ThisManualhasbeenpreparedtoassistyouinthecor-
rectprocedureforrunning–in,drivingandoperatingand
forthemaintenanceofyournewtractor.ReadthisMan-
ualcarefully.Yourtractorisintendedforuseinnormal
andcustomaryagriculturalapplications.
Ifatanytimeyourequireadviceconcerningyourtractor,
donothesitatetocontactyourNEWHOLLANDdealer.
Hehasfactorytrainedpersonnel,genuinemanufacturers’
partsandthenecessaryequipmenttocarryoutallyour
servicerequirements.
Yourtractorhasbeendesignedandbuilttogivemaxi-
mumperformance,economyandeaseofoperationun-
derawidevarietyofoperatingconditions.Priortodeliv-
ery,thetractorwascarefullyinspected,bothatthefac-
toryandbyyourdealertoensurethatitreachesyouin
optimumcondition.T omaintainthisconditionandensure
trouble–freeoperation,itisimportantthattheroutineser-
vices,asspeciedin7-1ofthisManual,arecarriedout
attherecommendedintervals.
CLEANINGTHETRACTOR
Yourtractorisastate-of-the-artmachinewithuser
friendlycontrols.Thisshouldbeborneinmindwhen
cleaningthetractor,particularlyifusingahighpressure
washer.Eventhougheveryprecautionhasbeentaken
tosafeguardelectricalcomponentsandconnections,the
pressuregeneratedbysomeofthesemachinesissuch
thatcompleteprotectionagainstwateringresscannotbe
guaranteed.
Whenusingahighpressurewasher,donotstandtoo
closetothetractorandavoiddirectingthejetatelectronic
components,electricalconnections,breathers,seals,
llercaps,etc.Neverdirectacoldwaterjetatahot
engineorexhaust.

tionsandfollowtheadviceofferedbeforeoperatingthe
tractor.
FIRST50HOURSERVICE
InSection11,atthebackofthisManual,youwillndthe
50–hourservicereports.
Afteryouhaveoperatedthetractorfor50hours,takeyour
tractor,togetherwiththisManual,toyourdealer.Hewill
thenperformthefactoryrecommended50–hourservice
andcompletetheservicereportsheets11-1.Therst
sheet(page11–1)isthedealer’scopyandshouldbere-
movedbythedealeraftertheservicehasbeencarried
out.Thesecondsheet(page11–3)isyourcopyofthe
serviceperformed.Ensurethatyouandthedealersign
bothcopies.
SERVICEPARTS
Itshouldbepointedoutthatgenuinepartshavebeen
examinedandapprovedbytheCompany.Theinstallation
and/oruseof‘non-genuine’productscouldhavenegative
effectsuponthedesigncharacteristicsofyourtractorand
therebyaffectit’ssafety.TheCompanyisnotliablefor
anydamagecausedbytheuseof‘non–genuine’parts
andaccessories.Onlygenuinereplacementpartsshould
beused.Theuseofnon-genuinepartsmayinvalidate
legalapprovalsassociatedwiththisproduct.
Itisprohibitedtocarryoutanymodicationstothetrac-
torunlessspecicallyauthorised,inwriting,bytheAfter
SalesServicedepartmentoftheCompany.
WARRANTY
Yourtractoriswarrantedaccordingtolegalrightsinyour
countryandthecontractualagreementwiththeselling
dealer.Nowarrantyshall,however,applyifthetractor
hasnotbeenused,adjustedandmaintainedaccording
totheinstructionsgivenintheOperator’sManual.

andviceversa,addingorremovingballastandpicking
