Charge Battery Before Use.
The Power Brush Battery
The Power Brush battery is built using the latest Lithium (Li-ion) technologies. When properly treated, Li-ion
batteries can last for many years and have 500 charge & discharge cycles or more. The battery is actually
composed of individual encapsulated Li-ion cells and includes a BMS, or "Battery Management System.
The “BMS” typically performs two functions:
1. Monitoring to protect against over-discharging of each cell.
2. Balancing the cell voltages during charging with all lithium-ion batteries, balancing is required for proper
battery function; otherwise, some cells will end up "full" with others only "partly full”.
The battery needs to be charged in a location without any flammable material immediately nearby. If
something were to go wrong during charging, parts may get very hot. Avoid leaving the battery unattended. If
there are any signs of problems, please promptly unplug from the wall outlet and contact your approved dis-
tributor or repairer for further instructions.
If you need to store the battery for long periods, start by fully charging the battery, and then make sure to
charge it at least once a month to keep it topped up. These batteries will discharge themselves a bit during
storage, since the BMS draws a small amount of power to maintain cell balance. if you don't occasionally
charge them, one or more cells may fall below the cell critical threshold, permanently damaging the battery
and voiding the warranty.

1. Cleaning the roller brush :
The Power Brush roller must be free of debris for efficient cleaning and maximum suction.
When cleaning is required, switch Off the Power brush and turn it over to inspect the bottom. If debris is
wound around the roller brush, remove debris carefully by cutting them with a pair of small nail scissors
and pulling them with tweezers. MAKE SURE Power Brush is OFF. Avoid damaging or cutting the
bristles.
2. Replacing the drive Belt :
Depending on how much you use your Power Brush, its drive belt will occasionally need to be replaced.
When a new belt is required, switch Off the Power Brush (Green light goes Off) and turn it upside down.
• First remove the 2 screws located at the back of the plate on both sides of the connecting elbow.
Then, using a 5 or 6 mm flat screw driver, pry open the plate, starting from one side of the
connecting elbow, around the Power Brush to the other side of the elbow.
• Remove the plate from the main body.
• Lift up the brush roller and bearing end cap assembly and disengage the old belt from the roller
and motor pulley.
• Remove any debris wound around the roller and bearing end cap assembly by cutting them with a
pair of small nail scissors and pulling them with tweezers. Avoid damaging or cutting the bristles.
• Fit the new belt over the motor shaft and roller pulleys.
• Gently pull the assembly toward the front of the Power Brush in order to locate both roller bearing
end caps into their respective cavities.
• Check if the roller and motor shaft are moving freely by turning the roller by hand.
• Fit the bottom plate back on by carefully pushing it downward until the front lip click back to its
original location.
• Locate and tighten the 2 screws at the back of the plate.

Trouble Shooting
If you come across a problem, please use the checklist below before contacting your Origin dealer.
a) The Power Brush does not turn On.
• Check that the on/off switch is in the "ON" position and the green LED is glowing.
• Check the charging status of the battery. If the red LED is glowing, your battery might require charging.
b) The Power Brush has stopped during operation and the red LED is not glowing.
• Check for roller brush jamming. Remove any debris wound around the roller and bearing holders by cut-
ting them with a pair of small nail scissors and pulling them with tweezers. Avoid damaging or cutting the
bristles. Wait a few minutes for the Battery Management System to reset itself.
c) The Power Brush has stopped during operation and the red LED is glowing.
• Check the charging status of the battery. If the red LED is glowing, your battery might need to be
charged.
d) The suction performance is decreasing.
• Check the Power Brush roller housing and the connecting elbow for a blockage and clear it if require. If
necessary, open the bottom plate to check the suction channel between the plate and the motor cover for
blockage (opening the plate is the same procedure as for replacing the belt). MAKE SURE Power is OFF.
• Check the wand tube, handle, vacuum cleaner filters and bag for upstream blockages.
e) The Power Brush vibrates and makes a high pitch noise.
• Check the roller brush for strings, rubber bands or large amount of fibres jammed around the roller and
bearing end cap assembly. Remove all debris wound around the roller, bearings and end caps by cutting
them with a pair of small nail scissors and pulling them with tweezers. If necessary, open the bottom
plate to check the suction channel for blockage between the plate and the motor cover (opening the plate
is the same procedure as for replacing the belt). MAKE SURE Power is OFF. Avoid damaging or cutting
the bristles.
• Check the belt for excessive wear and replace it if require, according to the above procedure.
f) The motor is spinning but the roller brush does not turn.
• Check for a broken or worn out belt and replace it according to the above procedure.
For any further issues, please contact your authorized Origin dealer.
Do not attempt to access to the motor compartment or the battery system as this can
cause harm and destroy the battery cells. All warranty will be void if this
occurs. Any electrical work should only be carried out by an Origin authorized dealer.
