Safety and Warnings
Intended Use
This product is for domestic and indoor
use only.
General Warnings
•If the electric blanket is folded, crumpled or used abnormally, the
blanket can overheat which will activate the permanent protection
function. This cannot be repaired at home and the product must be
returned to the retailer.
•If the power supply for the electric blanket is lower than the
recommended voltage, the temperature of the blanket will rise
slowly, and the heating ability is relatively low. This is not a
malfunction of the blanket and the user should pay attention to the
voltage of the supply socket.
•The indicator lamp and electric blanket circuit are connected in
parallel. The indicator lamp does not influence the electric blankets
ability to generate heat. If the lamp is broken, care should be taken
to ensure the electric blanket is functioning properly.
•Use only as an under blanket (use similar to a bedsheet, not a
duvet).
•Ensure the electric blanket can be laid flat on your mattress.
•Do not use pins on the appliance. Do not scratch with sharp objects
or beat the object with blunt devices. Do not attempt to secure the
electric blanket with pins or other metal objects.
•Use the electric blanket under the body only. Do not wrap your body
with the blanket or use in any other way.
Regular Check-Ups
Ensure the power cable and
plug are not damaged before
plugging into a socket.

General Warnings
•Do not turn on the electric blanket when there are heavy objects or
folded bedding on it to avoid it overheating.
•Do not expose the electric blanket to direct sunlight.
•Do not iron the blanket and avoid damaging the insulation of the
heating wires.
•Do not use with any other heating appliances e.g., hot water bottle.
•Do not use with anything that can start a fire on the bed such as
cigarettes, sparks, etc.
•Switch off the blanket or pull the plug when leaving the house or not
using the blanket.
•Do not dry clean this electric blanket.
•Children under 3 should not use this appliance due to their inability
to react to overheating.
•After the electric blanket has been turned on, users should
supervise it for an hour to prevent any possible fire.
•This product is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
•Wash by hand. Do not use if wet. If you want to clean the electric
blanket, first disconnect the product from the power supply and
ensure it is at room temperature. Then, put it on a flat surface and
wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Once cleaning is finished, put
the blanket in a cool and airy place and let it dry completely before
using.
•Do not let the control unit or power cord get wet.

General Warnings
•When not in use, the blanket should be stored in a dry place. When
storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Do not
crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
•After storing, the blanket should be carefully checked before use to
make sure the control or cords are safe. Do not switch on the
power when the blanket is not totally safe.
•Do not attempt to perform any repairs on the electric blanket
yourself.
•The power cord of the appliance cannot be changed or repaired. If
the cord is damaged, the appliance must be disposed of.
•Do not use the electric blanket on an adjustable bed.
•If a heating wire has been cut, do not attempt to repair it by
yourself. Please contact the retailer in this circumstance.
•For continuous or all-night use, please set the switch button to “1”.
•Do not try to repair a fuse link or thermal link. The appliance must
be returned to the retailer if a link has ruptured.
Users must observe all the above points. Failure to do so may
result in the blanket overheating which could result in a fire,
bodily injury, or property loss.

Operating the Product
•Lay the electric blanket flat on the bed. The end with no controller is
the foot end of the blanket.
•Fix the four corner fasteners of the electric blanket on the four
corners of the bed or mattress with the non-metal belts.
•Only spread bedsheets on the blanket.
•Make sure they are laid flat to help conduct heat and so you are
able to see if the blanket is uneven. If everything is flat on the bed,
the electric blanket can be used safely.
Operating the RT8 Controller
•This controller can control the left and righthand side of the electric
blanket separately.
•When turning on the controller, the default setting is ‘5’ for both
sides. Press the left/right buttons to adjust the left/right temperature
settings, respectively.
•The displayed value represents the current settings. The settings
increase from 1-9. The higher the setting, the higher the
temperature. Setting the blanket to 0 means it is not heated.
•To preheat the blanket, adjust the temperature setting between 6
and 10. The power indicator lamp should glow, and the blanket will
start to heat. Preheating usually takes around 30-50 minutes.
•The default timing is 10 hours auto-off. You can set a 10 hour auto-
off or a 2 hour auto-off timer, depending on your requirements.
After the timer ends, the indicator for 2 hour auto-off flashes.
•If using all night or continuously, set the temperature to setting 1.
•Ensure the controller does not get covered by the quilt, pillows etc.

Operating the Product
To guarantee safe operation, pay attention to the following:
•Pay attention and observe the power cords, plug and soft cords that
are used to connect the appliance to the controller. Check whether
there are any unusual situations before use. If you are uncertain
about the condition and whether it is safe or not, do not continue to
use the blanket. Return it to the retailer.
•During use, checks should be regularly carried out to ensure the
electric blanket is lying flat, fitted firmly and not folded over.
•Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If
there are such signs or if the appliance has been misused, return it
to the retailer.
•The heating wire in the electric blanket should be spaced evenly
with no crossings or folds between wires. If this occurs, do not use
the blanket, and return it to the retailer.
•Avoid jumping on the bed if the blanket has been laid on it. If this
happens, please check to ensure every part of the blanket is
normal.
•When any accident or damage takes place (smoking, fire, abnormal
sound/smell, etc.), you must first disconnect the blanket from the
power supply by unplugging the power cable, before checking for
damage.
Electrical Field Effect
•When using the blanket, you may feel a tingling sensation. This is
known as an ‘electric field effect’ and happens throughout all
brands of electric blanket.
•It is caused by an electromagnetic field (EMF) and some people are
more susceptible to feeling it than others. It is no cause for concern
and is not an electric shock.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage
•To clean the electric blanket, wipe it down with a soft damp cloth
and mild detergent by hand.
•Do not put the controller in water.
•Allow it to dry thoroughly before using or storing the product.
•Do not use industrial solvents to clean this blanket.
