RAID 325
Instruction Book

• Get your parts out of the bag : check how they are stored in the bag
and how the skin is plied. It will help you when you will get the
disassembled parts back in the bag after your paddling session.
• Display them on a flat and clean surface.
Your Narak Cross bag contents : 1- skin. 2- inflatable seat.
3- crossribs. 4- bow part. 5- aluminum tubes. 6- stern part.

• Start by assembling all the tubes.
• Find the keel tube (without ends).
• Align all the red marks on the other tubes.
• This way at the other end you identify two long tubes
(upper tubes) and two short ones (lower tubes).

• Take the bow part and slide it
into the keel tube (red marks)
• Clip all the crossribs to the
keel tube, following the color
code. All the marks has to be
below and on the same side
(see below).
• Do the same for the rear

• Go to the rear of the boat. Take the two longer tubes and connect
them to the top nipples, by sliding the blue caps.
(red caps go at the bow)
• Clip the upper tubes to the crossribs, all the way to the front end.
• Do the same for the rear

• put in place
the last remai-
ning short tubes
(deck tubes)
(red at the front,
blue at the rear).
• Connect the
bow part to
the top tubes.
• Now you can
connect the
lower tubes and
clip them all the
way to the rear
end.

• Clip them at the top of the central crossribs.
• Your frame is assembled.

FOOTREST INSTALLATION
When assembling for the first time your kayak, you have to adjust the
footrest, connected to the seat.
The footrest will be clipped on
the keel tube.
Put it in place between crossrib n°1 and
2.
Inflate the seat and put it in the kayak. Tie the seat straps at the rear around
the crossrib.

Do the same at the front with the
narrow straps.
Seat into the kayak and adjust the straps to the legth of your legs.
Connect the footrest to the seat with
the large straps.

• Get the frame into the skin.
• Be careful that the frame has to be
perfectly centered in the skin : the top
tube has to be aligned with the black
triangle on deck.
• Push the frame in the skin to the max.
ASSEMBLY FOLLOWING

• At the rear, push the stern towards the ground to get the frame in the
skin. The «shark tooth» (red arrow) has to be released off the stern part
(pull the pin).
• Attach the lateral straps below the cockpit rim. The two straps have to
go over the top tube (red arrow), then one of them go around the lower
tube, thenthey are attached together.

• Prepare for tensioning the frame : put the «shark tooth» in its gauge,
get the cord out and the handle. Put one heel on the «shark tooth» and
the handle in the opposite hand.

• Push at the same time with your foot on the shark tooth and pull with
your arm on the cord. The pin will automatically block the tooth in place
when it’s OK.
• Zip the rear deck and put the velcros together.

• Fold the zip end along the stern.
REAR END
• Fold the first part of the cover.
• Fold the second part of the cover. • Attach the velcro strap.
• Put in place the seat (see footrest installation pages)
• Inflate the stabilairs (low pressure).
Your Raid 325 is ready to hit the water !

• Disassembly of the kayak : do the other way round. Deflate
the stabilairs. Unzip the rear deck. Untie the side straps that tie the skin
to the frame. At the stern, pull on the pin that block the «shark tooth».
Pull the tooth with the cord.
Get the frame out of the skin. Disassemble the tubes and the crossribs.
Fold the skin on its side, the deck on the inside. The kayak has to be dry,
if you have to fold it with still water on it, don’t delay to get it out of its
bag to avoid moisture.
• Kayak maintenance : rince your boat on the inside and outside
after each outing at sea. Rub with a sponge to get the salt away.
Wash it with soapy water if necessary. Dry it carefully before storing
it in its bag for a long period of time. Apply silicone or other spray
to prevent corrosion inside the tubes.
