Connect the supplied component video cable (RCA 3)
to connect your DVD player to the COMPONENT IN on the
projector.
NOTE : Power down all equipment before making connections.
Connect the supplied power
cable.
Turn on the main power switch.
To turn on the main power to the projector, press the Main
Power switch to the ON position ( I ).
Turn on the projector.
To turn on the power to the projector, press and hold the ON/STAND BY
button on the projector cabinet or the POWER button on the remote con-
trol for a minimum of 2 seconds.
NOTE : To turn off the projector, press and hold the ON/STAND BY but-
ton or the POWER button for a minimum of 2 seconds.
Set up the projector.
To adjust the projector's focus and zoom, use
the Focus ring and the Zoom lever on the lens.
Connectez le composant câble vidéo (RCA 3) pour

Collegate il cavo del componente video in dotazione

Impostate il proiettore.
Per regolare la messa a fuoco e lo zoom del

Conecte el cable de vídeo componente (RCA3) para

If necessary, change the Aspect Ratio according to the current input signal.
From the menu, select [Image] [Aspect Ratio]. Select an appropriate
aspect ratio.
First move the projector to center the image horizontally on the screen.
1. From the menu, select [Setup] [Screen]. Select "16:9" in the Screen Type. 2. Use the Position slide bar to adjust the vertical position between top and bottom. 3.If necessary, change the Aspect Ratio according to the current input
signal.
From the menu, select [Image] [Aspect Ratio]. Select an appropriate
aspect ratio.

Adjust the Tilt Foot
(1) Lift the front edge of the projector.
(2) Push up the Adjustable Tilt Foot lever on
the front of the projector to extend the
Adjustable Tilt Foot (maximum height).
(3) Push down the AdjustableTilt Foot lever.
(4) Lower the front of the projector to the
desired height and release the
Adjustable Tilt Foot lever to lock the
Adjustable Tilt Foot. There is approxi-
mately 7 degrees of adjustment up for
the front of the projector.

•Check that the power cable is plugged in and that the power button on the projector cabi-
net or the remote control is on. See pages E-17 and 18.
•Ensure that the lamp cover is installed correctly. See page E-43.
•Check to see if the projector has overheated or the lamp usage exceeds 2100 hours (up to
3100 hours : Eco mode). If there is insufficient ventilation around the projector or if the
room where you’re presenting is particularly warm, move the projector to a cooler location.
•The lamp may fail to light. Wait a full minute and then turn on the power again.
•The lamp has reached the end of its usable life. Replace the lamp.
•Use the SOURCE button on the projector cabinet or the VIDEO, the S-VIDEO, the
COMP.V (COMPONENT), the COMP. (COMPUTER), the DVI or the VIEWER button on
the remote control to select your source (Video, S-Video, Component, Computer, DVI
(DIGITAL) or Viewer). See page E-19.
•Ensure your cables are connected properly.
•Use menus to adjust the brightness and contrast. See page E-29.
•Remove the lens cap.
•Reset the settings or adjustments to factory preset levels using the Reset in the Menu.
See page E-37.
When using with a notebook PC, be sure to connect between the projector and the note-
book PC before turning on the power to the notebook PC. In most cases signal cannot be
output from RGB output unless the notebook PC is turned on after connecting with the
projector.
*If the screen goes blank while using your remote control, it may be the result of the com-
puter's screen-saver or power management software.
*If you accidentally hit the POWER button on the remote control, wait 90 seconds and then
press the POWER button again to resume.
•Reposition the projector to improve its angle to the screen. See page E-19.
•Use the 3DReform function to correct the trapezoid distortion. See page E-20.
•Adjust the focus. See page E-20.
•Reposition the projector to improve its angle to the screen. See page E-19.
•Ensure that the distance between the projector and screen is within the adjustment range
of the lens. See page E-12.
•Condensation may form on the lens if the projector is cold, brought into a warm place and
is then turned on. Should this happen, let the projector stand until there is no condensation
on the lens.
•Use the SOURCE button on the projector cabinet or the VIDEO, the S-VIDEO, the
COMP.V (COMPONENT), the COMP. (COMPUTER), the DVI or the VIEWER button on
the remote control to select your source (Video, S-Video, Component, Computer, DVI
(DIGITAL) or Viewer). See page E-19.
•Adjust the computer image manually with the Position/Clock in the Image. See page E-32.
•Install new batteries. See page E-10.
•Make sure there are no obstacles between you and the projector.
•Stand within 22 feet (7 m) of the projector. See page E-10.
•See the Status Indicator on page E-45.
•Press the AUTO ADJUST button on the projector cabinet or the AUTO ADJ. button on the
remote control.
•Adjust the computer image manually with the Position/Clock in the Image. See page E-32.

Quando usate l’unità con un PC notebook, assicuratevi di effettuare il collegamento tra il

non è possibile emettere i segnali dall’uscita RGB a meno che non accendiate il PC note-
book dopo aver effettuato il collegamento del proiettore.
*Se lo schermo dovesse diventare bianco durante l’uso del telecomando, questo può essere
dovuto alla funzione salvaschermo del computer o al software di risparmio energia.
*Se premete accidentalmente il tasto POWER sul telecomando, aspettate 90 secondi, poi

•Vérifier que le câble d’alimentation est branché et que la touche d’alimentation du coffret

•Vérifier si le projecteur est en surchauffe ou si la durée d’utilisation de la lampe a dépassé

du projecteur est insuffisante ou si la pièce où la présentation a lieu est particulièrement
chaude, déplacer le projecteur vers un endroit plus frais.

•S’assurer que les câbles sont connectés correctement.

Lors de l’utilisation d’un PC portable, s’assurer de connecter le projecteur au PC portable
avant de mettre le PC portable sous tension. Dans la plupart des cas le signal ne peut pas
être envoyé de la sortie RGB sauf si le PC portable est allumé après la connexion au pro-
jecteur.
*Si l’écran devient vierge lors de l’utilisation de la télécommande, cela peut venir du logiciel
économiseur d’écran ou de gestion d’énergie de l’ordinateur.
*Si la touche POWER de la télécommande est heurtée accidentellement, attendre 90 sec-
ondes et ensuite appuyer à nouveau sur la touche POWER pour reprendre l’opération.
•Repositionner le projecteur pour améliorer l’angle par rapport à l’écran. Voir page F-19.
•Utiliser la fonction 3D Reform pour corriger la distorsion trapézoïdale. Voir page F-20.
•Ajuster la mise au point. Voir page F-20.

•Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzkabel eingesteckt und die Netztaste am

Notebook-PC eine Verbindung herstellen, bevor Sie den Notebook-PC einschalten. In den
meisten Fällen kann das Signal erst dann vom RGB-Ausgang ausgegeben werden, wenn
der Notebook-PC nach dem Anschluss an den Projektor eingeschaltet worden ist.
* Wenn das Bild während der Benutzung der Fernbedienung abschaltet, liegt das
möglicherweise daran, dass der Bildschirmschoner des Computers oder der Power
Management-Software aktiviert ist.
* Wenn Sie versehentlich auf die POWER-Taste auf der Fernbedienung gedrückt haben,
warten Sie bitte 90 Sekunden und drücken Sie die POWER-Taste erst dann noch einmal,
um den Betrieb fortzusetzen.
•Positionieren Sie den Projektor neu, um dessen Winkel zum Bildschirm zu verbessern.

•Compruebe que el cable de alimentación está conectado y que el botón de alimentación del
proyector o del mando a distancia está activado. Consulte la página S-17 y 18.
•Asegúrese de que la cubierta de la lámpara está instalada correctamente. Consulte la
página S-43.
•Compruebe si el proyector se ha recalentado o si el tiempo de uso de la lámpara excede las
2100 horas (hasta 3100 horas: modo Eco). Si no hay suficiente ventilación alrededor del
proyector o si la habitación en que está realizando la presentación es particularmente
calurosa, traslade el proyector a un lugar más fresco.
•Puede que la lámpara no se encienda. Espere un minuto y vuelva a activar la alimentación.
•La lámpara ha alcanzado el final de su vida útil. Sustituya la lámpara.
•Utilice el botón SOURCE situado en la cubierta del proyector o los botones VIDEO, S-
VIDEO, COMP.V (Componente), COMP. (Ordenador), DVI o el botón VIEWER en el mando
a distancia para seleccionar la señal de origen (Vídeo, SVídeo, Compuesto, Ordenador,
DVI (DIGITAL) o Visor). Consulte la página S-19.
•Asegúrese de que los cables están conectados correctamente.
•Use los menús para ajustar el brillo y el contraste. Consulte la página S-29.
•Quite la tapa del objetivo.
•Reinicie la configuración o los ajustes a los niveles predeterminados en fábrica utilizando la
opción Reinicio en el menú. Consulte la página S-37.
Si utiliza un PC portátil, asegúrese de realizar la conexión entre el proyector y el PC portátil
antes de encender el ordenador portátil. En la mayoría de los casos la señal no podrá ser
emitida desde la salida RGB a menos que se encienda el PC portátil después de haber sido
conectado al proyector.
*Si la pantalla queda en blanco mientras usa el mando a distancia, es probable que se deba
a la acción del protector de pantalla o a la función de ahorro de energía del ordenador.
* Si accidentalmente pulsa el botón POWER del mando a distancia, espere 90 segundos y
luego pulse el botón POWER nuevamente para reanudar la operación.
•Mueva el proyector para mejorar el ángulo de éste respecto de la pantalla. Consulte la
página S-19.
•Use la función 3D Reform para corregir la distorsión trapezoidal. Consulte la página S-20.
•Ajuste el enfoque. Consulte la página S-20.

•Asegúrese de que la distancia entre el proyector y la pantalla está dentro del margen de
ajuste del objetivo. Consulte la página S-12.
•Si se enciende el proyector luego de trasladarlo desde un lugar frío a uno caluroso, puede
producirse condensación en el objetivo. Si esto sucediera, deje el proyector reposar hasta
que ya no haya condensación en el objetivo.
•Utilice el botón SOURCE situado en la cubierta del proyector o los botones VIDEO, S-
VIDEO, COMP.V (Componente), COMP. (Ordenador), DVI o el botón VIEWER en el mando
a distancia para seleccionar la señal de origen (Vídeo, SVídeo, Compuesto, Ordenador,
DVI (DIGITAL) o Visor). Consulte la página S-19.
•Ajuste manualmente la imagen proveniente del ordenador con la opción Posición/Reloj en
la imagen. Consulte la página S-32.
•Instale pilas nuevas. Consulte la página S-10.
•Compruebe que no hay obstáculos entre usted y el proyector.
•Párese a una distancia de máximo 22 pies (7 m) del proyector. Consulte la página S-10.
•Vea los mensajes del indicador de estado más arriba. Consulte la página S-45.
•Pulse el botón AUTO ADJUST en la cubierta del proyector o el botón AUTO ADJ. en el
mando a distancia.
•Ajuste manualmente la imagen proveniente del ordenador con la opción Posición/Reloj en
