heatingelementswill switchoff.The knob will turn graduallytowardsthe "0"position, andwhen it
reaches "0", abuzzer sounds.
The oven isprovided alsowiththe following accessories and elements:
-Wire rackthat canbe placed inone ofthe slotsprovided
-Baketraythat canbe placed inone ofthe slotsprovided
-Crumbtraythat canbe placed at the bottom todistributelower heat uniformly
-Pilot light:on when resistances are working
WHENUSING FORTHEFIRSTTIME
Before beingusedfor cooking,the applianceshould be switched on “empty” toeliminatethe “smell of
new”and anyoilsremaining from the productionprocess. Insert the plug inthe power socket,turn
thermostatto“max”,turnthe timer knob toposition “20”,position the selector knob andleave
the applianceon. When the cycleends, remove the plug from the socket and wait until the applianceis
coolbefore removingtheaccessories. These mustbe washedinhotwater withnormaldishwashing
liquid,rinsed and dried before being returned totheirposition.
USING THEOVEN
Generallyspeakingit isnotnecessarytopreheatthe oven, butfor somefoods(meat,pastries)it is
advisabletopreheat the oven asdescribed above,making sure the doorisclosed properly.
Put the shelfgridsor/and enamel baking trayat the desired height inthe slotsinthe oven.
• Placethe enamel trayat the bottom ofthe oven.
• Put the food (inthe plateor baking tray,etc.)and shut the door.
• Followthese instructions:
-Insert the plug inthe power socket
-Turn the thermostatknob clockwise tothe temperature required
-Turn the selector switchtodesiderateposition
-Turn thetimer knob tothe timerequired:thepilotlightandtheovenstartstoheat:ifcookingtimeis
not sufficient,restart the timer for the timestill required.
When cookingiscompleted,turn the selector switchto;thethermostatto“0”andremove the
plug from the power socket.
