Atlas Advance Safety Belt
Product Descripon & Intended Purpose
The Atlas Advance Safety Belt is designed to provide support to the user of the Atlas Advance Transfer Aid
over short distance transfers. It may also be used by two carers to assist the user rising from or lowering
into a seated posion, provided a suitable risk assessment is completed.
The user must be able to support their own weight and maintain balance for prolonged periods of me.
Product Features
 Wide Velcro fastening.
 Colour coded xing points.
Installaon Informaon: (Note: for detailed informaon refer to User Instrucons)
 Posion belt around the waist of the user and fasten the Velcro.
 Aach the xing straps to the buons on the transfer aid handle.
Safety Precauons
 Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 155Kg (24st).
 Always perform a risk assessment prior to use.
 NRS recommend using the safety belt at all mes for transfers over distances > 1—2 metres.
 Do not leave the user unaended when using the product.
 Do not leave in an area with unsupervised children present.
 Only for use with the Atlas Advance Transfer Aid.

Care & Maintenance
 Check the condition of the seams and stitching.
 Periodically inspect the product for signs of wear. Any suspected faults or damage should
immediately be reported to the supplier and the product taken out of use.

Cleaning
 Hand wash at a low temperature using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Do not machine wash.
Do not steam clean.
 Please check the suitability of the cleaning product before use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
cloths as this will permanently damage the belt and invalidate any warranty.
 Allow the product to thoroughly dry prior to use or storage.
