Preparing the Iris Camera for Use –MEC-5-DFL-D5200-N85
1. Open Camera Carry Case and remove the camera with macro lens from the carry case and set
down.
2. Lift Illuminator out of foam-padded case

3. Remove lens cap and turn the camera on. Mode dial is set to A=Aperture priority
4. Pop up the built-in flash by pressing button on left side
5. Place illuminator onto lens with battery pack at the 6:00 position (Flash is in the up position, Mode=A):

6. Rotate Illuminator 90 degrees, until it snaps into place with opening at 12:00 position:
7. Turn on focus light power switch by rotating control knob clockwise:
8. Your camera is now ready to take iris photos. When complete with the photography, reverse these
steps to put the camera away.
