour before returning to the previous
settings.
bSt2: The unit will heat to 29C for TWO hours before returning to the previous
settings.
4. Setting the Temperature
Press OK-boost to toggle between the modes: Comfort / Eco
Press + / - buttons to adjust the temperature.
To save the setting either wait 5 seconds or press the Menu (M) button.
The adjustable temperature ranges are as follows:
• Eco Mode temperature range 1.5°C - 25.5°C
• Comfort Mode temperature range 5°C - 29°C
Once the set temperature has been reached, the unit will stop heating.
5. The Settings Menu (M)
Press Mto enter the settings menu.
Press + / - to choose between the clock , program mode ,
Window detection mode and the keyboard lock .
The selected icon will flash when highlighted.
Press OK-boost to enter the selected mode.
Press Magain to exit the menu, otherwise the menu will automatically exit after
30 seconds.

7. Program Mode
In the program mode, you can choose from 7 pre-set 24-hour programs
(P1-P7) for each day of week. The 7 pre-set 24-hour programs (P1-P7) are
programmable. For each hour, you can choose between comfort mode and
economic mode (see below).

6. Setting the Clock
Press Mto enter the settings menu interface
Use + / - to highlight the time setting (the time will flash when highlighted).
Press
OK-boost
to set the time and day.
Press + / - to adjust the hour 00:00-23:00.
Press OK-boost to confirm hour setting and move to minute setting 00:00-00:59.
Press OK-boost to confirm minute setting and move to day of week setting1-7.
Press OK-boost to confirm or after 30 seconds, it will automatically save and exit.

Press Mto enter the settings menu
Pressing + / - to select the Program mode icon
Press OK-boost once to select the mode (do not hold the button).
Press + / - to choose from P1 to P7 for day 1 (Monday).
Press OK-boost to confirm and choose for the next day.
After finishing day 7 (Sunday),
Press OK-boost to confirm.
If the unit is left idle for 30 seconds the settings it will save automatically.
8. Custom Programs
To override the pre-sets P1-P7, select a pre-set and then hold OK-boost for 3
seconds until the first hour flashes.
1. Press + to set it to comfort mode or
Press – to set it to eco mode .
Press OK-boost to keep previous setting.
Once a selection is made the next hour will automatically be highlighted.
The selected hour will flash, as you amend each segment.
2. Once the last hour has been set, you will then be able to allocate the newly
defined pre-set(s) to a day or amend another pre-set.

9. Window Detection Mode
Press Mto enter the settings menu.
Press + / - to highlight the window detection icon
Press OK-boost to select.
Using the + / - buttons choose “ON” or “OFF”.
Press OK-boost to confirm.
If “ON” is selected, the window detection function is activated and icon will
show on the screen. When a sudden decrease in temperature is detected, the
appliance will automatically enter frost protection mode with icon flashing.
Once the temperature stabilises, the appliance will go back to its previous mode
with icon active. You can choose “OFF” to deactivate the window detection
function.
The window detection mode is not available when either frost protection or boost
modes are active.
10. Keyboard Lock
Press Mto enter setting menu, then by pressing + / - highlight the keyboard lock
icon , press OK-boost to activate the keyboard lock and return to main
screen interface.
To unlock, press Standby twice.

11. Cleaning
The Towel Rail should be turned off prior to cleaning.
To clean the Towel Rail, a clean, dry cloth should be used.
Under no circumstances should any kind of abrasive spray or cleaner be used.
Any damage to the surface finish may invalidate your warranty. If a cleaning
agent is to be used, only a non-abrasive wax polish is suitable.
12. Maintenance
IF YOUR TOWEL RAIL DOES NOT WORK.
Check that the fuse has not blown at the flex outlet, or at the distribution board.
Should none of the above remedies work, then consult an accredited service
agent.
If the appliance is still under guarantee, return it to your supplier for a warranty
exchange.
DO NOT attempt to repair the Towel Rail.
