Eject and Power
The Eject and Power section includes functions to eject volumes,
optimize the system and shut down or restart the IES. Options are
self-explanatory in most cases.
•Volumes should be ejected before
removal to minimize the chance of
data corruption.The eject also stops
playback and the MultiMedia
application!
•The “Repair/Optimize IES” option can
be launched as frequently as
necessary. Optimization ensures the
best performance for the system.!
•The IES should be shut down using
the “Shutdown” option rather than
via the power supply breaker.This
minimizes the chance of hard disk
corruption.

3D Flight View
OVERVIEW
The 3D Flight View Application
shows a 3D moving map and
provides flight information such
as ETA, remaining distance, etc.
•Multiple virtual cameras, 2D and 3D!
•Automatic cycle of all cameras
at fixed intervals!
•Use UP/DOWN to manually
select a different camera!
•Flight Data page at end of
camera cycle

Manual modes allow the user to
interact with the map using the
remote control
•Activate Manual modes by!
•Opening Options (press
MENU)!
•Select Manual Mode and
then the desired mode
(Pan, rotate, Zoom)!
•Further instructions will
appear on screen !
•Cycle manual modes by
pressing SELECT

Navigate the Application Option Menu (press MENU
or hold SELECT) for additional functions
•Terrain Profiler (Shows terrain
elevation or sea depth profile)!
•City Display (Max number of cities
displayed on the screen)!
•Data Source (Onboard avionics or
simulation)!
•Other options are mostly self-
explanatory.

Flight Camera
OVERVIEW
Flight Camera shows video from the
installed flight camera(s) and allows
for recording and playback of the
flight. Press MENU to show the
Options menu.
•If multiple cameras, are available !
•Set up the number of camera
in the “Settings” Application!
•Use UP/DOWN to manually
select a different camera!
•Most of the recording, playback and
transfer options are self-explanatory
in the Option menu

MultiMedia
OVERVIEW
The MultiMedia Application can playback contents from all flash cards,
DVDs and CDs inserted in the optical drive.
•Music is organized in a
library!
•By artist, album, etc!
•By Folder!
•Movies and pictures are
organized by folder !
•It is always possible to
browse media contents
directly on the flash cards
inserted!

More Multimedia Options can be accessed by holding SELECT
•Most options are self-
explanatory!
•Note that some options
may not be accessible with
no disc inserted or when
playback is stopped!
•“Toggle DVD Menu” will
activate the DVD menu (if
available). !
TIP: Select “Toggle DVD
Menu”once again to resume the
movie without restarting it.!

desired View Mode is
displayed!
•Access all other items
using UP/DOWN!
•Click LEFT to dismiss
the View Menu

depending on location.

•Navigate to the Menu “More”
and select from the following
options, if present. !
•Resume. If possible,
resumes full screen
playback (all media
types)!
•Play and Stop Playback!
•Eject the current disk
(stop playback first)
