Maximum paper curl
Strong paper curl has an influence to quality and reliability of the system.
Quality issues and jams can occur by a curl bigger than 30 mm.
To measure the paper curl, cut a 200 mm long piece from the copy and lay it face down on a
table. Measure the distance between the tables surface and the highest point of the copy.
Curl related issues
Curl in mm Curl in inches
< 30 mm < 1.18" without issues
30 - 50 mm (0.59 - 1.18
in)
1.18" - 1.97" possible jams - unstable tab position
