Tips
• The larger the area around the device`s coupling piece, the more stable the connection.
• To ensure that the base plate is securely fastened to a tripod (head), screw the locking
screw, which is visible when the connecting place is taken off , further in.
• The quick-release coupling has a secure locking mechanism and is perfectly suited to the
heavy lenses and cameras available.

Bedienung
MiniConnect ist eine halbautomatische Schnellkupplung und besteht aus einer Grundplatte, die
entsprechende Kupplungsstücke sofort sicher verriegelt.
Das Kupplungsstück wird in das entsprechende Gewinde der Kamera des Objektivs oder des zu
befestigenden Gerätes eingeschraubt.
Sobald das Kupplungsstück nun in die Grundplatten-Öff nung abgesenkt wird, beginnt die au-
tomatische Verriegelung und das angesetzte Gerät wird gehalten. Zur endgültigen Befestigung
wird der Spannhebel entgegen der Pfeil-richtung gedrückt.
Um die Schnellverbindung wieder zu lösen, muss zuerst die Entriegelungstaste und dann der
Spannhebel in Pfeilrichtung bewegt werden, bis der Spannhebel einrastet. Die Entriegelung ist
mit dem Daumen und dem Zeigefi nger der rechten Hand möglich, während die andere Hand
die Kamera / das Objektiv festhält.
Die MiniConnect Schnellkupplung ist für die Verwendung auf Stativen oder zum Tragen um den
Hals vorbereitet. Zur Befestigung auf einem Stativgewinde befi nden sich am Boden der Grund-
platte entsprechende Gewinde zum Anbringen eines Tragegurtes dienen die beiden Gurtösen.
Achtung
Nach der automatischen Verriegelung bitte den Spannhebel entgegen der Pfeilrichtung drü-
cken und kontrollieren, dass dieser sich nicht mehr in Pfeilrichtung bewegen lässt.

Tipps
• Je größer die Fläche um das angesetzte Kupplungsstück herum ist, desto stabiler ist die
Verbindung.
• Um die Grundplatte abdrehsicher auf einem Stativkopf zu befestigen, schrauben Sie die
Arretierschraube, die sichtbar ist, wenn das Kupplungsstück abgenommen ist, tiefer ein.
• Die Schnellkupplung MiniConnect ist in Ihrer Verriegelung sicher und auch für handelsüb-
liche schwere Objektive oder Kameras bestens geeignet.

Handling
MiniConnect is a semi-automatic quick-release coupling consisting of a base plate which imme-
diately locks corresponding pieces securely.
The coupling piece is screwed into the corresponding thread of the camera, the lens or any other
device to be connected.
As soon as the coupling piece is lowered into the base plate opening, the automatic locking
mechanism is activated and the camera or other device is now securely hold. The clamping lever
is pulled very tight to permanently secure.
To release the connected pieces fi rst the release button then the clamping lever is moved in the
direction indicated by the arrow, until the clamping lever locks. Releasing can be done with the
thumb and the index fi nger of the right hand while the left holds the camera/lens.
The MiniConnect quick-release coupling has been designed to be used with tripods, to carry
around the neck. The appropriate threads for connecting with a tripod thread are on the backside
of the base plate, and the two eyes are for attaching a carrying strap.
Attention
After the automatic locking mechanism is activated, please push the clamping lever against
the direction of the arrow and please check that the lever cannot longer be pushed in direc-
tion of the arrow.
