Step 1 - Scan Bluetooth mode
Scan the Bluetooth Default barcode that matches the
connection method you wish to use. The recommended
mode is HID or HID for iOS, depending on the device
you are pairing with. HID for iOS allows the onscreen
keyboard to be toggled with the function key. The
other mode is SPP or SPP for iOS and will require an
application on the target device.
Step 2 - Hold the function key for 5 sec
Hold the function key for 5 seconds until it beeps and
begins to flash blue. The OPN-3102i is now discoverable
by your host device. This can be cancelled at any time
by holding the function key for another 5 sec.
Step 3 - Perform Bluetooth search on host
Use the Bluetooth interface on your host device to
search for and select the OPN-3102i. The device will
beep to indicate success or failure. If you are pairing in
Bluetooth-SPP or Apple MFi mode, the OPN-3102i will
complete the pairing process as soon as you launch an
appropriate application (i.e. OPNTerm for iDevices) and
open the serial port created by your Bluetooth software.
If your host device does not support Simple Pairing, then
you may use the barcodes at left to input a PIN code.
Bluetooth Disconnect / Reconnect
• When connected, a Bluetooth connection can be
broken by holding the trigger key for 5 seconds.
• When disconnected, a Bluetooth connection can
be reestablished by holding the trigger key for 5
seconds. Barcode data stored when disconnected
will be automatically transmitted.

accident and damage to the device.

device. The device may get broken resulting in injury.
• Do not store this device in an extremely cold or hot environment. It may
cause fire, deformation and malfunction of the device.
• Do not put this device close to fire. It may cause fire and an accident.
• Do not use this device near combustible materials. It may result in rupture
and ignition of the device.
• Do not use this product near water or other liquids. It may cause the device
to malfunction.
• Do not insert a sharp object into the buzzer hole. Waterproof sheet may be
damaged resulting in a loss of waterproof performance.
• Do not store this device in dusty environments and in extremely high
humidity.
• Avoid static electricity and do not put this device near a radio or a TV.
Excessive static electricity may cause malfunctions.
• If perchance condensation has formed on the device, do not use it until
moisture has evaporated to prevent malfunctions.
• When cleaning this product, rub gently with either a soft dry cloth or a
damp cloth with mild detergent.
Warning
Do not throw this device into a fire. Doing so may cause the case to burst, resulting
in injury or possibly acting as an accelerant for the fire. Keep the device out of the
reach of small children. It may cause an accident and injury.
