HELPFUL TIPS
NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.
Smoking
During rst use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal
with most new appliances. The smoking and odor is caused by the residues
burning o the nonstick Cooking Plates and the Heating Element. Allow
the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
Nonstick Cooking Plates
Each time you use your ROUND WAFFLE MAKER, it is recommended that you
coat the Cooking Plates lightly with a small amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable
oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray.
Only use heat-resistant, non-metal utensils when operating this unit. Metal
utensils could scratch or damage the nonstick coking griddle.
Cooking Tips
• For healthier waes, substitute whole grain our for white our.
• To keep waes crisp when reheating, always reheat in an oven instead of a
microwave. Preheat oven to 200˚ F and bake on a baking sheet or wire rack.
• DO NOT over-mix batter. Batter should be slightly lumpy so
that waes will be light and uy when cooked.
• You can store batter in a tightly-sealed container and refrigerate. Refrigerated
batter will remain fresh for up to two days. Because cold batter will thicken,
you may need to add a little milk or water to the batter before cooking.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Please take care of your ROUND WAFFLE MAKER by following these
simple instructions and precautions. Cleaning is a snap.
• Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
