Scope
This guide provides basic instructions for installing, configuring and adding cards to the
CRC100R Controller. For detailed CRC100R user information, refer to the User Guide.
Fitting the CRC100R
The CRC100R is supplied on a mounting bracket for fixing into a suitable enclosure via
four fixing holes. Use 4 x M4 screws to secure the controller to a back plate.

Notes
1. To avoid damage to the reader, ensure that the reader voltage-setting jumper on the rear of the
unit is set to the correct voltage for the reader before you apply power to the CRC100.
2. The example is based on a maglock using the normally closed (fail safe) contacts. Use the
appropriate contacts according to the application.
3. With REX/Arming set to ‘REX’, the strike relay operates when ‘0 volts’ and ‘REX/Arming’ are
short-circuited.
With REX/Arming set to ‘ARM’, Cards will not read while ‘0 volts’ and ‘REX/Arming’ are short-
circuited.
