uso, antes de rellenarlo ovaciarlo,
antes de limpiarlo orealizar cualquier
tipo de mantenimiento ytambién en caso
de detectar algún defecto.
Notas importantes para el correcto uso y mantenimiento.
1.No enchufar la unidad cuando no haya agua en la base.
2.No limpiar la superficie del transductor con materiales abrasivos.
3.Asegúrese de que no hay agua en la unidad cuando la vaya a limpiar.
4.También compruebe:
•Colocar la unidad en una superficie plana.
•Mantenga la unidad lejos de fuentes de calor o sol directo
•Evitar el vapor directo en muebles oaparatos eléctricos para que no
se condense y forme polvo blanco.

•No utilizar el humidificador en condiciones de frío extremo.
•No rellenar el depósito con el tubo de expulsión de agua del aire
acondicionado.
ANTES DE COMENZAR
¿Qué es exactamente la humedad relativa?
Humedad relativa es la cantidad de vapor que hay en la atmósfera.
Normalmente se mide con %HR. Elaire de la atmósfera siempre tiene
vapor de agua yel porcentaje depende de las condiciones meteorológicas.
Cuanta más alta esla temperatura, mayor porcentaje de agua contieneel
aire. De ahí que se emplee el término de humedad relativa.
En invierno cuando el aire frío es calentado para alcanzar una
temperatura agradable, el porcentajede agua disminuye, lo que significa
que la humedad relativa desciende. Con el fin de mantener un ambiente
sano yagradable en casa, necesitamos una adición artificial de agua. A
esto le llamamos humidificación.
Los humidificadores ultrasónicos usanel transductor ultrasónico de alta
frecuencia para romper el agua endiminutas partículas de un diámetro
aproximado de 1-5 um. El sistema de ventilación libera el vapor enel
aire seco donde seevapora para alcanzar la humedad requerida. Se puede
ver el vapor cuando sale de la unidad.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. Coloque la base del aparato sobre una superficie plana y lisa.
2. Quite el depósito de agua y rellénelo con agua a temperatura
ambiente a través del orificio situado debajo del mismo,
asegurándose de no dejar gotas sueltas antes de volver a colocarlo.
3. Vierta agua destilada en el depósito.
4. Utilice únicamente agua destilada, sin añadir ningún otro
componente.

5. Asegúrese de volver acerrar adecuadamente el tapón del orificio de
llenado.
6. Coloque el depósito de nuevo sobre la base.
7. Conecte el aparato ala corriente eléctrica mediante el adaptador.
Gire el botón deEncendido/ Apagadoyajuste devapor. La luz se
iluminará. Cuando el indicador sea de color verde debe salir el
vapor por la boquilla.
8. Se puede regular la intensidad de vapor girando el botón de Ajuste
de Vapor hasta obtener la cantidad de vapor deseada.
9. La luz de color cambiará automáticamente: púrpura -añil -azul -
verde -amarillo -naranja –rojo.Para seleccionarun solo color
puede volver apulsar el botón cuando éste aparezcaoir pulsando
hasta hacerlo aparecer.
10. No dirija el vapor hacia las paredes o los muebles.
11. Cuando el humidificador se queda sin agua el mecanismo de
producción de vapor se detiene automáticamente.
12. La duración de producción de vapor yla cantidad emitida podrán
variar en función de la dureza del agua.
13. Si lo considera oportuno, puede añadir aceite perfumado en el
depósito destinadopara taluso (Bandeja para aromas),nunca enel
depósito.
OTRAS CARACTERÍSTICAS
En caso de queutilice agua fría, las ventanas eincluso algunas paredes
pueden empañarse ohelarse sila humedad de lahabitación es muyalta. Si
esto sucediera, disminuya la emisión de vapor conel fin de evitar
posibles daños debidos al goteo delagua condensada enlos marcos delas
ventanas.
Si la humedad dela habitación fueramuy elevada, podría aparecer moho y
acumularse en ciertas superficies en donde las bacterias ylos hongos
podrían proliferar.Este mohopuedetambién dañarmuebles, paredes y,
especialmente, las tapicerías.
Deje la puerta abierta yregule la salida de vapor para eliminarel
exceso de humedad, sobre todo si se trata de una habitación pequeña.
Si no va autilizar el humidificador por un tiempo prolongado, limpie y
séquelo y guárdelo en un lugar seco en su embalaje original.
MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
1. Apague el aparato y desenchúfelo antes de cualquier procedimiento.
2. Limpie el cuerpo del aparato mediante un trapo húmedo utilizando, si
lo desea, un poco de líquido lavavajillas.
3. Enjuague el depósito de agua con agua limpia después de cada uso y
séquelo con un trapo suave y limpio antes de guardarlo.
4. No utilice detergente alguno para limpiar las piezas del aparato
destinadas normalmente acontener agua ya que los detergentes pueden
estropear este tipo de aparatos.

5. No sumerja el humidificador ni en agua ni en cualquier otro líquido.
6. No utilice productos de limpiezaodisolventesagresivos o
abrasivos.

Si su humidificador no funciona contacte con el Servicio Técnico para
efectuar las reparaciones necesarias.

Read the operatinginstructions carefully before putting the appliance
into operation andkeep the instructions including the warranty, the
receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give
this device to other people, please also pass on the operating
instructions.

conditioning.
BEFORE START
What exactly is Relative Humidity?
Relative humidity is the percentage of the water vaporwhich is contained
by the atmosphere. We normally markit with %RH. Atmospheric air always
contains water vapor, the percentage of whichdepends onthe
meteorological conditions. The higherthe temperature is the more theair
keeps water vapor. Therefore, we use the concept of “relative humidity”.
When the cold air is heated up to thecomfort temperature in winter, the
relative percentage of the water vapour falls, which means, the relative
humidity drops. In order to keep acomfortable and health environment at
home, we need some artificial addition of water or water vapour to room
air – that’s air humidification.
An ultrasonic humidifier uses ametal diaphragmvibrating at an
ultrasonic frequency to create water droplets thatsilently exit the
humidifier in the form of acool fog. This forms an extremely fine mist
of droplets about one micron in diameter that is quickly evaporated into
the air flow.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the base of unit on a smooth level surface.
2. Remove the watertank and fillitusing room temperature water
through the water filling hatch from underneath the tank.
3. Pour distiller water into the tank.
4. Always use distilled water and neveradd anything to the water (e.g.
salt, oils,perfumes, etc. …)
5. Ensure that you tighten the cap on the filling hatch securely.
6. Place the tank onto the base.
7. Plug the applianceinto the power outlet with the adapter, turn on
the ON/ OFF &steamadjusting knob. The power indicatorlight should
be illuminated in green colour once ready.
8. The mist intensitycan be adjustedby turning the mist adjusting
knob until the desired amount of mist is emitted from the nozzle.
9. The light will change automatically: purple-indigo-green-yellow-
orange-red. To select one specificcolour press thebutton when it
appears or push the button until making it appears.
10. Ensure that the mist output nozzle is directed away from walls
and furniture.
11. When the humidifier runs out of water, the appliance will
automatically switch off the steam production mechanism.
12. The steam production time and emission quantity may vary
depending on the water hardness.
13. If necessary, you can add scented oil in the holder intended
for that use (Aroma tray), and never using the water tank.
OTHER FEATURES
In cold weather, windows, and evensome walls mayfog or develop frost
from excessive indoor humidity. If this occurs, reducethe mist intensity
setting to avoid damage from condensed water dripping on windowsills.
Too much humidity in the room mayallow moisture to accumulate on
surfaces where bacteria and fungi can grow. Collectedmoisture may also
harm furniture, and walls, especially wallpaper.
To eliminate too much humidity, especially in asmall room, leave the
room door open, add adjust the mist intensity control setting.
When the unit is not to be used for along time, cleanand dry the itand
store at a dry place in the original package.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Switch the appliance off and unplug it.

2. Wipe the body of the appliance off with asoft damp cloth. If
necessary use a little washing-up liquid.
3. Rinse the water tank with clean water after each use. To dry for
storage, wipe with a soft clean cloth.
4. Do not use detergents to cleananypart of theunitthat normally
contains water. Detergents can interfere with the performance of the
unit.
5. Do not immerse the humidifier in water or any other liquid.
6. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

Remarques importantes pour l’utilisation correcte et la maintenance
1. Ne branchez pas l’unité quand il n’y a pas d’eau dans le réservoir.
2. Ne nettoyez pas la surface du transducteur avec des produits
abrasifs.
3. Assurez-vous pas d'eau dans l'appareil lorsque vous nettoyez.
4. S'il vous plaît vérifier:
•Placez l’unité sur une surface plane.
•Tenez l’unité éloignée des sources de chaleur ou de la lumière

Qu’est-ce exactement l’humidité relative ?
L’humidité relative est la quantité de vapeur présente dans l’atmosphère.
Elle est habituellement mesurée en %HR. L’air de l’atmosphère contient
toujours de la vapeur d’eau dont lepourcentage dépend des conditions
météorologiques. Plus la température est élevée, plus le pourcentage
d’eau contenu dans l’air est élevé.C’est de ce fait que provient le
terme d’humidité relative.
En hiver, quand l’air froid est chauffé pour atteindre une température
agréable, le pourcentage d’eau diminue, ce qui signifie que l’humidité
relative descend. Pour maintenir une ambiance saineet agréable chez
nous, il nous fautdonc ajouter artificiellement de l’eau. C’est ce que
nous appelons l’humidification.
