GD334 Gas Detector
Quick Start Guide

The Gas Detector uses an extra low power consumption ZigBee wireless
module. It is used for detecting combustible gas leakage. Also it can also
be used as a ZigBee repeater that extends wireless transmission distance.
The gas detector adopts high stability semi-condutor gas sensor with little
sensitivity drift.
This guide will provide you with an overview of the product and help you
get through the initial setup to installation.

Reset. Press and hold the reset button for five seconds until the LED
indicator flashes green six times to reset to default factory setting.
Test button
Test. Press the test button to enter test mode. The LED indicator will flash
three times and the alarm will beep three times.

3.1 To get started, you will need:
A SEG-X3 Smart Gateway
The mobile app
3.2 Connect to gateway’s network
1. Plug the gas detector to power outlet, the LED indicator will flash
alternatively for three minutes, indicating the sensor is warming up.
2. After the LED indicator become solid green, set your gateway to permit
joining.
3. The gas detector will join the gateway’s network automatically. The LED
light will be off and then light up in green again indicating the gas detector
has successfully joined the gateway's network.
4. Now you can see the gas detector under "Security" in the mobile App.
3.3 Mounting instructions
Before installation, please confirm whether the gas density is heavier or
lighter than the air. If the gas is heavier than the air, such as LPG, etc, install
at 0.3-1m height from floor, less than 1.5m from the gas source.If the gas is
lighter than air, such as natural gas, manufactured gas, marsh gas, etc, install

at 0.3-1m height from ceiling, less than 1.5m from the gas source.
