Installing the Batteries
Your ONE FOR ALL 3 needs 2 new “AA/LR6” alkaline batteries.
1Remove the battery cover from the back of your ONE FOR ALL 3 by
pressing down on the tab.
2Match the batteries to the + and - marks inside the battery case,
then insert the batteries.
3Press the battery cover back into place.
See picture of ONE FOR ALL 3 remote on page 3
1LED
The LED (Light Emitting Diode) flashes red to show the remote is
working.
2MA IC Key
The MAGIC key is used to set up your ONE FOR ALL 3.
3MENU Key
The MENU key controls the same function as it did on your original
remote.
4POWER Key
The Power key controls the same function as it did on your original
remote.
5Device Keys
The TV, VCR and DVD keys select the device to be controlled. For
example pressing the TV key allows the remote to control the
functions of your Television, after pressing VCR you can operate
your Video Recorder and the DVD key operates your DVD Player.
6Number Keys
The Number keys (0-9, 10, 20 (AV)) provide functions just like your
original remote, such as direct access programme selection. If your
original remote uses one/two digit input switching (-/-- symbol), this
function can be obtained by pressing the -/-- key, which is the same
as the 10 key. If your original remote has a 20 key, this function can
also be found under the AV key.
7Programme (Channel) +/- Keys
These keys operate in the same way as the keys on your original
remote. If available on your original remote, these keys will allow
you to navigate through the menu.
The Keypad
Important notes:
- In order to avoid having to reprogram your ONE FOR ALL 3 after
you remove the batteries, you will need to insert new batteries
within 5 minutes. Also it is best that you do not use rechargable
batteries.
-On the inside of the battery compartment door you will find a
label on which to write your Set-Up codes after your ONE FOR
ALL 3 is set up for your device. Please write down your codes for
easy, future reference.

8MUTE Key
The Mute key operates the same function it did on your orginal
remote control. Also, if your original remote control required that
you press an “OK” or “ENTER” key during Menu operation, the
Mute key can be used for this function.
9Volume +/- Keys
These keys operate in the same way as the keys on your original
remote. If available on your original remote, these keys will allow
you to navigate through the menu.
10 Transport keys (VCR / DVD)
These keys operate the transport functions (PLAY, FF, REW etc.) of
your device. To prevent accidental recording, the RECORD key must
be pressed twice to start recording.
11 Teletext and Fastext Keys
After pressing the TV key, the transport keys (REW, PLAY, FF, PAUSE)
are used to operate the main Teletext functions. The symbols below
the keys are for Teletext. The text keys are used to access the
Teletext functions of your television. Of course, your television must
have Teletext capability.
TEXT ON: Puts the television in the Teletext mode.
TEXT OFF: Switches the television back to regular viewing mode. On
some televisions, this may be done by pressing the TEXT ON key
several times.
HOLD/STOP: Stops changing pages.
EXPAND: Shows the top half of the Teletext page in larger letters.
By pressing again, you can see the bottom half of the Teletext page
enlarged. To return to regular Teletext viewing, press the EXPAND
key again, or press the TEXT ON key, depending on your television.
After pressing the TV key and accessing the text mode, the keys marked
red, green, yellow and blue, allow you to access the Fastext functions of
your television. If on your original remote control these keys are
used for Menu navigation, the ONE FOR ALL Fastext keys may
operate in the same way.
Important note: For a more detailed explanation of Teletext and Fastext,
please refer to the manual of your television. Remember, different televisions
control Teletext and Fastext features in different ways. Not all of the Teletext
functions may be available for your particular model.

Direct code set up
Example: To set up the ONE FOR ALL 3 for your television:
1Find the code for your device in the Code list (page 93 -
104). Codes are listed by device type and brand name.
The most popular code is listed first. Make sure your
device is switched on (not on standby).
2 Press the TV key on the ONE FOR ALL 3.
3Press and hold down MA IC until the red light blinks
twice. (The red light will blink once and then twice.)
4Enter your (four-digit device code) using the number
keys. The red light will blink twice.
5Now, aim the ONE FOR ALL 3 at your device and
press POWER If your device switches off, the ONE
FOR ALL 3 is ready to operate your device.
6Turn your device back on and try all the remote’s functions to ensure
they are working properly. If the functions do not work properly,
repeat steps 1-5 using another code listed under your brand.
7 If your device does not respond, follow steps 1 to 5 with
each code listed for your brand. If none of the codes listed
for your brand operate your device, or if your brand is not
listed at all, try the search method described on page 7.
8 Write your code in the four boxes provided in the battery
compartment and on page 10 for easy future reference.
Setting up the ONE FOR ALL 3
Before you start, please read these instructions carefully
Important notes:
- Most TV’s do not switch on pressing the POWER key. Please try pressing a
“number” key or the “TV-text off” key to switch your TV back on.
- Some codes are quite similar. If your device does not respond or is not
functioning properly with one of the codes, try another code listed under
your brand.
- If your device’s original remote control does not have a POWER key, press
PLAY instead of POWER when setting up your device.
- Remember to press the correct device key before operating your device.
Only one device can be assigned to a device key. If your original remote
operates more than one device, you need to set up each device separately..

The Search Method
If your device does not respond to the ONE FOR ALL 3 after you have tried
all the codes listed for your brand, try searching for your code. The Search
Method allows you to find the code for your device by scanning through all
the codes contained in the memory of the ONE FOR ALL 3. The Search
Method may also work if your brand is not listed at all.
Example: To search for your TV code:
1Switch your television on (not on standby) and aim your
ONE FOR ALL at your TV.
2Press the TV key on your ONE FOR ALL 3.
3Press and hold down MA IC until the ONE FOR ALL 3’s
red light blinks twice (The red light will blink once and
then twice).
4Press 9 9 1. The red light will blink twice.
5Next, press POWER.
6Aim the ONE FOR ALL 3 at your Television. Now press CH+
over and over, until your Television turns off (everytime
you press the CH+ key the ONE FOR ALL 3 will send out a
POWER signal from the next code contained in the
memory). You may have to press this key many times (up
to 150 times) so please be patient. If you skip past a code,
you can go to the previous code(s) by pressing the CH-
key. Remember to keep pointing the ONE FOR ALL 3 at
your Television while pressing this key.
7As soon as your television turns off, press MA IC to store
the code.
Once you have Set-Up your ONE FOR ALL 3, you can blink back your
SET-UP CODE for future reference.
Example: To blink out your Television code:
1Press TV once.
2 Press and hold MA IC until the ONE FOR ALL 3’s red light
blinks twice (The red light will blink once and then twice).
3Press 9 9 0. The red light will blink twice.
4For the first digit of your four-digit code, press 1and
count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is
"0".
5For the second digit, press 2and count all the red blinks.
If there are no blinks, the digit is "0".
6For the third digit, press 3and count all the red blinks.
If there are no blinks, the digit is "0".
7For the fourth digit, press 4and count
all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is "0".
Now you have your four-digit code.
Important notes:
- To search for the code for another device follow the instructions above
only press the appropriate device key instead of TV during steps 2 and 5.
- If the original remote control of your device does not have a POWER key,
press PLAY instead of POWER during step 5.

It is possible to change the mode of any device key. This is useful if you
want to set up two of the same devices on the ONE FOR ALL 3. The code
can be set up using “Direct code set up” (p. 6) or “Search method” (p. 7).
To change a device key, see the three examples below.
Example 1) if you would like to program a second TV on the DVD key.
Example 2) if you would like to program a second TV on the VCR key.
Example 3) if you would like to program a second VCR on the DVD key.
Example 1:
To program a second Television on the DVD key (for example), you need
to change the DVD key into a TV key, so press:

The DVD key has now become a second TV key.
Now enter the Set-Up code for your second TV by pressing:
(*) (TV code) (**)
Example 2:
To program a second Television on the VCR key (for example), you need
to change the VCR key into a TV key, so press:
(*) (**)
The VCR key has now become a second TV key.
Now enter the Set-Up code for your second TV by pressing:

Example 3:
To program a second Video Recorder on the DVD key (for example), you
need to change the DVD key into a VCR key, so press:

The DVD key has now become a second VCR key.
Now enter the Set-Up code for your second VCR by pressing:

Resetting a Device key
Example: To reset the DVD key to its original mode, press:

(*) Press and hold down the MA IC key until the red light (LED)
blinks twice.

Volume Punch Through
You may be able to use some functions of your Television, Video recorder,
DVD player at the same time. For example: if you are watching a program
on your video recorder, you can adjust the volume (a TV function) without
pressing the TV mode key on your ONE FOR ALL 3. The table below lists
some of the possibilities.
Last Device Mode Key Pressed: You Can Control:
VCR TV volume up and down, mute
DVD TV volume up and down, mute
To punch through to TV volume while in the VCR or DVD mode:
1. Press and hold MA IC until the red light blinks
twice.
2.Press 9 9 3.
3. Then press the TV key and the red light will blink
twice.
To cancel the “Volume Punch Through” per mode:
(Example: to cancel the “Volume Punch Through” for the VCR mode)
1. Press VCR once.
2. Press and hold down the MA IC key until the red
light blinks twice.
3. Press 9 9 3.
4. Then press the Volume (-) key and the red light will
blink four times.
Example: being in VCR mode, you will be able to control VOL+/- or MUTE
functions of your VCR (provided it has volume control).
To cancel the „Volume Punch Through“:
1. Press and hold MA IC until the red light blinks
twice.
2. Press 9 9 3.
3. Press the Volume (+) key and the red light will blink
four times.

6Number Keys
Ciffertasterne (0-9, 10, 20 (AV) giver dig de samme funktioner som på
din originale fjernbetjening, såsom adgang til direkte kanalvalg. Hvis
din originale fjernbetjening bruger en/to cifret omskiftertast
(-/-- symbol), kan denne funktion opnås ved at trykke på -/-- tasten,
som er det samme som 10 tasten. Hvis din originale fjernbetjening har
en 20-tast kan denne funktion også findes under AV tasten.
7Programme (Channel) +/- Keys (Program +/- taster)
Disse taster fungerer på samme måde som tasterne på din originale

8Mute Key
Mute tasten fungerer på samme måde som på din originale fjernbet-
jening. Desuden, hvis din originale fjernbetjening krævede at du
trykkede på OK eller Enter tasten under menu betjening, kan Mute
tasten bruges til denne funktion.
9Volume +/- Keys
Disse taster fungerer på samme måde som tasterne på din originale
fjernbetjening. Hvis til rådighed på din originale fjernbetjening, vil
disse taster give dig mulighed for at navigere igennem menuen.
10 Transport Keys (VCR/DVD)
Disse taster styrer transport funktionerne (PLAY, FF, REW osv.) på dit
apparat. For at undgå optagelse ved et uheld, skal du trykke på
optagetasten to gange for at starte optagelse.
11 Teletext and Fasttext Keys (Tekst-TV og hurtigtekst taster)
Når du har trykket på TV tasten bruges transport tasterne (REW,
PLAY, PAUSE, FF) til at betjene de vigtigste tekst-TV funktioner.
Symbolerne under tasterne er til tekst-TV. Tekst-TV tasterne bruges
til at få adgang til tekstfunktionerne på dit TV. Selvfølgelig skal dit
TV have indbygget tekst-modul.
TEXT ON: Sætter TV' et i tekst-TV indstilling (mode).
TEXT OFF: Skifter TV' et tilbage til almindelig TV indstilling. På
nogle TV, gøres dette ved at trykke på "TEXT ON" tasten flere
gange.
HOLD/STOP: Stopper sideskift.
EXPAND: Viser den øverste halvdel af tekst-TV siden med store
bogstaver. Ved at trykke på "EXPAND" igen kan du se den nederste
halvdel af tekst-TV siden forstørret. For at vende tilbage til
almindelig TV betragtning, tryk på "EXPAND" tasten igen, eller tryk
på "TEXT ON" knappen igen, afhængigt af dit TV.
Når du har trykket TV og står i "TEXT" indstilling (mode), giver tasterne
mærket rød, grøn, gul og blå, adgang til "Fasttext" (hurtigtekst)
funktionerne på dit TV.
Hvis disse taster bruges til menu navigation på din originale
fjernbetjening, fungerer ONE FOR ALL "Fasttext" tasterne måske på
samme måde.
Vigtigt: For en mere detaljeret forklaring af Tekst-TV og hurtigtekst, se ven-
ligst i brugsanvisningen til dit TV. Husk, forskellige TV styrer tekst-TV og

1Find koden til dit apparat i kodelisten (side 93 - 104).
Koderne er listet efter apparattype og fabrikat. De mest
brugte koder er listet først. Vær sikker på at dit TV er
tændt (ikke i "stand-by").
2Tryk på TV tasten på din ONE FOR ALL 3.
3 Tryk på og hold MA IC tasten nede indtil det røde
lys blinker 2 gange. Det røde lys vil blinke en gang
og så to gange.
4Indtast din (firecifrede apparatkode) ved brug af ciffertas-
terne. Det røde lys vil blinke to gange.
5Peg nu med ONE FOR ALL 3 mod dit apparat og tryk på
POWER. Hvis dit apparat slukker er ONE FOR ALL 3 klar til
at betjene dit apparat.
6Tænd dit apparat igen og afprøv alle fjernbetjeningens funktioner
for at sikre at alt virker rigtigt. Hvis funktionerne ikke virker som de
skal, gentag trin 1-5 ved at bruge en anden kode listet under dit
fabrikat.
7 Hvis dit apparat ikke reagerer, følg trin 1 til 5 med hver kode
listet for dit fabrikat. Hvis ingen af koderne listet for dit
fabrikat kan styre dit apparat, eller hvis dit fabrikat ikke er
med på listen overhovedet, prøv søgemetoden beskrevet på
side 16.
8 Skriv din kode ned i de fire felter i batterirummet og på side

Apparaterne kan findes under følgende taster:
- De fleste TV tænder ikke ved at trykke på POWER tasten. Prøv at trykke på
en ciffertast eller på "TV-text off" tasten for at tænde dit TV igen.
- Nogle koder er næsten ens. Hvis dit apparat ikke reagerer eller ikke
fungerer rigtigt med med en af koderne, prøv en anden kode listet under
dit fabrikat.
- Hvis dit apparat’s originale fjernbetjening ikke har en Power tast, tryk PLAY
i stedet for Power når du installerer dit apparat.
- Husk at trykke på den rigtige apparattast før betjening af apparatet. Kun

Søgemetoden
Hvis dit apparat ikke reagerer på ONE FOR ALL 3 efter at du har prøvet alle de
koder der er listet for dit fabrikat, prøv at søge efter din kode. Søgemetoden
giver dig mulighed for at finde koden for dit apparat ved at skanne igennem
alle koder indeholdt i hukommelsen på ONE FOR ALL 3. Søgemetoden virker
måske også selv om dit fabrikat slet ikke er nævnt overhovedet.
Eksempel: Søgning efter din TV kode:
1Tænd dit TV (ikke i standby) og peg med One For All mod
dit TV.
2Tryk på TV tasten på din ONE FOR ALL 3.
3Tryk på og hold MA IC tasten nede indtil det røde
lys på ONE FOR ALL 3 blinker to gange (det røde lys
vil blinke engang og derefter to gange).
4Tast 9 9 1. Det røde lys vil blinke to gange.
5Tryk derefter på Power.
6Peg din ONE FOR ALL 3 mod dit TV. Tryk nu CH+ igen og
igen, indtil dit TV slukker (hver gang du trykker på CH+
tasten vil ONE FOR ALL 3 sende et Power signal ud fra
den næste kode indeholdt i hukommelsen). Du skal
måske trykke på tasten mange gange (op til 150 gange)
så vær tålmodig. Hvis du springer over en kode kan du gå
tilbage til forrige kode(r) ved at trykke på CH- tasten.
Husk at blive ved med at pege ONE FOR ALL 3 mod dit
TV når du trykker på denne tast.
7Så snart dit TV slukker, tryk på MA IC for at gemme
koden.
Når du først har programmeret din ONE FOR ALL 3, kan du blinke
din installationskode tilbage til fremtidig brug.

(Volume gennemtastning)
Du kan måske bruge flere funktioner fra dit TV, VCR og DVD afspiller sam-
tidig. F.eks. hvis du ser et program på din video, kan du justere volume ( en
TV funktion) uden først at trykke på TV tasten på din ONE FOR ALL 3.
Skemaet nedenfor lister nogle af mulighederne.
Sidst tastede apparat indstilling: Du kan styre:

For at trykke igennem til TV volumen mens du står i VCR eller
DVD mode (indstilling).
