Thank you for purchasing MyMusix 1GB OLED Display MP3 player from RadioShack. This
manual systematically introduces the operation method, skills and relevant precautions. Please
read it carefully so as to master the operation method quickly.

caution, but MyMusix will not be responsible for any mistakes in this manual.
2. MyMusix will not be responsible for any accident or other loss caused by
misunderstanding of this manual. We will also not be responsible for any
loss caused by using our product or the claim by the third party.
3. MyMusix will be responsible only for the inherent problem of the player,
but not for data loss, revision of the player or other indirect losses resulting
from mal-operation of software, maintenance or other accidents. MyMusix
will not be responsible for restoration of personal data lost.

Safety Precaution
Before using this player, please carefully read and understand every safety instruction listed in
this chapter, and observe them strictly in future use to ensure that the player provides you with
pleasure and entertainment .
1. Read carefully all the attached user's materials, and fully understand the operation guide and
warnings of this player.
2. Check if the contents in the packaging of the player are consistent to the packing list. If not,
please contact the dealer immediately.
3. When it is left unused for a long period of time, the battery should be taken out from battery
chamber. If liquid leakage of battery is detected and the player works abnormally, please do
not dismantle the player for cleaning, which may lead to irremediable damages to the player.
In this case, please do not hesitate to contact MyMusix customer service center for technical
support and help from MyMusix professional servicemen. But MyMusix shall take no liability
for damages resulting from battery liquid leakage.
4. This player is a hi-tech electronic product, which should keep away from heat, cold and
moisture when being used. Special care should be taken to observe the following points:
a) The player should not be exposed to strong sunlight, and should keep away from heat
sources.
b) Avoid using the player outdoor at low temperature for a long period of time.
c) The player should not be placed in the environment of extra-humidity; Care should be
taken so that water and other liquids are not spilled onto the player. If it happens, the
player should be switched off immediately.
d) The player should not be used in dust-plagued or very dirty places.
e) Do not clean the player with any type of detergent containing chemical elements or other
solutions in order to avoid damages from corrosion or moisture. If necessary, please clean
it with soft cloth or paper slightly.
5. Do not use the player in strong magnetic field, strong electric charge or electromagnetic
interference environment in order to prevent data from being lost.
6. Do not drop the player on the ground or suffer from fierce impact from other objects, which
may lead to unnecessary loss.
7. The player should be opened under no circumstances. The manufacturer takes no liability for
damages resulting from unauthorized tampering.

The player will appear as a removable driver under My Computer if MSC mode is being used.
PC Connection
Connect the player to the PC with the provided USB cable.
There are two modes of connection, MSC mode and MTP mode.
MSC mode: ( For Window 2000 or below)
Windows will show "Found New Hardware" when the player is first connected. The player will
then recognized as a new
player
under My computer.Please note that, depends on the hardware
configuration, it may take several minutes for Window to recognize the
player
for the first time.

The PC we mentioned in this manual, except otherwise specified, refers to desk computer or
notebook computer with Windows operating system; All products, players, digital audio players
we mentioned in this manual, except otherwise specified, refer to digital audio player.

MTP mode: ( for Windows XP with WMP 10)
There will be an additional drive called MTP Player which represents the

Notes:
1. There is no need to power on the player when connected to your PC.
2. If the player is interrupted during recording, such as battery removal,
you may need to format the player.

Disconnecting The Player From PC
MSC mode:
Click the icon on the system tray.
When the interface "Unplug or Eject Hardware" appears, click "Stop".
When the "Safe To Remove Hardware" popup window appears, click the [ok] button and
disconnect the USB cable from PC.
MTP mode:
Disconnect the player from the computer once file transfer is completed.
WARNING: Do not unplug the player when the screen is still displaying "Do Not Disconnect".
as doing so may corrupt the files stored in the player and you will need to re-format the MP3
player. If the player encounter abnormal interruption during recording such as battery removal,
you may also need to re-format it.

MSC mode ( Windows 2000 or below )
After the
player
is connected to computer for uploading/downloading, no special operation other
than simple "drag-drop" is needed.
2. Double click "my computer" in Windows, you will find a new icon "removable disk", which

Note:
You can also drag and drop files to the player in Windows XP.
All audio files should be placed in "Media" folder and other files in "Data" folder.
CAUTION:
ONLY UNPLUG THE PLAYER WHEN ALL DOWNLOAD PROCEDURES ARE
COMPLETED.
There are two ways for file transfer
- Drag and drop for general file
- DRM file transfer through Windows Media Player

Synchronization using Windows Media Player 9 (Windows ME, 2000) under MSC mode
DRM File Transfer
1. Run Windows Media Player 9
2. Connect your player to the computer

4. Drag the desired songs in PC to the left pane.

4. Select "Sync". You can sync your files to your players in 2 ways:
i. Drag your files to the sync list in the left pane. Click"Start Sync"and the
synchronization starts.

"Player Setup" pop up, choose "Synchronize this player with this library for this
session only" and click Finish.
