Initial Setup Checklist
Complete and mail the Product Registration Form.
Read the User Guide!
Verify operation. Enter the Default Master Code 5011234.
The System will flash the Green Light and Unlock. Then after
approximately 5 seconds the Red Light will flash and the
System will Lock. If the System fails, reset the system. (See
Resetting The System page 118), then verify operation.
Enter the Menu Mode (see Programming in Menu Mode, page
31).
Determine the code length that you want to use and set the
Master code (see Changing the Master Code , page 73).
Add any Submaster codes that you plan to use (see Adding
Submaster Codes, page 67).
Set the clock (see Setting the Clock, page 95).
Set Daylight Savings if different from the default Northern
setting. (see Setting Daylight Savings, page 98).
Set the Open Delay Time if different from the default of 2
seconds (see Setting the Open Delay Time, page 96).
Program the Location number (see Setting the Location
Number, page 101).
If you are going to use the Autocode feature, program the
Facility Autocode numbers (see Setting the Facility
Autocodes, page 102).
If you are going to control access to User codes by groups,
adjust the group boundaries as needed (see Setting Group
Boundaries, page 99).
Add User codes (see Adding User Codes, page 36).

Assign group membership if needed (see Assigning Extended
Group Membership, page 43).
Assign Supervisor codes if needed (see Assigning Supervisor
Codes, page 48).
Assign Manager codes if needed (see Assigning Manager
Codes, page 50).
Program the Time Schedule and Holiday List if needed (see
Adding a Schedule Event, page 80).
End the Menu Mode (see End Command, page 33).
