Cleaning
General Cleaning
Important-please followthese instructionstoavoidpossible
damage totheunit,otherwise affectitsperformanceandorwarranty.
Disconnecttheproductfromtheelectrical supply beforecleaning.
Thewaterbathmustbecleanedatregularintervalswipingcaseworkwithaclothorspongesoakedin
warmsoapywater.
Thestainless steelcrevicefree tankwithsmoothcornersshould provideyearsof valuableserviceand
is resistantto chloridecontainingsolutions itis howeverimportantto avoidhighconcentrations of
halogens -especiallychloride.Withsuchahighquality andresistanttankit may showsymptomsof
thesehalogens as rust,whicharedepositsfromexternalsourcesin thewatersupply.
Werecommendalwaysempty thebathof liquidafteruseandwipeouttheinternalfacesof thetank
withanon-abrasiveclothandallowtodry.Anydepositscan beremovedwithnitricacid(10%)ona
cloth. WEARPROTECTIVEEQUIPMENT!
It is alsorecommendedto usean accessorylidto preventcontaminateslandingin bathliquids.
Descaling
Descalethestainless steeltankregularlyto maintain itin as newconditionensuringthecorrosion
resistanceandnormaloperatingconditions aremaintainedthroughoutitsworkinglife.Descaleby
adding1litreof vinegarto waterandgentlyheatingto 50°Cforan hour,empty andbrush thelime
away.
