Cleaningmayonlybecommencedontheapplianceonceithascooleddown(bestslightlywarm).Theapplianceshouldbe
disconnectedfromthepoweroutletorturnedoffatyourisolationswitchbeforecommencinganycleaningprocess.Donotuse
asteamjetoranyotherhighpressurecleaningequipmenttocleantheappliance.Followovencleanerdirectionsiftheseare
beingused.WARNING:Ensuretheapplianceisswitchedoffbeforereplacingthelamptoavoidthepossibilityofelectricshock.

Washallaccessoriesinhotsoapywaterorinadishwasher,wipedrywithapaperorclothtowel.Ifyouuseyourovenforan

provided by the manufacturer. Incorrect installation might cause harm and damage which the

ELECTRICALINSTALLATIONFORTHELICENSEDELECTRICIAN
Thisovenmustbeconnectedtoa220‐240V50Hzpowersupply.
Beforecarryingouttheconnectiontothepowersupply,thevoltageratingoftheappliance(stampedonthe
applianceidentificationplate)mustbecheckedforcorrespondencetotheavailablemainssupplyvoltage,andthe
mainselectricwiringshouldbesuitablefortheoven’spowerrating(alsoindicatedontheapplianceidentification
plate);
Theswitchedoutletmustbeconnectedtoasuitableearthwiring,inconformitytocurrentsafetyregulations.
Thisappliancemustbepluggedintoa10Aswitchedoutlet.Itshouldnotbelocatedabovetheapplianceandno
morethan1.25mawayfromit.Thepowersupplycordmustnottouchanyhotsurfacesandmustbeplacedsothat
itstemperaturedoesnotexceed75°Catanypointalongitslength. After having installed the appliance, the
switchedoutletmustalwaysbeinanaccessibleposition.
NOTE:Forconnectionstothemainspowersupply,neveruseadapters,reductionsormultiplepowerpointsas

Unscrewtheglasscoverattachedtothelampholder;anti‐clockwise.

INSTALLATION
The adjacent furniture must be able to withstand a minimum temperature rise of 100°C above
the ambienttemperatureoftheroomitislocatedinduringperiodsofuse.Thepowersupplytothe
appliancemustbecutoffbeforeanyadjustmentsormaintenanceworkisdoneonit.
PREPARATIONFORINSTALLATIONANDUSE
Manufacturedwithbestqualitypartsandmaterials,thismodern,functionalandpracticalovenwillmeetyour
needsinallrespects.Makesuretoreadthemanualtoobtainsuccessfulresultssoasnottoexperienceany
problemsinthefuture.Theinformationgivenbelowcontainsrulesthatarenecessaryforcorrectpositioningand
serviceoperations.Theyshouldbereadwithoutfail,especiallybythetechnicianwhowillpositiontheappliance.
CHOOSINGAPLACEFORTHEAPPLIANCES
Thereareseveralfactorstoconsiderwhenchoosingaplaceforyouroven.Makesuretotakeinto
accountourrecommendationsbelowinordertopreventanyproblemsanddangeroussituationswhich
mightarise.
Whenchoosingaplacefortheoven,attentionshouldbepaidtoensuretherearenoflammableorcombustible
materialsintheclosevicinity,suchascurtains,oil,clothetc.whichquicklycatchfire.
Furnituresurroundingtheovenorcooktopmustbemadeofmaterialsresistanttotemperaturesofatleast
100C°.
Requiredchangestowallcabinetsandexhaustfansaboveabuilt‐incooktopaswellasminimumheights
fromtheovenboardareshownbelow.Accordingly,arangehoodshouldbeataminimumheightof65cm
fromthecooktop.Ifthereisnorangehoodtheheightshouldnotbelessthan70cm.Refertotherange
hoodinstructionsforspecificdetailsbeforeinstallation.
Ifthereisadrawerbelowtheoven,aprotectiveboardmustbeplacedbetweentheovenanddrawer.
Acoolingfandrawsairinfromtheappliancesidestocooltheoutersurfacesandremovesexcesssteam
throughthefrontoftheoven(abovethedoor).Thisfanwillcontinuetooperateforsometimeafterthe
cookingsequencehasfinished.Ventilationspacemustbeallowedbesideandbehindtheoven;failuretodo
socancausedamagetoboththeapplianceandsurroundingcupboards.

Inserttheovenintocabinetpartlybypushingitforward.Opentheovendoorandinsert2screwsintotheholeson
theovenframe.Whiletheproductframetouchesthewoodensurfaceofthecabinet,tightenthescrews.
Iftheovenisinstalledbelowabuilt‐inhob,thedistancebetweentheworktopandthetoppaneloftheovenmust
beaminimumof50mm,andthedistancebetweentheworktopandthetopoftheovencontrolpanelmustbea
minimumof25mm.
Thedimensionsandmaterialofthecabinetinwhichtheovenwillbeinstalledmustbecorrectandresistantto
increasesintemperature.Inacorrectinstallation,contactwithelectricalorinsulatedpartsmustbeprevented.
Insulatingpartsneedtobefittedinawaytoensurethattheycannotberemovedbyusinganykindoftool.
Installingtheapplianceintheclosevicinityofarefrigeratororadeep‐freezerisnotrecommendedasthe
performanceoftheabove‐mentionedapplianceswillbenegativelyaffectedduetoemanatingheat.After
removingyourovenfromitspackaging,besurethattheovenisnotdamaged.Ifyoususpectanydamagetothe
appliance,donotuseit;immediatelycontactanauthorisedServiceCentre.

Whenyoufirstrunyourovenacertainsmellwillbeemanatedarisingfromtheinsulationmaterialsandtheheater
elements.Forthisreason,beforeusingyouroven,runitemptyatmaximumtemperaturefor45minutes.Atthe
sametimeyouneedtoproperlyventilatetheenvironmentinwhichtheovenisinstalled.
Inordertocookinyouroven,theovenfunctionandtemperaturesettingcontrolsneedtobeadjustedandtheoven
timer,ifavailable,needstobeprogrammed.Otherwise,theovenwillnotoperate.
Unplugyourappliancewhenitisnotinuse.
Protectyourappliancefromatmosphericeffects.Donotleaveitundertheeffectsofthesun,rain,snow,dustetc.
ENERGYSAVING
Choosecookwareofanappropriatesize.Usingalidwillreducecookingtimes.Minimizetheamountofliquid
orfattoreducecookingtimes.Ovendoorshouldnotbeopenedoftenduringcookingperiod.

OVENFUNCTIONCONTROL
Theovenfunctioncontrolisusedtoselectthedifferentfunctions. Eachisexplainedindetailfurtherinthe
manual.Toselectafunction, turnthecontrolknobtothedesiredovenfunctionandthensetthe
temperaturewiththethermostatcontrol.
OVENTHERMOSTATCONTROL
Theoventhermostatcontrolisusedtoselectthedesiredtemperaturefor cooking.Whenthetemperature
insideyourovenreachesthevalueset,the thermostatwillcutthecircuitandthethermostatlightwillgo
off.Whenthe temperaturefallsbelowthesetvalue,thethermostatwillagainbeturnedon alongsidethe
thermostatlight.Itisnormalforthistooccurduringthe cookingprocess,particularlywhenthedoorhas
beenopened.
OVENTIMERCONTROL
Theoventimercontrolisusedtoeithersettheovenintomanualmode(notimer)orsetupatimer
between0and90minutes.
Inmanualmode,theovenrunswithoutatimer.Rotatethetimercontrolanti‐clockwisefromoff(0)tothe
firsticon.Tostoptheovenrunning,turntheknobbacktooff.
Tosetatimer,rotatethetimerclockwisetothedesiredtimeandtheovenwillrununtilthecontrolknob
reachesoff,atwhichpointtheovenwillstoprunning.Thetimercanbeadjustedatanypointduring
operation.

fromthetopoftheclosedovendoor.Thisisnotaleakinheatfromtheovencavity.

OVENFUNCTIONCONTROLS
Youcanstartthedefrostoperationbyputtingthefrozenfood
intoovenandbringingthefunctioncontrolknobtothe
indicatedmark.Thisfunctionwillnotcook/bakethefood;it
onlyhelpstodefrostitwithinashorttime.
Putthefoodtobedefrostedonthewirerackthatyouwill
placeonthethirdracksupportfromthebottom(Figure13).
Tocollectthewaterthataccumulatesduetothemeltingice,
insertanoventrayontoalowerrack.Thisfunctionisperfect
forfinishingoffthedefrostingprocessforfrozenfoodthathas
beenintherefrigeratorfromtheeveningbeforeandmaynot
becompletelythawedout.
FanForcedFunction(OO640Xonly):
ThisFanForcedfunctionusestheturboheater(locatedinthebackoftheoven)toevenlydispersetheheatinthe
oven.Thisfunctionissuitableforcookingmultipledishesonvariousovenshelves.Adjustthefunctioncontrolknob
soitindicatestheFanForcedfunctionsymbol.Adjustthethermostatcontrolknobofyouroventoatemperature
recommendedonthecookingtableforthecookingoperationyouwishtoperform.
Preheatingoftheovenforabout10minutesisrecommended.Placethefoodinasuitablecontainer,thenplace
intoovenandcookfortherequiredtime.
Ifyouaregoingtocookusingtwotraysatthesametime,whileadjustingthecookingtemperature,selectthe
temperaturethatisthelowestamongthelevelssuitableforyourfoodofchoice. Cookingwithtwotraysrequires
additionalcookingtimecomparedtocookingwithonetray.Usually,thefoodon eachtraydoesnotfinishatthe
sametimesoyoumayneedtotakethetrayofcookedfoodoutoftheoven,and continuethecookingoperation
fortheremainingtray.Aftercooking,turnofftheovenfunctionandtemperature controlknobsandsetthetimer
tooff.Takethecookedfoodoutoftheovenandplaceitonasafe heatproofsurface.Astheovenwillbehot,work
nearwithcautionandkeepchildrenawayfromthecoolingoven.
ConventionalCookingFunction(OO650Xonly)
TheConventionalfunctionallowsheattoradiateevenlyfromthelowerandupperelementsintotheoven
ensuringevencookingofbothsidesofthefood.Adjustthefunctioncontrolsoitindicatestheconventional
Cookingfunctionsymbol.Adjustthethermostatcontrolknobofyouroventoatemperaturerecommendedon
thecookingtableforthecookingoperationyouwishtoperform.Preheatingoftheovenforabout10minutesis
recommended.Placefoodinasuitablecontainer,thenplaceintoovenandcookfortherecommendedtime.This
functionispreferredformakingcakes(cupcakes,othercakesandsponges),biscuits,pastry,bakedpasta(e.g.
lasagne),casserolesandmoistdishes,roastsandovenchips.
Aftercooking,turnofftheovenfunctionandtemperaturecontrolknobsandsetthetimertooff. Takethe
cookedfoodoutoftheovenandplaceitinasafeheatproofsurface.Astheovenwillbehot,worknear with
cautionandkeepchildrenawayfromthecoolingoven.

FanAssistFunction(OO650Xonly):
Thisisthefunctionwheretheheatcomingfromthelowerandupperheatingelementsiscirculatedintotheoven
by thefanmotorandblade.AdjustthefunctioncontrolknobsoitindicatestheFanAssistFunctionsymboland
adjust theoventimertotherecommendedtimeforcooking.Adjustthethermostatcontrolknobtothe
temperature requiredonthecookingtablefortheFanAssistFunctionandpreheatovenfor10minutes.Basedon
theconventional function,thiscombinationoffeaturesincreasestheeffectivenessofthethermalradiationofthe
heatingelements throughforcedaircirculationoftheheatthroughouttheoven.Thishelpspreventfoodfrom
burningon the surface,allowingtheheattopenetrateintothefood.Foodbakedusingthisfunction,suchaspastry
oftenbrown fasterthanontheconventionalfunctionalone.
Aftercooking,turnofftheovenfunctionandtemperaturecontrolknobsandsetthetimertooff. Takethecooked
foodoutoftheovenandplaceitonasafeheatproofsurface.Astheovenwillbehot,worknear withcautionand
keepchildrenawayfromthecoolingoven.
Maxi‐GrillFunction:
Thisfunctionisusedforfastergrillingandforgrillswithalotoffood.Adjustthefunctioncontrolknobsoit
indicatestheMaxi‐Grillfunctionsymbol.Settheoven’sthermostatcontrolknobtotherequiredtemperature.After
apreheatingperiodof10minutes,putyourfoodintotheoven.Forgrilling,putthefoodontherackandsit over
thetray.Placetherackonthehighestshelf(4).Placingtherackabovetheoventrayprovidedwillensurethat any
marinade,fatoroildroppingfromthefoodwillbecollected.Whengrilling,theovendoormustbeclosed.On this
function,alloftheheatingelements/coilsofthegrilloperate.
Thehighergrilltemperatureandfunctionisidealforcookingandbrowningmeat(suchaslamborporkchops
andcutlets),chickenandseafood(suchasfishfillets,cutlets,tunasteaksorAtlanticsalmon).Thissettingisalso
goodforbrowningfruitcrumblesorcrumbtoppeddishes.
Aftercooking,turnofftheovenfunction,temperaturecontrolknobsandsetthetimertooff.Take thecooked
foodoutoftheovenandplaceitonasafeheatproofsurface.Astheovenwillbehot,worknearwith cautionand
keepchildrenawayfromthecoolingoven.
GrillwithFanFunction(OO650Xonly):
Thisfunctionwillensurecomplete,fastandallovergrillingbyworkingthefanandthegrillelementatthesame
time.AdjustthefunctioncontrolknobsoitindicatestheGrillwithFanfunctionsymbol andadjusttheoventimerto
therecommendedtimeforcooking.Settheoven’sthermostatcontroltotherequired temperature.Aftera
preheatingperiodof10minutes,putyourfoodintotheoven.Forgrilling,putthefood on therackandsitoverthe
tray.Placetherackonthehighestshelf(4).Placingtherackabovetheoventraywillensurethatanymarinade,fat
oroildroppingfromthefoodwillbecollected.Whengrilling,theoven doormustbeclosed.

heating elementatthesametime.AdjustthefunctioncontrolknobsoitindicatestheUpperelementwith
Fanfunctionsymbol andadjusttheoventimertotherecommendedtimeforcooking.Settheoven’s
thermostatcontroltotherequired temperature.Afterapreheatingperiodof10minutes,putyourfoodinto
theoven.Putthefood on therackorthetray.Placethegrill/trayonacentreshelf(2‐3).
Aftercooking,turnofftheovenfunctionandtemperaturecontrolknobsandsetthetimertooff. Takethe
cookedfoodoutoftheovenandplaceitonasafeheatproofsurface.Astheovenwillbehot,worknear with
cautionandkeepchildrenawayfromthecoolingoven.

Ifthefoodtobecookeddoesnotcompletelycovertheoventray,ifthefoodistakenoutofthedeep‐freezerorif
the trayisusedtocollectthedrippingjuicesofthefoodsduringthegrilloperation,deformationmightbeobserved
on thetrayovertimeduetohightemperaturesformingduringthecooking/bakingoperation.Thisisanormal,
physical statethatresultsduringtheheattransfer.Donotleaveaglasstrayorcontainerinacoldenvironment
immediately aftercookinginthem.Donotplacethemoncoldandwetsurfaces.Ensurethattheyslowlycooloff
byplacingthem onadrypieceofclothorwoodenboard,otherwise,theglasstrayorcontainermightbreak.Ifyou
aregoingtouse youroventogrill,werecommendusingthegrillrackwiththetrayonapositionbelow.Thisway,
splatteringanddrippingoilswillnotmaketheoveninteriordirty.Tomakecleaningeasier,addsomewaterinto

WIREGRIDSANDTRAYS
Eachwiregridandtraycomeswith a
built‐insafetyfeaturetohelp
minimisethembeingaccidentally
pulledfullyout.Thiscomesinthe
wayasa“step”,positionedpartway
infromtherearofthewirerackor
tray.
Tofitthemintotheoven,pushthe
wiregridortraypartwayintothe
ovenuntilthestep“catches”,then
anglethepartoverthestep&fully
insert.Toremove,repeatthe
processinreverse.

Whenlarger cutsofmeat,poultryorfishhavefinishedcooking,ideallyremovethefoodfromtheoven
andcoverwithfoilandstandfor10‐20minutes(dependingonsize).Thiswillhelpretainthejuices when
themeatiscarved.
Whencookinglargewholefish(1kgorlarger)itisrecommendedthatthefleshbescoredorslashed2‐3
timesoneithersidetoassistinmoreevencooking.Todothiscutintothethickfishfleshbehindthehead
throughtothebone.Thesescoredareasalsoallowyoutocheckeasilytoseeifthefishiscooked.
Itisagoodideatoeithermeasuretheinsideofyourovenforwidthandeitherwritethisdowninabook
youmayhavewithyouwhenshoppingoryoucancutapieceofstringtheovenwidth,thismakesiteasier
toknowifyourfishwillfitintotheoven.Lookscanbedeceivingandthefishlookssomuchbetterwhole
withitsheadandtail.Ifitdoesn’tfityouwillprobablyneedtoremovetheheadpriortobaking.

Cookingtimesmayvaryaccordingtothenatureofthefoods,theirhomogeneityandtheirvolume.
Whencooking acertainfoodforthefirsttime,itisadvisabletochoosethelowesttemperatureand

CakesandBaking
Organizetheovenshelveswhiletheoveniscoldandbeforepreparingarecipe.Whenbakingfollowthe
directionsin therecipehoweverifindoubtasageneralrulethefood(e.g.cake)ispositionedona
shelfthatwillhavethetopof thecakesurfaceasneartothecentreoftheovenaspossible.
Preheatoven before preparing the cake orbakeditems as some baked fooddoes not
