The Nakamichi BX-300E incorporates a wealth
of original Nakamichi technology, such as the
Discrete Three-Head system, a Direct-Drive
Asymmetrical, Diffused-Resonance Dual
Capstan Transport etc. The deck is designed

Besonderheiten, fir die Nakamichi berithmt ist,
wie z. B. drei separate Tonképfe in “Discrete”

keinen Fall in der Nahe von Wasser
benutzen z.B. bei einer Badewanne,

feuchten Kellerraum, in der Nahe eines
Schwimmbeckens, etc.

8.Liftung—Beim Aufstellen darauf achten,
daB die Liiftung des Gerats nicht
beeintrachtigt wird. Z.B. sollte das Gerat
nicht auf einem Bett, Sofa, Teppich oder
Ahnlicher weicher Unteriage, welche die
Liftungsschlitze am Boden blockieren
kann, betrieben werden und nicht in ein
geschiossenes Bicherregal, Kabinett 0.8.
eingebaut werden.
9.Warme—Das Gerat sollte von
Warmequellen wie Heizkérpern, Ofen oder
anderen Geraten (auch warmeabgebenden
Verstarkern) entfernt aufgestelit werden.
10.Stromversorgung—Das Gerat darf nur an
eine Stromversorgung wie auf dem Gerat
und in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben angeschlossen werden.

au plafond que de la maniére

8.Aération - L’appareil doit étre place de
facon teile que son emplacement ou sa
position permette une aération correcte.
Par exemple, l'appareil ne doit pas étre
placé sur un lit, un sofa, une moquette ou
toute autre surface similaire qui puisse
obstruer les orifices prévus pour l'aération;
ou placé dans un endroit encastreé, tel que
sur une étagére ou dans un cabinet qui
puisse géner la circulation d'air par les
orifices prévus pour l'aération.
9.Chaleur - L’appareil doit étre placé loin
des sources de chaleur, telles que
radiateurs, registres de chaleur, fourneaux,
et autres appareils (y compris les
amplificateurs) qui dégagent de la chaleur.
10.Sources d'énergie - L'appareil ne doit étre

11.Grounding or Polarization — Precautions
should be taken so that the grounding or
polarization means of an appliance is not
defeated.
12.Power-Cord Protection — Power-supply
cords should be routed so that they are
not likely to be walked on or pinched by
items placed upon or against them, paying
particular attention to cords at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the appliance.
13.Cleaning — The appliance should be
cleaned only as recommended by the
manufacturer.
14.Nonuse Periods — The power cord of the
appliance should be unplugged from the
outlet when left unused for a long period of
time.
15.Object and Liquid Entry — Care should be
taken so that objects do not fall and liquids
are not spilled into the enclosure through
openings.
16.Damage Requiring Service — The
appliance should be serviced by qualified
service personnel when:
A. The power-supply cord or the plug has
been damaged; or,
B. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been
spilled into the appliance: or,
C. The appliance has been exposed to
rain; or,
D. The appliance does not appear to
operate normally or exhibits a marked
change in performance; or,
E. The appliance has been dropped, or the
enclosure damaged.
17.Servicing — The user shoutd not attempt
to service the appliance beyond that
described in the operating instruction. All
other servicing should be referred to
qualified service personnel.

12.Netzkabel—Das Netzkabel soll so plaziert
werden, da8 keine Gefahr der

MGbel) besteht. Besondere Vorsicht ist an
den Steckern, Verteilern und an der
AnschluBstelle am Gerat geboten.
13.Reinigung—Das Gerat soll nur nach
Angaben des Herstellers gereinigt werden.
14.Nichtbenutzung—Bei langerer
Nichtbenutzung sollte der Netzstecker des
Gerats aus der Steckdose gezogen
werden.
15.Fremdk6rper und Flissigkeiten—Es ist
darauf zu achten, daB keine Fremdkdérper
oder Fliissigkeiten in das Gerat gelangen.
16.Beschadigungen—Das Gerat soilte von
qualifiziertem Service-Personal repariert
werden, wenn-
A. das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschadigt wurden.
B. Fremdk6rper oder Flissigkeiten in das
Gerat eingedrungen sind.
GC. das Gerat Regen ausgesetzt war.
D. das Gerat nicht normai funktioniert oder
auffallende Abweichungen im Verhalten
festgestellt werden.

17.Service —AuBer den in der
Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen
Handgriffen sollten keinerlei Service-
Arbeiten vom Benutzer vorgenommen
werden. Samtliche Wartung und
Reparaturen nur von qualifiziertem
Service-Personal durchfithren lassen.

d’alimentation de !'appareil doit étre
débranché de la prise de courant lorsque
l'appareil n’est pas utilisé pendant.une
longue période.
15.Insertion d’objet ou de liquide - Le plus
grand soin doit étre apporté afin que des
objets ne tombent pas ou que du liquide
ne soit pas verse dans l'appareil par les
orifices.
16.Dommages qui exigent un recours au
service d'entretien - L’appareil doit étre
réparé par un spécialiste qualifie lorsque:
A. Le cable d’alimentation ou !a prise a été
endommagé; ou
B. Des objets sont tombés, ou du liquide a
été renversé dans l'appareil; ou
C. L'appareil a été exposé a fa pluie; ou
D. L'appareil ne semble pas fonctionner
normalement ou un changement
notable apparait dans la performance,
ou
E. On a laissé tomber l'appareil ou
Vintérieur a été endommage.
17.Entretien - L'utilisateur doit se contenter
de réparer l'appareil a la mesure
décrite dans tes instructions de
fonctionnement. Toute autre réparation doit
étre confiée a un spécialiste qualifié.

Branchements
After consulting the instructions for your
amplifier or receiver, use the shielded cables
with RCA plugs (provided with the deck) to
make connections as shown in the chart.
Take care not to mix up left and right
channels. While making connections, the
power to the deck and to the amplifier should
be switched off.
Headphones
Standard stereo headphones with an
impedance cf 8—150 ohms may be
connected to the headphone jack.
Microphone Connections
The BX-30CE pessesses only line input facilities.
When microchones are to be used for
recording, 2 separate microphone mixer with
a line output must be connected to this -
deck's line input terminals.
Nakamichi ctfers the optional MX-100
Microphone Mixer, which provides three
inputs for let. right and center blend (L+R)
microphones. To power the MX-100, the
separate PS-100 Power Supply is required.
Remote Control
The optionai remote control unit RM- 200
permits operatica of the deck’s tape transport
functions frcem any convenient location.

Beachten Sie die Anweisungen in der
Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Verstarkers oder
Receivers und stellen Sie dann die ndtigen
Anschlisse her, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt.
Verwenden Sie hierzu die abgeschirmten
NF-Kabel mit Cinch-Steckern, die dem
Cassettendeck beigegeben sind. Achten Sie
darauf, linke und rechte Kandle nicht zu
vertauschen. Wahrend Sie die Verbindungen
vornehmen, sollten die Netzschalter des
Verstarkers und des Cassettendecks
ausgeschaltet sein.
Kopfthorer
An die Buchse auf der Vorderseite des
Cassettendecks kénnen normale
Stereo-Kopfhérer mit 6,5-mm-Klinkenstecker
und einer impedanz von 8—150 Ohm
angeschiossen werden.
Mikrofon-Anschliisse
Da das BX-300E nur Line-Eingange
(Hochpegeleingange) besitzt, muB fur
Mikrofonaufnahmen ein getrenntes
Mikrofon-Mischpult mit Hochpegelausgangen
an die Line-Eingange des Cassettendecks
angeschlossen werden.
Nakamichi bietet hierzu ais Sonderzubehor
den Mikrofon-Mischer MX-100 an, der drei
Eingdnge fiir links, rechts und Mittenmikrofon
(L+R) besitzt. Fir die Stromversorgung des
MX-100 ist das separate Netzteil PS-100
erforderlich.
Fernbedienung :
Die als Sonderzubehor erhaitliche
Fernbedienungseinheit RM-200 erlaubt die
Steuerung aller Bandlauffunktionen von einem
beliebigen Ort aus.
Apres avoir consulté le mode d'emploi de
l'amplificateur ou de l’ampli-tuner utilisé,
procéder aux branchements indiqués sur le
tableau a l'aide des cordons a fiche RCA
fournis d'origine. Veiller a ne pas intervertir
les canaux droit et gauche. Absolument
couper I'alimentation du magnétocassette
ainsi que de !’amplificateur avant d’effectuer
les branchements.
Casque d’écoute
La prise pour casque d’écoute est prévue
pour des casques d’écoute stéréophoniques
de 8 a 150 ohms d’impédance.
Branchement de microphones
Le BX-300E n'est pourvu que d’entrées de ligne.
Si des microphones sont nécessaires pour
un enregistrement, i! convient de faire appel
a un mélangeur pourvu d'une sortie de ligne
et du brancher sur les prises d’entrée de
ligne de ce magnétocassette.
Nakamichi propose en option le mélangeur
pour microphone MX-100, doté de trois
entrées pour microphone droit, gauche et
central de mélange de canaux. Le bloc
d'alimentation PS-100 est d’autre part
nécessaire pour animer le MX-100.
Commande a distance
L'unité de commande a distance proposée en
option, RM-200, permet de commander toutes
les fonctions de transport de bande de la
platine a partir de tout endroit de votre choix.
