−Set cooking plateon aflat,dryheat resistant surface.
−Turn temperature controldial to"O".
−Plug cord intooutlet.
−Turn controldialfrom"O"toanyselectedsetting.The unit willcycleonandoff tomain
selected temperature.
−HeatingElementwill begintoheatimmediately.DONOT touchwhileinuse the metal
surfaces will becomehot.
−When not inuse, unplugcord from wall outlet andallowuntil it getscool.
CAUTION
DONOT use pans thatare unstableandeasilytipped.Use flat-bottompans toinsure full contact
withHEATINGPLATEfor maximum heat efficiency.
For long-lifeperformance, avoid dropping anyitemson the HEATINGPLATE.
When first timeuse thishot plate, there are somesmoke, it’s normaland safety.
HOW TOCARE FORYOURELECTRIC COOKING PLATE
Alwaysunplugunit andallowcoolingbefore cleaning.Never immerse inwater. CleanHEATING
PLATEwithasoft,dampclothor anon-abrasive cleaner. Wipe dry.

1.Thisapplianceisfor household use only.
2.Ashortpower-supplycordisprovidedtoreducethe hazardresultingfromentanglementor
trippingover alonger cord.Anextension cordmaybeusedwithcare; however,the marked
electricalratingshould be atleastasgreatasthe electricalratingofthisappliance. The extension
cordshould notbeallowedtodrape over thecounter ortabletopwhere it canbe pulledon by
children or tripped over.
