Instruction Book

• The parts of your Coracle 250 are : 1- hull. 2- oars.
3- front crossrib. 4- central crossrib. 5- transom. 6 & 7-
central floorboards. 8- rear floorboard (one notch).
Identify the front crossrib, it has an oval hole (mortise) which will fit
into the tenon on the keel (below).

• Unfold the Coracle and put it on its side. With the right hand take the
front crossrib upside down (mortise facing the stern).
• On the opposite gunwale slide the notch on top of the crossrib into
the screw head.
• Stretch the gunwale and do the same on your side.

• Put back the boat on the ground and swivel the crossrib in place. It
may help putting a foot inside of the boat, on the keel.
• Put in place the bench holder which will be aligned with the keel.

• Do the same with the central crossrib.
• Present the two central floorboards together, opposite to each
other. Once in place, turn the latch to secure them in place.

• Asszemble the transom. The reinforcement parts will be finally inside
the boat. Proceed like previously (below).
• Take care not to stuck
the inflating hoses
behind the transom.

• Get the rear floorboard in place.
• Inflate the stabilairs (not too much). • Put the oarlocks in place.
To dismantle them, pinch
their ends with two fingers.
• Turn the latch.
CORACLE DISMANTLING
• Deflate the stabilairs
• Get off the floorboards
• Get off the crossribs, from the stern to the bow.
• Fold the hull and tighten it with the straps.
