Beforeoperating the unit,pleaseread the instructioncompletely

Basic precautions should .ilw.iy, br followed when using an electronic unit, including the following.
Please ensure that you roud all instructionsbeforeusing the unit.
DANGER To reduce the risk of electric shock
Always unplug the unitimmediatelyafterusing.
Always unplug the unitbefore cleaning.
WARNING To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electricshock, or injury to people,take the following Precautions:
Do not stand onthe unit.
Always insert the powerplug alltheway into the outlet to reduce the risk of short-circuiting
and fire.
Close and continuous supervision is necessary when the unit is used by people whoare limited
in theirability to movearound orto communicate with others.
Only usethe unit forthe purposedescribed in thisOperationManual.
The unit shouldnever be leftunattended when plugged in. Always unplug the unit when notin use.
Do notuseany accessories otherthanthoserecommended bythe manufacturer.
The unit should notbe used by children. Keep children away from the unit. Always return the
chair back the upright position and retract the calfrest completely to avoidinjury.Make sure
thatnothing isintheway whenretracting the calfrest. Always switch the Lock Switch tothe
Lock positionwhen the chair is not in use.
Keep powercordsaway from heatedsurfaces. Donot carry the unit bythe power cord. Do
not allowpins, or moisture to get inside the plug. See GroundingInstructions.
Always makesure all fabriccovered surfaces arenot damaged or rippedbeforeusing the unit.
Please check other areas to ensure that the fabric hasnot beenripped. Ifyou spot any
damages, stopusing the unit immediately no matter how small the damaged area might be,
unplug the powercord and have the unit repaired atan authorizedservice center.
Do notusethe unit in bathrooms or otherdamp or humid places asitmay cause electric
shock or cause the unit to malfunction. Donot spill liquid onto the controlpanel surface.
Do notusethe unit near heatingappliances or with electricblankets.
Never block theair openingsduringoperation and make sure that allair openings are kept
free of lint and hair. Donot drop or insertanything into anyofthe openings ofthe unit.
Never operate the unit if it hasa damagedpowercord or plug.Return the unit to the nearest
authorized service center ifitisnot workingproperly, orthe unit has been dropped or
damaged, or immersed in water.
Do notusethe unit outdoors.
Do notusethe unit in placeswhereaerosolsprayproducts areinuseor where oxygen is
being used.
When unplugging the unit, turn offall controls and turn offthe mainpowerswitchbefore
removing the plug from power outlet. Donotusethe unit with a transformer asitmay lead
to malfunction or electric shock.
Connect thisunit toa properlygrounded outlet only andusea surge protector to protect the electronics.
To avoid electric shock or injury, donot attempt to open or disassemble any part ofthe unit
on your own.
Do not repairpowercord on your ownifitis damaged. Please contact our company or
authorized servicedealer.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS T° avoid the risk of injury
To preventexcessivemassaging, donotusethe unit for more than a total of30 minutes
each session. Exercise extreme care when youuse thismode in order to avoid back pain or
injury. Use only for shortperiods of time (no morethan 30 minutes).
Never put yourfingers or feet inthe space between the backrest and seat, the backrest and
the armrest, the seat andthe coverunder the armrest. Donot place yourfingers orany part
of yourbodyunderneath the calfrest.
Do notusethe unit against bareskin.While thin clothing may increase effectiveness,
exposing the skin directly tothe massage may irritate the skin. Donotusethe unit while
wearing anything hard on your headsuch as hair accessories.etc. Donotuse excessivelystrong
massage action onthe back ofthe neck.
Persons with anyofthe conditionslisted below orwhoare undergoingmedicaltreatment
should consult with their physicians beforeusing the unit:
a) Pregnantwomen,people whoare ill, orin poor physical shape.
b) Peoplesuffering from back,neck, shoulder, orhip pain.
c) People who have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or otherpersonalmedical devices prone to
electronic interference. Consult with the manufacturer of your device before using the unit.
d) People with heart diseases.
e) People whoare prohibitedfromreceiving massages bya physician dueto thrombosis,
or aneurism,acutevaricoseveins or other circulatorydisorders.

(f) People with irregular curvatures ofthe spine.
While using the massager, ifyou start feeling sick orifthe massageseems painful,
stop using it immediately. While using the massager, ifthe pressure seems too strong,
press the Stop button immediately.
Do not fall asleep while using the unit. Donotusethe unit after alcohol consumption.
Do not allow children to play onthe lounger or operate the unit. The calfrest folds
down upon closing soa child could possibly be injured. Always leave the lounger in
an upright and closed position.
Do not allow children or pets to play onor around the unit especially
during operation.
Do not unplug the unit during operation. Unplug the unit immediately if there isa
power outage.
Please maintain the correct sitting posture, donotsitonthe calfrest orsit with
your legs resting onthe headrest, otherwise the unit may fall over.
Empty your pockets of hard objects before sitting onthe unit.
/!\G PRECAUTIONS - To avoid damaging the chair, follow precautions listed below
• The chair is designed fora maximumuser weight of 250lbs. Exceeding the maximum weight
may cause permanentdamage tothe massage mechanismand/orothercomponents ofthe
unit. Any such damage is deemed tobe user abuse andisnot coveredunder the LimitedWarranty.
• DO not treat the chairroughly, such as turning the chair onits side,turning the chair over or
standing onit.
• Do not treat the coveringroughly. Keep sharp or pointedobjectsaway from the covering of
the chair. Be careful notto drop cigarette ashes, lit cigarettes, matches or other hot objects
on the chair.
• if the massagerfunctionsabnormally,immediately turn off the power and have the
massager checked byan authorized service center.
• Do not attempt to repair the massager yourself.
• Do not repeatedly operate any switch at short intervals.Such action may cause the switch to
malfunction.
• Certainsounds may be heardcoming from the massager while in use. This isduetothe
structure ofthe massager andis normal.
• Make sure there areno obstacles behind the chairbeforereclining it. The chair can be
reclined toa maximumangle of 155°. Ifthe back hits a wall or pillar, the chair may
malfunction. Be sure to have ample space behind the chair. Recline the chairslowly in order
to avoidcontact with an obstacle.
• After each massage, turn the powerswitch,which is located onthe back side ofthe chair,
tothe "Off"position and turn its lockswitch tothe "Lock" position.
• Do not sit on the chair with wet hair/body.
• The unit must notbe used in "wet rooms"(i.e. saunas and swimmingpools) or outdoors.
GROUNDINGINSTRUCTIONS
• The product must be grounded. Ifit should malfunction, grounding provides the path of
least resistance for electriccurrent to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• This product is equipped with a cordhaving an equipment-groundingconductor and a
groundingplug. The plugmust be plugged into an appropriateoutlet that is properlyinstalled
and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Danger
• Improperconnection ofthe equipment-groundingconnector can result ina risk of electric
shock. Check with a qualifiedelectrician ifyouarein doubt asto whether the product is
properlygrounded. Donot modify the plugprovided with the producteven ifit does notfit
the outlet. Have a proper outlet installed bya qualified electrician.
• This product is foruseona nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug thatlookslike
the plugshown in figure A. Make sure that the product is connected toan outlet having the
same configuration asthe plug. No adaptershould be used with thisproduct.

CAUTION

upholstery.

Adjusting the Calfrest and Backrest
1- Turn the unit tothe StandbyMode by plugging inthe PowerPlug,
turning onthe Lock Switch andthe Power Switch.
2 - Press to adjust the angle ofthe backrest and calfrest.
Adjusting the Pillow Position
CAUTION
Always unplug the unit beforecleaning it. Nevertouch
the power plug with wet hands.
- Failure to follow these instructions may lead to electrocution or burns.
Cleaning The Upholstery
Wipe these areas with a soft, dry cloth. (DoNOTuse cloths containing any kind of chemical, etc).
Ifthe upholstery is particularlydirty, please:
l.Soak a soft cloth in water ora3%- 5% solution of mild detergent, wring itout thoroughly;
2.Wipe the surface with the wettedcloth;
3.Next, rinse the cloth in water,wring itout thoroughly and thenwipe any remaining
detergent from the surface;
4.Wipe the surfaces with a soft dry cloth;
S.AIlow them todry naturally. (DoNOTusea hairdryer todrythe surfaces).
Do not allowthese areas togetin touch with plastic for extendedperiods of time asit
may lead to discoloration.
Please doNOTuse paint thinners, benzene, or alcohol to clean the surface.
Cleaning Remote Panel and Wood Chair Back
Wipe the unit with a cloththat has been soaked ina milddetergent and thoroughlywrungout.
Next, wipe the unitwith a cloththat has beenmoistenedwithwateronly and thoroughlywrungout.
Makesure you thoroughly wring outthe cloth first whencleaning the control panel.
Allow the unit todry naturally.
Please doNOTuse thinners, benzene or alcohol to clean the surface.

Moving the Unit
CAUTION
•Donot move the unit while someone is sitting onit.Donot placeobjects onor sit, climb, or stand onthe calfrest.
Lifting and Moving the Unit
Always usetwo persons to lift the unit. Useone person onthe left andone person onthe right to carefully
move the unit, see the picture below.
• Hold onto tothe armrest tightly to preventdamage tothe unit and the floor.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following sounds are perfectly normal and will not have any effect onthe operation ofthe unit:
• Sound ofthe armrest and back cushionrubbingagainstotherobjectsduringrecline.
• Sound of Tapping.
• Soundwhen the unit isat StandbyMode by flipping the PowerSwitch to On.
• Soundwhen sitting down.
• Sound of air beingpumped in during an Air Pressure Massage.
• Sound of air being released during an Air PressureMassage.
• DeepVibrationsoundsduringVibration Massage.
• Rattlingsound of the calfrest.
Problem
