NEVER leave your child unattended.
Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child.
Stroller must be fully assembled and locked in position prior to use.
NEVER use the stroller seat in motor vehicles.
Do not use with more than one child in a seat at a time.
Maximum child height for the stroller seat is 40 in (101 cm).
Maximum child weight in any seat on the G5 Stroller Base is 50 lbs (23 kg).
Maximum child weight in the G5 Stroller Seat on the G5 Stroller Base is 50 lbs (23 kg).
Maximum child weight in the G5 Stroller Seat on the Stroller Frame G3 is 40 lbs (18 kg).
Always use the stroller seat harness to secure the child.
Always use the Orbit Baby Infant Insert for infants under 15 lbs (7 kg). Use the infant
insert only when the shoulder straps are in the lowest position. Infant insert must be
used to ensure that the stroller seat harness properly restrains your child.
The stroller seat must be securely locked into a SmartHub and locked into use
position before loading child.

Do not carry or lift the stroller seat with child in it.
Only use the stroller seat secured to a SmartHub. The stroller seat is not a stand-alone
product. The stroller seat is not stable unless docked into a SmartHub.
Child’s movement can slide stroller seat. NEVER place stroller seat near edges of countertops,
tables, or other elevated surfaces.
DO NOT use stroller on stairs or escalators with child in it.
DO NOT lift or carry stroller base or stroller seat by water bottle tray, support bar, sunshade
or snack tray.
Stroller seat can roll over on soft surfaces and suocate child. NEVER place stroller seat on
beds, sofas or other soft surfaces.
Do not place packages or accessory items on the stroller unless made by or specically
approved by Orbit Baby. Added parcels or accessory items can make the stroller
become unstable.
Do not place more than 1 lb (0.5 kg) in the water bottle tray. Excessive weight may
cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.

Never use the water bottle tray or the snack tray to hold hot liquids. These liquids may
splash and spill onto you or your child and cause injury.
ALWAYS use front wheel swivel locks when pushing stroller on uneven terrain.
Use caution when pushing stroller on uneven terrain or hills.
ALWAYS lock the parking brake when the stroller is stopped.
NEVER leave stroller unattended on a hill or incline, even when parking brake is locked.
Keep ngers and other body parts clear of hinged joints when folding and unfolding stroller.
When adjusting and docking the stroller seat, always ensure all of the child’s body parts are
clear of moving parts and the stroller base. Keep your hands clear of moving parts when
adjusting the stroller seat.
Use caution when pushing stroller near trac or in highly congested areas.

Using this Instruction Manual:
Some generic product names may dier by country.
Stroller may be called pushchair.
Bassinet may be called carry cot. Bassinet on a stroller base may be called pram.
Rocker may be called stand.
This manual describes how to use the products shown below. The Orbit Baby Cargo Basket and
Sunshade are packaged with the Orbit Baby Stroller Seat. All other products sold separately.

Remove all the parts from the box. For Stroller Base you should have received a stroller base, two
(2) front wheels, and two (2) rear wheels. For Stroller Seat you should have received a stroller seat,
support bar, snack tray, infant insert, footrest, sunshade, guard cover, shoulder pad, and cargo basket.
Sunshade sold separately. These parts are illustrated in your manual foldout.
WARNING
PINCH HAZARD:
Avoid injury from pinching or nger entrapment. Keep children away when unfolding the stroller.
Keep your hands clear of moving parts when folding and unfolding the stroller.
Stroller must be fully assembled and locked in position prior to use. Listen for an audible
CLICK to conrm that it is fully deployed.
Unfolding the stroller base
Assembling the stroller base (required for initial assembly, storage and travel only)
Your stroller base comes folded in the box.
Holding the twist grip in your left hand, push out on the fold lock with your right thumb.
Rotate the handlebar upward with your right hand.
Lock the handlebar in place. You will hear a CLICK.
Pull the metal tab and insert the rear wheel into the rear leg. Once axle is fully inserted, release metal
tab, and pull out on wheel to check the rear wheel is locked in place. Repeat on the other side.
Insert the front wheels into the front cross brace. You will hear a CLICK when they are locked in place.

PINCH HAZARD:
When docking your stroller seat or adjusting your stroller, keep hands and ngers, especially of
children, clear of moving parts and the SmartHub.
Never pull the release levers when the stroller seat is in folded position. This may damage
the stroller seat.
Keep the SmartHub area clean. Keep all metal and plastic parts clear of objects, debris and liquids
to allow proper and safe functionality. Never place the stroller seat in sand or other surfaces with
ne, loose particles.
Listen for an audible CLICK which indicates that the stroller seat is locked into the SmartHub.
Always check that the stroller seat is securely locked into the SmartHub by tugging upwards and
turning.
Lock the stroller wheels and check stability of the stroller seat before placing your child in or
removing your child from the stroller seat.
Stroller seat rotation must always be locked in position before moving. Do not rotate the stroller
seat when the stroller is in motion.
Lock the parking brakes and check stability when the stroller is stationary.
To assemble the cargo basket , hook the handle onto the center of the front basket spar. Insert the
cargo basket handle into the rail on the underside of the SmartHub. You will hear a CLICK when it locks
in place.
To secure the front of the basket, insert one of the plastic handles into the opening on the front part of
the stroller base. Hold it in place while inserting the other plastic handle into the opening on the other
side of the stroller base.

Attaching the stroller seat
Assembling the stroller seat (required for initial assembly, storage and travel only)
Assembly of the Orbit Baby Stroller is now complete.
Your stroller seat comes folded in the box.
To unfold, place the stroller seat hub at on the ground and push back on the top of the stroller seat
until it locks into the upright position. You will hear a CLICK.
Locate the snack tray , support bar , footrest , and guard cover in the box.
Assemble the sunshade by inserting both sunshade mounts into the upper set of holes on the stroller
seat. You will hear a CLICK.
If your child weighs less than 15 lbs (7 kg), place the Orbit Baby Infant Insert in the stroller seat before
loading your child.
Orient the support bar so the Orbit Baby text is in the correct direction. Insert the support bar into the
lower set of holes on the stroller seat. You will hear a CLICK.
For snack tray assembly go to step.
Press down on both buttons on the footrest and insert it into the openings in the seat.
Dock the seat into a SmartHub and rotate it to one of the locking positions. You will hear a
CLICK when it locks into one of the use positions.
WARNING
If you do not hear a CLICK, the seat is still in the folded position. Do not use in this
position. Push backwards on the top of the seat to lock it in the upright position.
Securing Your Child

Restraint harness use is required for all use modes.
Always secure your child to avoid serious injury from falling and sliding out. Always use the
complete restraint harness.
Never let your child climb into or out of the stroller seat unassisted.
Always securely adjust the restraint harness around your child when in the seat.
Always use the Orbit Baby Infant Insert for infants under 15 lbs (7 kg). Use the infant insert only
when the shoulder straps are in the lowest position. Infant insert must be used to ensure that the
restraint harness properly restrains your child.
Children have been STRANGLED in loose or partially buckled harness straps. Fully restrain the
child at all times. NEVER leave child in the stroller seat when straps are loose or undone.
Do not place in or near this seat any cord, strap or similiar item that could become wrapped
around a child’s neck
Do not place this seat near a window or a patio door where a child could reach the cord of a
blind or curtain and be strangled.
Keep hands and ngers, especially of children, clear of moving parts as you secure your child
in the stroller seat.

Clip the snack tray over the center portion of the support bar .
Open the lid of the snack tray by squeezing tab and pulling back.

Keep hands and ngers, especially of children, clear of moving parts as you install the snack tray.
Never allow your child to climb over or sit on the snack tray.
Do not place more than 1 lb (0.5 kg) in the snack tray. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous
unstable condition to exist.
Securing your child
Open one side of the support bar by pushing on the oval button. Hook the buckle tongues of
the restraint harness in the upholstery aps to keep them out of the way while loading the child.
Place your child in the stroller seat. Place the restraint harness around your child and insert the
buckle tongues into the crotch buckle . You should hear two CLICKS. Adjust the harness to
tightly t around your child by pulling up and down on the webbing pull tab . To release the
buckle, press the red buttons while simultaneously squeezing the side tabs.
See section for adjusting the height of the shoulder straps.
Close the support bar. You should hear a CLICK. Adjust the footrest position to t your child by
pulling on the footrest lever located underneath the footrest.

Adjusting the shoulder strap height
The height of the shoulder straps can be adjusted based on the size of your child. They should be
positioned in the slot at or slightly above your child’s shoulders.
Remove the memory foam padding from the seat (if applicable). Once removed, peal back the top right
and left corners of the seat padding, attached by Velcro. This will give you access to the adjusting shoulder
stoppers and slots.
Press release tab on the seat shell and slide plastic harness stopper from the slot and pull the harness
through the upholstery seat padding.
Re-thread each shoulder strap through the correct upholstery slot and insert stopper into the
corresponding shell slot at the new height. You should hear a CLICK. Ensure the harness is secure by
tugging on the shoulder strap. Reattach upholstery to stroller seat Velcro and replace Memory foam
padding (if applicable).
WARNING

Grasp both side handles to undock the seat.
In order to prevent accidental undocking, do not rotate or recline the seat by pressing both
levers. Press both levers only when undocking the stroller seat.
When adjusting and docking the stroller seat, always ensure all children’s body parts are clear of
moving parts and the stroller base. Keep your hands clear of moving parts when adjusting the
stroller seat.
To avoid pinching your child’s hands, feet or legs, adjust the footrest to position 1 before rotating
or docking the seat in a rear-facing position.
Using Your Stroller

Reclining, rotating and undocking the stroller seat
Stroller Seat removal
Recline the stroller seat to one of the three positions by pulling on the right side release lever and
holding the stroller seat with the other hand. Let go of the release lever to lock the stroller seat in positon.
Rotate the stroller seat by pulling the right side release lever and rotating the stroller seat with the
other hand to a locked position. Let go of the release lever to lock the stroller seat in position.
Undock the stroller seat by pulling both release levers and lifting.
Pull the stroller seat up in a vertical direction.
WARNING
PREVENT ACCIDENTAL UNDOCKING:
Never press both release levers to recline or rotate the stroller seat. Pressing both levers is
only for undocking the stroller seat.

Using the sunshade and sun visor
Pull the sunshade and sun visor forward for maximum coverage.
The sun visor can be tucked under the sunshade when not in use.
Retract the sunshade when not in use.
When assembling the sunshade frame make sure that it is assembled in the proper order.
· Each frame and the sunshade hinge parts has the number 1, 2, or 3 engraved.
· When assembling the sunshade, make sure that the number engraved on the frame is inserted to the
corresponding number of the sunshade hinge.
· Sunshade hinge release button should be facing outwards.
How to use the second position of the sunshade
· From the fully opened third position, push back the sun visor until the second frame.
· If is pushed beyond the second frame then the sunshade may fold automatically.

The stroller can be pushed on any section of the handlebar.
Adjust handlebar height by unlocking the adjustment tab. Position the handle on the desired position
then lock the adjustment tab.
Lock the brakes by pressing rmly down on the red brake pedal with your foot. Conrm that the
brake is engaged by gently rocking the stroller.
Unlock the brakes by pressing rmly down on the green pedal.
WARNING
When locking the handlebar adjustment tab, never force it closed.
ALWAYS lock the parking brake when the stroller is stopped.
NEVER leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, even when parking brake is locked.

Locking the front wheels
Using the cargo basket
For bumpy terrain, use the front wheel swivel locks . To lock the front wheel forward-facing, slide
front wheel swivel lock button into the down position and rotate the wheel until you hear a CLICK.
To unlock, slide the button into the up position.
To access the main compartment of the basket, pull open the front or rear cargo basket door.
There are two additional zippered storage pockets on the sides of the basket.

ALWAYS use the front wheel swivel locks when pushing the stroller on uneven terrain.
Use caution when pushing the stroller on uneven terrain or hills.
Do not place more than 5 lb (2 kg) in the cargo basket. Excessive weight may cause a
hazardous unstable condition to exist. Do not use the cargo basket as a child or pet carrier.
Traveling and Storing

Folding the stroller
Storing and moving the folded stroller
Remove the child from the stroller seat. Undock the stroller seat from the SmartHub and set aside
where children cannot access it. Release the twist grip lock on the stroller frame.
Rotate the twist grip .
Lift to fold the stroller base.
The fold lock will engage when the stroller base is fully folded. You will hear a CLICK.
To fold the stroller base and have it stand on its own, position the handlebar on the lowest position.
To carry the stroller base and stroller seat together, place the footrest in position 2 and hook over
the twist grip.

Packing the stroller seat for travel or storage
Remove the support bar and footrest . Undock the stroller seat from the SmartHub . Fold the
stroller seat by squeezing the fold slider at the bottom of the stroller seat hub and pushing the
hub all the way forward.
Put the stroller base handlebars in their lowest position.
Remove both of the stroller front wheels by pushing the release button and pulling down
on the wheels.
Place the folded stroller base with the SmartHub facing up and nest the stroller seat onto it with the
stroller seat hub located next to the stroller base twist grip .
Orbit Baby recommends always using the Orbit Baby Stroller Travel Bag (sold separately) when
traveling to protect your stroller.
Avoid excessive exposure to sun or heat, which may cause fading or warping. Keep the SmartHub,
twist grip and handlebar mechanisms free of abrasive grime and moisture. If wet, use a soft cloth to
dry. Regularly check that all rivets, screws and safety devices are tight and secure. Inspect restraint
harness and wheels, and replace if necessary. All hard goods (plastic and metal) may be wiped clean
with a damp cloth. Never use bleach or detergents. Do not submerge or use running water on any
metal or plastic parts of the stroller.

Upholstery can be removed by detaching the hook and loop fasteners and releasing the tabs under
the stroller seat.
To remove the shoulder harnesses press the release tab on the seat shell. Slide the plastic harness
stopper from slot and pull out through upholstery.
The sunshade can be removed by unhooking it from the outer fabric, pushing the oval button on
the sunshade mounts and pulling the sunshade free from the stroller seat.
The water bottle tray can be wiped down with soapy water.
Remove the snack tray from support bar by pulling upward and seat. Snack tray is not dishwasher
safe. Hand wash in soapy water.
